We called Mr. Rooter at 6 am. They said they'd be out between 11-2. They finally made it at 3:35 but they came equipped only with a 50 ft snake. We had already snaked all of the drains so that was of no help. They said they would need to pressurize the line to clear the clog but they didn't have the tools necessary to do the job so after waiting all day long we got no remedy. Luckily, we were able to find a good plumber with the proper tools to come out on short notice which is how we got back in business. I would not recommend Mr. Rooter to my worst enemy.

These guys are absolutely incredible. My wife and I were in a crunch when our hot water heater stopped working. Mr Rooter was very responsive and had two plumbers, John and Brian, out to our house the next day. When they concluded that the previous tank was irreparable, they truly differentiated themselves by going the extra mile to ensure they could get to the warehouse and get us a new heater before the day ended. They then stayed extra to ensure it was installed that day. We greatly appreciate their service and cannot recommend Mr Rooter enough!

I had another leak develop on my water line. This time, the lake was located under my driveway. I called Marc from Mr Rooter again. Given the location and that I had previously semi water line, mark recommended that it would be better to run a new complete water line instead of having to dig into the driveway just to patch that one area of the old one. And that way, it would save from having to tear up the driveway and then have to have it patched, and overall, with all the work done. It would not be much more expensive than the repair. In addition, it would give me a brand new water line that would not keep having leaks. I appreciate Marc's honesty, and the work that he and his team did was great. They arrived on time and completed all the work in just a few hours.

My kitchen sink was not draining. They corrected the problem within two hours. I am so happy that I contacted Mr. Rooter Plumbing. The company sent two very experienced Plumbers (Brian and John). They were very professional and knowledgeable. They represented their company very well. They knew exactly what to do and they also gave out information on how to keep the sink from repeating the problem--Mr. Rooter has great Staff/Associates. I will call them again in the future. Again, a Great Company.

Luke cleared our sewer line when things started backing up. Tree roots had grown into and burst the pipes. He was quick and professional. Thanks, Luke!

Wish I could give them a zero...... This event took place in November of 2022.... Long but read it and save yourselves! Mr. Rooter was called (using the mrrooteratl.com website number) as our hot water heater was making unknown popping noises and not coming from the tank relief valve. Between the time of making the appt and when the Mr. Rooter tech showed up, the popping noises had stopped but the hot water started going lukewarm after running for 2-4 minutes. When the Mr. Rooter tech arrived, I explained the problem and the recent changes in symptoms since making the appointment. I explained to the tech we have never had an issue with this the entire year and a half we have lived here no matter how much water we used in a day. Additionally, the kitchen floor had started feeling warm. That tech barely looked at hot water heater (maybe for 2 minutes), didn't look to see how old it was, dismissed the hot feeling of floor, and didn't test anything. In fact, I actually had to ask him to check water in showers etc. The Mr. Rooter tech's conclusion was the system needed to be flushed and it should be done yearly. I asked if that would account for the hot water going out after 2-4 minutes and the floor being hot. He just said it was necessary to flush today. He flushed it (took 20 minutes) and charged $335 (Mr. Rooter charges $380 for flushing, he gave me $45 off because he """"fixed the handle in bath upstairs for free""""). I asked him if this would fix it and what to do if it doesn't, with his response being he wouldn't know but maybe that meant hot water had to be replaced and he left. Unfortunately, the low hot water supply remained unchanged and the kitchen floor remained warm/hot. After this visit, we called Mr. Rooter to get some money back because we had given the cans of food to get $75 discount that they had guaranteed. Also, we wanted them to send another tech back out to find/fix for our problem for free because we weren't satisfied with the first tech's lack of investigating/identifying the issue. So Mr. Rooter then sent a different tech out a few days later and he barely looked at hot water heater and plumbing either. He just said you would need a new hot water heater. We told the Mr. Rooter tech that he hadn't done any investigation into our problem at all and we needed either more information or all our money back. After the second tech left, we called them several times that week to get money back/better service. We got plenty of lip service from their regional manager, but that was it. They eventually refunded the $75 discount for the cans of food but would not even listen about refunding the rest of our money even though they had not fixed our problem. We were still out $260, and our hot water problem clearly not fixed. Mr. Rooter blatantly ripped us off and didn't care one whit that they had. I will next be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in addition to sharing this review here. The good news to this whole mess is that when we contacted another plumbing company, (I won't list their name here) their tech immediately (within five minutes) identified a leaking hot water pipe under the kitchen floor (hence the warm kitchen floor - we live on a slab). The repairs were very expensive, but we can't thank the other company enough for their professionalism in explaining the repair options and then how well they did the repairs.

Terrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment on Wednesday for Friday. I asked about the price for getting a county mandated form signed for the water company and was told a manager would call me back. No one called so I followed up on Friday morning to be told they couldn't give a quote until I had paid the $50 service fee. I was also told that there was no record of my appointment and left on hold for an inordinate amount of time. Every other plumbing company I have called knew exactly what I was asking about and has provided a quote since it is a standard service required county-wide. Bad management means poor quality service - Not taking a chance on a bad plumber so they can make their money in service fees.

Luke not only came on time, but he actually arrived early. He cleaned the drain stop, the pipes, he replaced the trap, checked for leaks, checked the entire area to ensure it was fixed, and then poured a cap full of some special Total Drain product to seal the deal. Excellent service, incredibly nice and personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and transparent. He showed us everything he pulled out of our yucky drain (it's always the wife's fault lol). Thanks for the excellent service. Would not hesitate to call and ask for Luke again.

During the 5-minute service call, the plumber, David, initially reported that the bath tub drain caused the water leak, then quickly changed it to an issue with the shower system when I stated it only leaks during showers. He did not bring any equipment to detect the water leak and promised to email the quote, but never followed up or emailed the quote. Bad experience.

RIP OFF, SO RUDE, STAY AWAY!! I had to call multiple times a week FOUR WEEKS STRAIGHT to finally get the paperwork I needed for my water heater warranty, which was 15 WEEKS AFTER MY SERVICE. The customer service reps were nice and tried to help, but only a manager had the authority to do what I needed. Tim Rice, the manager I eventually spoke to, was so disrespectful of my time and the fact that I was out thousands of dollars, with the reimbursement process hinging on his help. When I asked for specifics on my invoice, he lazily replied with a quick answer that did not include several items on the invoice that required explanation. When I asked for a receipt of purchase of my water heater, he told me it would be """"too hard to track down."""" When I told him my water heater company needed it and I had been calling for four weeks to get one, he said """"WOW,"""" in a sarcastic, misogynistic, rude tone. My water heater company also told me I had been significantly overcharged for the replacement, too. TLDR; overcharged, treated terribly. I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.
