Mr. Rooter Plumbing prices are sky high. Called to have s leaky pipe fixed. Not complicated. Price was twice the next highest estimate I received. Plumber was to come same day i called but do to emergencies arrived the next day. I was told i would get a call before arrival but this did not happen. Unless you're prepared to pay what is probably the highest priority e in the area....avoid!! I

A friend of mine recently bought her first home. She came to the US from China approximately 12 years ago with very little. She has worked hard and long hours to legitimately save up enough for a very modest home. Recently she was experiencing a back up in her main sewer line. Her son called Mr. Rooter out of Bow NH. The first thing they did was run camera down the pipe. Actually that is all they did. $430 and they left. For those fortunate enough not to have needed a rooter service, running a camera or scoping is generally reserved for troubleshooting if snaking/rootering is not effective or problematic or there is indication of other potential issues; it also tends to be a more expensive service. I thought this seemed odd and maybe there was a miscommunication; so with her permission I called them on her behalf to better understand the situation and see if there was more to it. The woman on the phone refused to communicate with me. I was definitely lead to believe that they ""up sold"" an unknowing youth on scoping the line instead of snaking it and clearing the drain.? Very odd and very expensive with no results. Sad.

Greedy!!! I paid $505.82 for a small valve and 1.2 hours of labor for a leaky washing machine connection. That's over $400/hr for labor! Crazy!! To put it in to perspective, I just called another company to come out and fix my boiler. The technician was here for 2 hours and I got a lot of new parts. The price was $270.00. Very reasonable. I actually got a real receipt too with the services and parts broken down. Mr. Rooter's receipt just had the word ""service"" and then the $505.82. I get that plumbers are expensive and companies need to make profits but totally screwing customers only leads to bad reviews. Mr. Rooter is a rip off! They are greedy and price gouge. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Had invasive roots within my sewer line. My regular sewer tech was unable to snake it out. I had visions of a backhoe digging up my landscaped front yard.

I spoke with Keith at Mr Rooter. He sent out two Techs, Eugene and Ryan, to my house. They utilized a hydro-jet that turned my root-infested 100' pipe into a squeaky clean sewer line. I couldn't be happier. Sure, it was a little pricey, but I knew the amount up front. It was well worth it.

My grandmother called Mr Rooter to have her clogged toilet fixed. My grandfather is handicapped and this was the first floor toilet that was clogged so it was an emergency. My grandmother spoke to Linda, who indicated that they were busy but might be able to get my grandmother in later. After not hearing from them, my grandmother called back a few hours later and reached Linda again. Linda was EXTREMELY rude, and with attitude told her ""I told you this morning we could not get you in. Nothing has changed."" A few hours later, I called Mr Rooter back to see if there were any cancellations. I talked to Kimberly who said she would call me back within a half hour with an ETA. Within 10 minutes of hanging up with Kimberly, I received a call back from Linda who (again with attitude) informed me that she spoke with my grandparents multiple times earlier and would not be sending anyone to their house (contradicting what Kimberly had said). We called DrainKing and had someone to the house within 45 minutes. I would NOT recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone and if you do decide to use it, I encourage you to speak with anyone but Linda who clearly has no manners and does not have any compassion for elderly and handicapped people in an emergency.

Hired them (from Londonderry) to snake and clean out a house drain from my sump pump. They were accomodating enough to schedule a quick appointment. However, they told me the tech would be there between 8am and noon. Didn't get a call till 1:30p and were there at 2p. Told them originally I wouldn't be there but my tenant would be and gave them his number. My tenant was there all morning but stepped out shortly and returned, but company never called him. He was close by and could have returned in time. They charged me a $99 ""dispatch"" fee! They say their arrival times are ""just estimates"". VERY poor service. Seems they're more interested in getting your money than providing customer service.

We had a residential city sewer line back up.. the service fee to show up was an acceptable charge. The fee for the clean out was $480.00. A little steep I figured, but I needed the job done. After the clean out a camera was sent down the line. A root ball was identified and instead of cleaning it out Immeadiately we learned that it would cost another $1057.00 to have the line hydro-scrubbed involving a second visit. I think not.

Be aware that although they will get the job done and our service man was professional and polite... this type of secret pricing will cost you dearly.

It pays to do some homework and spend time on the phone shopping around!!!

The service man was polite, on time and helpful until he broke a pipe while consulting on my sump pump system. He repaired the damage he did ""That's not good"" he said. But then he charged me for the repairs necessitated by his mistake. I am not happy with that.

I've used Mr. Rooter out of Manchester NH twice now and both times they have been EXCELLENT. Eric is absolutely terrific. They are polite, courteous and 100% professional. Their work is impeccable, plus they go to incredible lengths to make sure not to make a mess (including wearing booties while in the house) and completely cleaning up any small mess that is necessarily made during plumbing installations. Another outfit (that was suggested by Home Depot) quoted me over $1,000 more than Mr. Rooter charged me. I am thrilled that I turned down the other company and called Mr. Rooter again. If I have any plumbing needs in the future, I will be calling them again. Grade: A+
