I called Mr Rooter and Richard came out and help me fix a major disaster plumbing water drains, broken clay pipes and complete re-piping of all the gas lines. The service was outstanding and I highly recommend Mr Rooter!

I called Mr. Rooter on 8/22/2022 for service on finding a leak that caused water to rise from under my flooring in several rooms of my house. I called the office at 5:37pm and Santiago the technician arrived at 6:17pm. Very prompt and attentive to my concerns. I had a different company come by on 8/21/2022 and tell me I had a slab leak and it would be $9600 to repair. I was told to turn off my water so the leak wouldn't continue. Santiago was kind and considerate and within 2 minutes of walking in and listening to me explain the problem, he detected where the leak was coming from and fixed it within 5 minutes. It was a cracked/broken thing in my AC unit. I turned my main water back on, and that night the water ceased from accumulating and has been drying since. No more water on my floor. So, to the ""different"" company, it was not a $9600 slab leak repair, it was my AC all along. Times are tough for a lot of us, and the service, respect and compassion I was treated with speaks volumes for this company. I appreciate you so much for helping me during this stressful time of my home flooding. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and will never use any other company.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and this was very frustrating to my wife. We had called a few other companies but they didn't have a guarantee on the price. Armando came out and we explained the situation. He and Brandon?(I'm bad with names) were able to get things going pretty quick. After a couple of tries the clog came out and water was running down the drain again! I really appreciated their professionalism and not giving up. Thank you!

A pipe broke in my yard connecting to my hose line. I was very impressed with this young man, Ray Godinez, who promptly addressed the issue and repaired the line quickly. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I was fortunate that his crew was working at another house on our street and Ray was able to come over and take care of the issue. I will definitely use this company in the future. Thanks Ray for a great job done.

I called to have a main sewer blockage rooted. Ended up paying $1400 to have it 'jet rootered' with high pressure water and have a camera run down the pipe. They informed me that my pipe would eventually collapse due to tree roots an recommended 'sleeving' the line for $13000. Told me to call Fontana city services because the roots were at the 'city Y' and they could not proceed. Fontana city services came out, did the same jet rooter that Mr. Rooter did and determined that the 'city Y' was not to code. The city services techs did a full excavation and replaced the 'Y' in 2 days at no cost to me. Some lawn needs reseeding now but who cares? They also informed me my sewer line was fine and no 'sleeving' was necessary. I suspect I spent $1400 unnecessarily but am happy not to have spent $13000, too! I got the impression this was a common upset tech issue used by rooter companies, so let the buyer beware. Don't be afraid to call your city services first and at least ask. Might have saved me the $1400, too. Needless to say, I am pretty happy to be a Fontana, CA resident! Good luck to you.

This company met all my expectations! Matthew was personable, informative and on time! I found a coupon online and they honored it. Matthew unplugged my sink in record time and did so with no mess in my yard. Thanks Matthew!

Our garage disposal stopped working so I called Mr. Rooter-Matthew Hendry was at my house within an hour and was professional, courteous, and fixed it rather quickly! I will suggest others use this service as we will continue and hope others can experience the great service from Matt too!

My technician was Santiago. He and Gabriel quickly found the problem and Santiago got right to work. It was an all day job. Santiago was professional, polite and took care of business! The problem and solution was explained and shown to me. The repairs were not cheap but I feel it was necessary and done in the best way possible. I appreciate this business and would highly recommend them.

Last night, my tenants called and informed me, the toilets and shower drains were clogged. I called Mr. Rooter and they sent someone out at 7pm and in the rain. At first I thought they were going to charge me an emergency fee, or a fee for just sending someone, but I was told there was no fee. The dispatch center sent Santiago who was more than amazing. Alone and in the dark, he was able to figure out the possible problem; however, because of the rain, he had to come back today. Early the next morning, Santiago returned with Gabriel. They identified the neighbors pipes were the cause of my issue, and the sewer line was connected, to mine. I called Jurupa Valley city sewer company and they also came out. Santiago, along with 3 additional coworkers, and the city sewer company both ended up working together. Within two hours, we were back in services. What I like the most about Santiago and Gabriel was that they were honest. They didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need, and explained the whole process as they came across a problem. They went above and beyond. Thank you again.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could.
My garbage disposal was not working. Called them out and they could not fix the garbage disposal as they said it could NOT be removed. They did snake our drain and we paid for that. As far as the disposal they claimed they would need to CUT OUT our pipes and suggested we just try it ourselves. We agreed and were told by the technician it shouldn't be difficult they just do not want tug to hard and break something. One week goes by and we still have no luck so we called again asked for a different technician. Same two guys show up and again CANNOT remove. They say they will HAVE to cut the pipes. Which we obviously did not want. I ask how much they say 685$! I gasped and said, ""wow! That's a lot more than we were thinking! Let me go talk to my husband,"" (who works from home) as I am starting to talk with my husband. My kids yell saying, ""mommy they need you!"" I come back and magically the garbage disposal is removed. (Which seemed very shady it came off with little effort all of a sudden) They say we got it off! As if it was so difficult but somehow managed to so easily. They sound happy to be able to fix it for us and explain they have a replacement in the back of the van! How convenient! My husband walks out and is so surprised! He goes into how much it will cost now. They say 45$ and he says 45$???? That seems aggressively low? They say ya we just have to replace it with one we already have in the back. Making it seem like a deal because they've been out twice now and are able to replace it finally. My husband proceeds to ask several more times and they assure us, yes it's 45$! We say okay great thank you so much! They do the work FIRST and then ask us to sign and pay. We agree and sign the pad. We were not given a receipt or contract!!! We then notice the absurd amount of 485$$$$ taken out of our account! We call and they say yes the amount to replace a garbage disposal is 485$ even though it was 30 mins that is simply our costs! Finally after much negotiation they refund 125$. Which is probably around where the cost should have originally been.
I ALSO WANTED TO ADD: I've never left a bad review. My husband and I felt very taken advantage of. Based off principal alone. We have five kids one whom we foster. We aren't liars. We don't nickel and dime because we are small business owners ourselves. We did not want free service we even said we'd gladly pay for cost and labor They said garbage disposal is 100$ and labor is hourly. Which again doesn't add to 485$. Which is the problem: they determine pricing different for different people. Which is probably why we got a 125$ refund. The technician was great and personable... He talked about being a first time home buyer and even spoke to my kids. I DID NOT misunderstand the number just like I DID NOT misunderstand the conversations. Regardless it's a matter of my version of truth to theirs. Ultimately we did sign without documentation. We genuinely thought it was an honest mistake.
We tried to reconcile it. We just wouldn't be want any one else to receive what you think to be honest service and be surprised later. DONT USE THEM! Our work was done BEFORE we signed anything or WE WOULD HAVE NEVER AGREED TO PAY THAT COST and we would have not had the work done in the first place!
There are other people this happened to! Where they add a zero to your total! We did pay and did not stop payment. I think most people expect shady things from electricians, plumbers, and mechanics. Turns out this Mr. Rooter is one you should AVOID! My next complaint will be the BBB!
