I called Mr. Rooter on Sunday. The answering person said the technician would call shortly to talk about details of how the quote on the plug sewer line coming from the toilets. Steve Amos called in 30 min, he asked what the situation was, accessed it and said he would be at my house around 2 pm depending on how it went on the other 2 customers that were ahead of me. He called at 1:45 pm said he had a break from the second customer and would come by 2 pm. He was there at 2 pm, we talked about the situation, he put a camera into the clean up hole in front of the house. In 5 min he was able to assess what the plug was about and told me how he would attack it. Gave me a fair quote minus the $20 coupon they had in their website. He fixed it in 10 min. I had a problem with a leek where the water goes to the toilet. He took care of it in 5 min at no extra charge. He was patient, knowledgeable and very professional. I will definitely call them again if I have another plumbing issue. I highly recommend them. Excellent service.

Amazing! I had Steve come out after I was told I would have to rip out my floors to replace a collapsed pipe for my washer. It makes all the difference having a competent plumber. He was familiar with the plumbing and where to find the clean out drain and fixed my washer drain within minutes while the other plumber the day before was on my roof and telling me I had to have a major construction project done. I had been in tears but this plumber made my day! I am very happy!

We tried one of the other company's, the one that gives you the flat price before and what a rip off, almost $1,000 for 2 hours work.
We switched to Mr Rooter and have been happy we did.
Dave and his technicians are knowledgeable and courteous. We have used them for years now for several major projects and simple clogged drain. They have been on time and the prices very fair. It is also great to have a service available 24 / 7
Have recommended to friends and they to are happy with the service.

Was told they had no appointments for the day i called but they could be here next day between 7:30 and 8 with a phone call when the technician was on the way. I did get that phone call. The tech was here at 8. He told me what needed to be done and the pricing for that. I appreciated the pricing being up front and flat rate. The only concern I had was I have an older home and the last time I had drain problems (prolly 10 yeas ago) and they had to do it form the roof. This guy said their insurance would not cover him on the roof. That was a little disconcerting but it turns out he fixed the problem with out having that challenge. I would use them again.

Awesome! Upon my call, Dave tried to help me troubleshoot my problem over the phone!!! He took the time to help me although I was not yet even a customer of his. Although we tried to fix the issue over the phone, Dave still had to come out. Dave was very professional and courteous. He obviously knew what he was doing and even drew out a diagram for me and explained to me in layman's terms what the problem was and how he would fix it. After he completed the job, I taped his card under the kitchen sink so to remind myself who to call next time I need a plumber.

Have used Mr Rooter in the past and was always satisfied with their service and cost. Had them come out to look at a leak under a kitchen sink that turned out to be a loose hose from the dishwasher to the disposal. All that was done was to push the hose back on and tighten the hose clamp. They charged $165 for what couldn't have been more than a 15 minute job to diagnose and fix. After reading other reviews, I have to agree that what they charge (at least for this work) is way out of line. Next time I need a plumber, I will look for a different company.

Great! Called them on a Sunday at noon and they were at my house by 2pm. Called two other plumbers I found on yelp as well and didn't hear back from them until the next day... Plumber was knowledgeable and willing to explain what was going on with our plumbing in depth. We appreciated it. Going to be calling them again if we need a plumber in the future.

If you want to get ripped off, then call them. They tried to convince my wife and then me that they needed to snake 3 drains at $250 a piece for a mind boggling total of $750. It was clearly a clogged main line, and 2 of the drains were in a bathroom that was being remodeled - the plumbing was all new and had not even been used yet. We told them to leave and I picked up a 50' electric sewer snake at cresco for $37 and completed the job in 15 min.

If you want to find a plumber that will try to rip you off, then Mr. Rooter is the company to call. My husband just recently called them to repair a broken main water line in our house. The crack in the pipe was pretty big and water was gushing out in large amounts. So in panic mode, my husband called the first company he could find online that was near our house. So he called Mr. Rooter and they told him that it would cost $540 to fix the broken water pipe and an additional $245 for them to dig up a hole to get to the broken section of the water line. So to save some money we decided to dig the hole ourselves and just pay Mr. Rooter to fix the pipe for us but since it would take some time to dig the hole, they were going to come back the next day to fix the pipe.

But after reading some yelp reviews later on, I saw that many people were complaining how expensive they were and how they love to overcharge people. So I suggested to my husband that we get some more estimates from 5 star Yelp reviewer plumbers. I'm sure glad we did!! We had two other companies come out and take a look at the pipe. One quote we got was for only $240 plus $50 to dig the hole and the other quote we got was for $260 plus $65 to dig. Talk about a difference in price! So we cancelled the Mr. Rooter repair and went with another company.

Mr. Rooter, you guys need to stop trying to rip people off. You''re making all the other honest hard working plumbers out there look bad and because it sets an impression that all plumbers are dishonest when in reality there are some good plumbers that charge a reasonable price for their service. Don't call or even think about using Mr. Rooter. They are extremely overpriced and will try to rip you off. Just read the other yelp reviews on here if you don't believe me.

We called Mr. Rooter for our water line from the house to sidewalk. In the process of fixing our water line THEY broke the power of our Professional Landscaping lights. The lines went threw the area they were working. We called Dave about this problem he sent someone out and he gave us a song and dance that no way he could have done this! The lights were working the night before and not after the work was done. Dave refuses to fix our LIGHTS he does not stand by the work of his employees or his business. We will never use or recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. We were left in the dark......
