They came to my place twice. The toilet is still plugged. Nice guys but just not good at what they do.
Linda D.We had a Pelican water system installed in July 2014. It's been great; however, we recently found a crack in one tank, then the other. It is under warranty from Pelican, so we called them. Pelican, initially told us Mr. Rooter was not in business anymore, and couldn't verify our purchase. I called Mr. Rooter, to find they were in business, but she didn't see any record of our purchase, only that we had inquired about a water system. She was to have ""Samantha"" look into this further, and call me back. Fortunately, we have the receipt, and bank statement for the system, and Pelican took care of us. Still waiting for a call back from ""Samantha"", since 6-17-2020, though. How can you lose a $3400 purchase, and be in business? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE FACT!!
G M.My wife and I own a few properties around town and we have called these guys multiple times when we needed an emergency snake when and had no one else to call. After dealing with them 4 times I now know exactly the racket they're running. Younger dude comes out with a snake and clumsily attempts to snake your line. Around 20 minutes later the ""manager"" arrives to let you know the problem will not be fixed with a snake and will need some serious work. He will offer to run a camera down the lines for ""free"". After they will let you know you MUST get a hydro wash or the problem will never go away. Every single time we've had them come they've pulled the EXACT same routine on us. Last time they came they gave me a $2300 quote so I called someone else who doesnt work on commission and got it cleared in 20 minutes for $90 with a warrantee. Someone should sue this company. Theses guys are crooks. Ask your local plumbing store for names of honest plumbers. These are not.
Mariyah B.Technician Bobby did a wonderful job, got the job done within two hours, and was very personal personable and pleasant. He explained everything he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Will definitely consider Mr. Rooter back in the future if this occurs again. And I will
Ask for Bobby as my technician.
We were very impressed with these folks. We had a clogged line starting from our kitchen. They came out the first day and cleaned the line. The next day, it was obvious that there was still a clog (the sink backed up) and they were right on top of it. Sent Robert to scope the line and then Dwayne to give it another thorough cleaning. No extra charge.
It's been working great since. Really excellent customer service and follow-through.

Amy L.We had an issue with our pipes being blocked and it was quickly resolved!!! Frank was an amazing technician and kind! He helped us understand the issue, walked us through the process he was having to do, and answered all of our questions. Frank was super fast in responding to our issue and fixed the issue within an hour. We are very pleased with the results and recommend Frank for any of your household needs with Mr. Rooter! THANK YOU, FRANK!!!
Technician David was Very knowledgeable, friendly and had great customer service skills. He took care under sink to cover with plastic and made recommendations to correct problem. Efficiently solved issue and really appreciated his honesty and hard work!!
My review is for the service we received from Elton. Elton saved us $11,000.00 in repairs on septic main line. The excellent service consisted of an immediate estimate for a main line to be replaced in a septic system in a home we were considering purchasing. After the usual home inspection on a prospective home which looked pristine, we had a video inspection done of the septic tank LINES. The original steel pipes from 1961 had cracks, holes, and annealing issues, from original bathroom and kitchen, to the septic tank, which was UNDER THE HOME. When buying an older home with the original piping, it is good to check them, and we are so happy we did. While the home subsequently passed the county inspection for the actual septic tank, the county does NOT check the lines leading to the tank. We declined to purchase the home...as the seller declined to repair the home. (Hey, you got me!) Hope the seller discloses the new facts about this 11K repair job when YOU are looking to buy that house! We needed info FAST...and we received FAST and EFFICIENT service from Elton at Mr. Rooter. He came out immediately and did his own video inspection, wrote us up an estimate including all the measurements, what the company would and could not do, indicated the warranties for products and labor, and was available for our questions. I found him to be personable, helpful, courteous and professional. We shared his estimate with the seller, hope they use Mr. Rooter to fix the house before selling it to YOU. In the near future, we will be putting our OWN home up for sale soon, and will call Elton to come do a pre-sale inspection so we can do repairs before selling. It is unfortunate that many buyers do not protect themselves, when it is so easy...make it part of a home inspection to call Elton at Mr. Rooter, for a video inspection of septic lines to make sure you know what you are getting into! Remember...just because the county approves a septic TANK...that inspection never explores the septic LINES! In this case, we would have had to jackhammer the slab out in two rooms, paid over 11K in just pipe and slab repairs, and THEN remodeled the floors, repaired the drywall, etc. Mr. Rooter saved me an $11,000.00+ headache...with just ONE PHONE CALL to Elton. THANK YOU!
Kristin D.Excellent customer service and communication! I called yesterday for someone to come out and clean a few drains and they sent a tech today. They called to remind me of my appointment and let me know the tech was on the way. They texted me a reminder with the tech's picture (safety first). The tech arrived with a smile and booties on his shoes to keep my floor clean. He was able to clear out 3 drains and showed me what the issue was (hair creature that rivaled a full size animal). He was quick but thorough! He left areas clean. I will definitely call them again if needed (hopefully we don't lol). Shout out to Jason Wall who exemplifies customer service!
If you want to flush your money down the drain, this is the place to call. My upstairs shower was leaking, which caused water to drip through my ceiling. The mr rooter ""experts"" wanted to charge me ~$6K do do extensive work they claimed was necessary to fix the problem. They were pushy in trying to get me to start right away, but I wanted a second opinion...I'm glad I did. As it turns out, the problem was a small crack in the grout. Another company fixed the problem for $80. I highly recommend not using mr rooter, unless you want to get completely ripped off.
