Duck started his own plumbing business, adopting Mr. Rooter. After discussions between Duck and Don Neighborly, The Neighborly Group acquired Mr. Rooter Plumbing in 1989. Although Duck transferred the rights to the business and original franchises, he held on to his shop location in Oklahoma City. David Duck remains a franchise owner today.

Alex is happily married, has 3 children, and lives in Edinburg. Became part of the Mr. Rooter team in 2021 and brings 9 years of plumbing experience.
