Duck launched his own plumbing business, taking on Mr. Rooter. After negotiations between Duck and Don Neighborly, The Neighborly Group purchased Mr. Rooter Plumbing in 1989. Although Duck sold the rights to the business and original franchises, he held on to his shop location in Oklahoma City. David Duck continues to be a franchise owner today.

Alex is in a marriage, has a trio of children, and makes his home in Edinburg, Texas. He joined the Mr. Rooter team in 2021 and brings nearly a decade of plumbing experience.
