MAJOR RIP OFF!

I used their service today. Water was backing up into the shower and toilet. They charged $200 for doing absolutely nothing. Roger, the ""plumber"" who came to my residence, said he couldn't snake the clean out because he could break the toilet. He said he MUST video the pipe and told me it would cost $331. After all that, he said he still couldn't snake the clean out. He said 2 feet of pipe running from under the house to the clean out needed to be replaced and it would cost $995. You can imagine my horror. I advised him that I would get a second opinion, to which he replied that he would ONLY charge me $200 for 1 hours worth of ""work.""

The second opinion I received was from Snappy Rooter. Mike came and snaked the clean out for $95. He was there in 5 mins. Not only fast, but honest. He will replace the pipe for less than half of what this company Mr. Rooter tried to rip me off for.

Used them again for the same issue as before this past week. Had to get a drain cleanout put in which we tried to delay before because of the price. They are very professional. We checked around for prices and they did give us the best price. Awesome company. Quick response. Will use them for all my plumbing needs.

AVOID! They are not as professional. They tried to overcharge me, and they do not provide free estimates.

I was charged over $300 for them to simply snake and camera the pipe in my driveway sewer cleanout.

The company I went with is Affordable Trenchless & Pipe Lining out of Carmichael.
They were professional, affordable, and snaked and camera for FREE. Now that is a free estimate.

Wow, I have no words for Jason's outstanding customer service!! He went above and beyond for us!!!! It was a nightmare for us but he made things smoother. Very experienced and knowledgable. Price is very reasonable even though we called at 11pm.

I, too, called Mr. Rooter randomly. I was sure glad that ADAM came to the rescue. He was very polite, knowledgeable. He came to fix my garbage disposal. Found out that a valve had a leak; therefore, I needed a new faucet as well. He left to get a faucet and finished the job the same day. He also connected me with a company about my leaks and floor boards rising due to water damage. They too came out the same day to give an estimate. A great experience to know that people sometimes do go above and beyond what is expected of them! Thank you, ADAM!!!

50 yr warranty on sewer lines. Use them all the time for all my homes. Ask for adam he has been their the longest. Free cameraing

I have to say that ADAM made what was easily one of the worst experiences I can remember tolerable. That is in it self one hell of an accomplishment.

He arrived at the time he was set to arrive at. He was very courteous, clean, polite, and knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing which is something not a lot of people can claim now days it seems. He kept me in the loop the whole time and asked me if I wanted to see things as he discovered them. I was able to see on the monitor what he found in the pipes that were stopped up. He listened to me and even when I asked the most asinine of questions he answered them to full extent of his knowledge.

It turned out that roots had completely caved in a large section of sewage pipe and it had to be replaced underground. He was unable to do it that same day but promised to come first thing in the morning and get it taken care of with only minimal interruption of service if any. Well when I came home from work he had indeed done the repair and everything has been great since.

I can only speak for my experience with ADAM and for that I will say I highly recommend ADAM for any of your Plumbing Emergency needs. Thank you Adam!

I feel a responsibilty to post this review for my fellow Yelp readers. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I had a blocked sewer line (real bad) I called Mr. Rooter, who sent out a ""plumber"" he could not find my line coming from the city to my house. I was told there will be no charge for them to come out and assess the situation and give me a quote. He couldnt find my line access and said it's probly inaccessable and it will cost 1200+ to have one put in...then had the nerve to charge me a $187.00 diagnostic fee. Called the next day and they apologized saying we shouldn't have been charged and they will send out a real Plumber with 10 years experience. So they did, he gave the same song, couldn't find it and it will be 1200+ to put an access in....I said I will need a second opinion for that amount of money (first when they thought they found the line, to clear it was almost $300). Then he wanted to know what I could afford like these people just throw numbers in the air to get you to bite, (I'm guessing commision?) I said ""I need a second opinion, there has to be an access for it to pass code"", they looked at me like I was crazy.
Finally got him to leave after him trying to get us to pay this astronomical price. I then came to my senses and looked on Yelp. I found Joe at Stilwell plumbing in Elk Grove and he came right out and it took him literally 30 seconds to find the line (I'm not exaggerating). Cost me $100 and it's fixed. Now I don't know about you but that is a whole big deal of difference for my wallet. Be careful friends
