Richard M.We have a 1963 brick ranch with cast iron pipes. The house has outlived the pipes. Rust and years of build up have clogged the pipes. Curtis McMillan on two separate occasions has now replaced 80% of the pipe. It's a big project we've been addressing over the last few years. Curtis is a master plumber. Dedicated, diligent great customer service. Super nice guy - he's part of our family. I know that the other plumbers call him for advice and they should. With Curtis on their team, Mr. Rooter is my go-to for anything plumbing. Highly recommended!
Sal A.I really wish you could put NO STARS to a company like Septic Blue. Contracted with Septic Blue or whatever company name they go by.. Georgia Waste Management dba. Septic Blue , Abms inc dba. Mr Rooter Plumbing 2340 Pendley Rd. Cumming Ga. Wholly Owned Family Business...770-640-1125. Called them to help with a problem on New Years Eve, which they did help me correct. Unfortunately, they only pumped half the tank. Having always been services with a Sewer, this was our first home with a Septic System . I later learned that there are generally 2 openings in a system that need to be pumped to do the job correctly. When I called them to express this problem 3 months later that only half the job was performed for nearly $900, they said the owner would get back to me. Well 2 calls later I am still waiting back from these people. This is a company that when they initially quote you a price, you know you will be getting screwed. Call another place, these guys are only there to up charge you and probably will not do the correct job. Don't be fooled by the Family Business line.
***BEWARE*** I found a website for """"Just Water Heaters"""" (http://www.justwaterheatersatlanta.com) that said they had a deal for a water heater installed for $899. I couldn't find anything about this company so I decided to call. It was actually Mr. Rooter and they informed that the price is determined by the technicians since they work on commission and it would cost me $29.95 just to find out what the actual cost would be. I read Google reviews that said it was a bait and switch but needed to find out for myself. Seems very shady to me and I will find someone a little more reputable.
Rick H.Avoid at all costs This company has jerked us around for a week trying to get a problem fixed. Don't believe their line about """"We'll call if we'll be late!"""" because it's total horse manure. We have waited and waited and waited! We call the office, and they promise to call us and don't. Even spoke to the office manager, Carol, and she just spun more lies. They are apparently understaffed and over-scheduled. Sadly, we're held hostage because the job is half-done and we'd lose even MORE time if we switch to another plumber. Will never call these people again!
***SCAM** Customer beware!! I wish I could give zero stars. I called Mr. Rooter plumbing to have my septic tank pumped. A gentleman came out and after roughly 20 minutes, stated he was unable to locate my septic and would need to charge us $700 to do """"experimental"""" digging in my yard to locate me tank. I asked him if it would be best for me to contact the country office to see if they have a blueprint of where its located. He responded that they wouldn't know the location. I declined the work because I wanted to get a 2nd opinion. The next day I had another septic company come out and within minutes, the gentleman explained to be that anyone with knowledge of septic tanks would know that your property does not have a septic tank and runs off sewage. He informed me that I don't have any issues with my sewage being backed up. It was my toilet. Although they charged a fee to come out just to tell me that. Their fee was much less than the quoted amount from Mr. Rooter would have charged me to dig up my yard to try and locate a non-existent tank.
They don't deserve a star at all. For our second service request, the technician was a no-show. I called to follow up and never ever received a call back. Since our second request was just a kitchen sink not draining, I'm assuming they'll only make an effort to service you if your job is going to bring in $,$$$ like our first service request. Even then they still showed up super late (dinner time!) and still lacked responsive communication.
Worst service, never arrived, wasted the entire day, Also does not have emergency service as claimed on website.
Horribly overpriced. They charged me over $700 to swap out a kitchen sink and replace valves. Avoid!!!
We called and scheduled for a Saturday, the tech was rerouted and he was late not to his fault as the staff in home office were very rude, argumentative, by the time Tech showed up we made up our mind not to even consider this company for our big project of whole house re-pipe. The tech was very apologetic and stated he will have the owner contact us, that never happened. There are many licensed plumber who run a small operation and truly love to earn your business.
Cheryl B.No show after scheduling an appointment for sometime between 11:00am - 2pm. They called approx. 11:15 a.m. to say would arrive at tail end of appointment window, """"close to 1:00pm"""" but did not show then nor did they call call by end of 4 hour window at 2:00 pm. An hour after the end of the window I called Mr. Rooter. They then told me it would be another hour -- 4:00pm -- but I was assured the technician would arrive by 4pm. I just got off the phone (it is now 4:30p.m.) and they tell me the tech will not make it today unless I want to wait until after 6:00pm. I do not. They offer (now) to schedule for tomorrow afternoon between noon and 4:00pm. NO THANKS. I've used them before and it was a longer wait than the appointment window then as well but they at least did arrive the same day. That was simply to change fixtures so I was annoyed but not left in a bind. This time I have a leak and need this dealt with by someone I can trust. That would not be Mr. Rooter.
