This plumber came out and diagnosed that I had a power surge. I have no evidence of such. I hold them liable for me not getting my appliance fixed because of this. Also my receipt does not match his comment to my home warranty. I will never use this company again.

Bunch of crooks. Agree to pay a price.over the phone and they come to install and price doubles after its installed. They want to take it out after your refuse to pay the new price. Forced to pay the inflated price and despute with warranty company. Stay far away

They are a bunch of scam artists. Literally stole my money. They never came back to fix the problem after they said they were looking for the part. They never looked for the part. I know this because they would never give me the information for the part after calling multiple times and then wanted to install an entire new shower system which was $600. Do not use them. I already paid them $300 just to turn off the valve. They will steal your money. Lee Vargas was the associate and would not return phone calls.

Fast talking con artists! American Home Shield replacing the water heater, but Mr. Rooter wants me to pay $200 for water line reroute (has flex lines) $125 for gas line reroute ( has flex lines) $100 for new pan ($35 anywhere) $195 for League City permit ($35-$50 Tops) This company rips people off. Depending on the outcome and renegotiated costs I may change this.

I have dealt with them & my AHS warranty. I have had several recalls and still don't have anything fixed. The tech standard answer is its old and needs replace and AHS won't cover but leaves me an estimate and tells me to call direct. Then I call for a recall which AHS gave me dispatch numbers & when I called for appointment the office staff said no that was not approved. Tech told us one thing & AHS different. I asked for documentation & office staff told me they could send me the inv he already left me. I have never dealt with such incompetent and unprofessional people in my life! I asked for a supervisor and the lady on the phone claimed to be the office supervisor and she informed me that she didn't know what I was looking at but AHS had recalled my calls for service and they were not authorized to come back out. She informed me she was calling AHS and telling them to transfer me they did not want to service our home because I have called the office 10 times in 3 days!!!! over exaggerated on that one!!

This company came (after a 3 day wait for an appointment) when I called American Home Shield because I had what turned out to be a pretty nasty drain clog under my washing machine drain.

But, these guys walked in my house, looked at the drain, and didn't even try to snake it, they simply said, we have to install a clear out near the washing machine drain, $900, not covered by our warranty, and then we can start clearing out the drain for an additional $500. But you have old pipes so we may have to fix that. At this point I stopped listening and told them to send me a quote, and I sent them away. Again, they didn't even try to snake any of the easily accessible locations in my house.

I called a company rated at the top of Angie's List near me, they came an hour later. They snaked for 2 hours with small machines, came back the next day with a bigger machine, and I'm back to full drain capacity for less than $600.

Google Mr. Rooter for nationwide horror stories. I knew if I let them start working, soon enough they'd be tearing up my house for tens of thousands of dollars. The technician was polite, but I guess their business model is to scam unsuspecting customers desperate to get their water flowing again.

Horrible service. I had to interact with these guys through my home warranty. The plumber told me something and then told something totally different to the home warranty company. I tried to clarify and then the guy lied again.
Stay away! If they are dishonest about something so simple imagine how they are on more complicated matters!

They came from home warranty company, and fist thing is to collect the service fee, then told me that he can't fix the faucet because it looked old and he couldn't unscrew the cover so it is considered "pre-existing condition", but if we just hire him directly he could fix for me under an hourly rate fee not go through the warranty company, so after $75 I still have a leaking faucet.
they are hired by the home warranty company to lie to us and get paid for doing absolutely nothing.

I am giving 2 stars because I don't even know how their work is. I called their 24/7 Emergency Service on a Sunday and never received a call back. It's after 4pm on Monday and still nothing. I'm guessing the "24/7 Emergency Service" isn't actually 24/7.
