Great work on a constantly freezing pipe that burst, they came out, talked out a solution and made it happen in a harsh setting.
Cindy T.Called to get a estimate they charged me 50 dollars to come give a estimate. They said they could get the job started quickly. I was looking to have a new bathroom installed and needed just the lines to existing ones in basement. They didn't give me a estimate. The guy called me told me 250.00 dollars a hour and it would take 3 days. Plus 1500.00 in materials. Total 7,500 dollars. Someone else came out and will do the job for 1800.00.
Thank you for taking my 50.00 dollars.
Beware!
Daniel M.I feel the price was to high. I check with another plumbing company. They were 95.00 less. 412.50 to to camera a drain, an unclog a drain. Total 1.5 hours. Was told they would be here between 10-2. They showed up at 230pm. The plumber was awesome, the company not happy
I had an appointment with the Bow NH location to go to a home of a 90 year old woman. This was for a flush problem and my contractor suggested I ask for a diagnostic camera. I was quoted $437.50 and offered a one time coupon of $50 - so $387.50 for a two hour minimum diagnostic camera service. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call from a woman from Mr. Rooter. We confirmed the time and she said, by the way, if the tech has to remove and reset the toilet, it will be $500. I asked her if that was the total price for the camera and reset and she could not answer me. So I asked again, will the price be: $387.50 for the camera and an additional $500 for the toilet removal/reset?? She could not answer. Being that the quote to just go there could potentially be either $500 or $887.50, I wanted some clarity! Plus she wanted my credit card to secure the appointment! Very deceptive and evasive practices here. Steer clear of them. I would hate to imagine how much it would cost if they had to do additional service!
Craig C.The callback was immediate and Kieth was extremely friendly. However, he poo-pooed the problem and didnt listen to a thing I had to say, then said ""typically we send our guys out to take a look and they give you a price"". Which tells me that they dont care about the size of the project all they care about is that you commit. Well, they sent 2 guys out and gave me a price alright, 348$ to change and seal and an 1/4"" 8$ piece of pvc tail adapter to the kitchen sink. They were there for 45 mins looking for the correct fitting then said, ""i might have to go to our wear house to get the correct part"" (20 mins of which they spent in their truck). They came back did the work (8 mins) and then demanded a payment before they left. When i said, ""do you mean youll send me an invoice breaking down what you did"", Shane said, no you mean a receipt?"" Bullshit!!!!
Mr. Rooter Plumbing prices are sky high. Called to have s leaky pipe fixed. Not complicated. Price was twice the next highest estimate I received. Plumber was to come same day i called but do to emergencies arrived the next day. I was told i would get a call before arrival but this did not happen. Unless you're prepared to pay what is probably the highest priority e in the area....avoid!! I
Steven B.I have used Mr. Rooter Plumbing a few times, they are professional, do a great job, do not leave a mess, up front on costs and work times before they start work, can be flexible with schedule and come quick if an emergency,
A friend of mine recently bought her first home. She came to the US from China approximately 12 years ago with very little. She has worked hard and long hours to legitimately save up enough for a very modest home. Recently she was experiencing a back up in her main sewer line. Her son called Mr. Rooter out of Bow NH. The first thing they did was run camera down the pipe. Actually that is all they did. $430 and they left. For those fortunate enough not to have needed a rooter service, running a camera or scoping is generally reserved for troubleshooting if snaking/rootering is not effective or problematic or there is indication of other potential issues; it also tends to be a more expensive service. I thought this seemed odd and maybe there was a miscommunication; so with her permission I called them on her behalf to better understand the situation and see if there was more to it. The woman on the phone refused to communicate with me. I was definitely lead to believe that they ""up sold"" an unknowing youth on scoping the line instead of snaking it and clearing the drain.? Very odd and very expensive with no results. Sad.
Daniel M.Greedy!!! I paid $505.82 for a small valve and 1.2 hours of labor for a leaky washing machine connection. That's over $400/hr for labor! Crazy!! To put it in to perspective, I just called another company to come out and fix my boiler. The technician was here for 2 hours and I got a lot of new parts. The price was $270.00. Very reasonable. I actually got a real receipt too with the services and parts broken down. Mr. Rooter's receipt just had the word ""service"" and then the $505.82. I get that plumbers are expensive and companies need to make profits but totally screwing customers only leads to bad reviews. Mr. Rooter is a rip off! They are greedy and price gouge. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Dan M.Had invasive roots within my sewer line. My regular sewer tech was unable to snake it out. I had visions of a backhoe digging up my landscaped front yard.

I spoke with Keith at Mr Rooter. He sent out two Techs, Eugene and Ryan, to my house. They utilized a hydro-jet that turned my root-infested 100' pipe into a squeaky clean sewer line. I couldn't be happier. Sure, it was a little pricey, but I knew the amount up front. It was well worth it.
