On a Saturday morning my 88 year old parents had a clogged toilet. Our normal plumber wasn't opened. I contacted Mr Rooter. Isaac came out to my parents house, I met him there, and he charged $438.29 to remove the toilet and "fix" the clog. He then left an estimate for $23,357.87 to change the plumbing from cast iron to PVC, should we want to do that.
Ten days later the clog returned. I asked Mr Rooter to return and they don't warranty their work. Our plumber came out and found that the "band aid" Isaac did for $439.29 did nothing because the problem was elsewhere in the plumbing.
I paid our plumber $1625.00 for an actual repair.
At no time did Isaac indicate that what we were paying for was a $439.29 band aid and he tried to up sell the change to PVC as a suggestion, not a need. Mind you, he said holes would need to be made in the house for all of this.
I've ask for a refund of the $439.29 to which Leah McGaughy replies quite rudely that they would not give my 88 year old parents.
The absolute worst scam of a plumbing company ever. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Terrible service. Came to auger my septic line. They didn't have a gasket for the clean out door. Left it leaking, and STILL clogged. Charged me almost $400 and told me another $1000 Would do it. A 25 foot pipe with no obstructions. Better business Bureau is next since they won't return my calls.

The technician walked in said he wasn't doing the job gave no reason cussed and my wife and I. I asked to have them wait while I called the manager he said the numbers on the van and left. I've never been treated so poorly by someone in my life that was coming to preform a job that we requested. The man needs to be fired and this company now I realize why they have 1 Star they're assholes

I am in Raleigh North Carolina and use the Apex Mr. Rooter to unclog (snake) a bath tub drain with hair blocking the water flow. Sure enough they arrived on time and were willing to do the work. But they quoted an outrageous $296.00 for the job. Under the circumstances I was compelled to get them to do the work. This charge is excessive and outrageous in our area and I will not recommend their services. I selected them over the name-brand company because I wanted to extend a helping hand to a local franchise!!

If i could leave a 0 star review i would. Frederick Colorado office, closest office to Greeley. They will swindle you out of every dime they can and when they cannot get a penny from you they will try and put a lien on your home.
We had a sewer backup in our home on Memorial day. We had you guys come out and to find out our sewer line was broke. We paid you guys $9,033.25 out of pocket to get it fixed. The guy who came out to our house and talked to us suggested we have the other line jetted. We decided to do that, well the guy who jetted it said that line needed to be repaired even though we never had a problem with that line.
Long story short on the rest. Jacob from Mr. Rooter here in Colorado keeps calling and texting about payment. He calls me and my wife today 7/1/19 and tell us they are going to put a lien on our home unless the other $5,300 is paid today.
The toilet in the basement hasn't been on since memorial day, there are tools those guys left just laying in our backyard, pile of plywood, cement pieces laying in our backyard, the grass was torn up from that bobcat they brought in to dig up when they drove on the grass instead of the plywood.
With the way we have been treated and threatened with collection and a lien AFTER insurance has already talked to them. We shouldn't owe another dime.

Definitely get a second opinion. After supposedly repairing my laundry line by tunneling under my slab to replace cast iron pipes in 2017 for over $8000 it backed up again. They came out and supposedly unclogged it for $200. The first time I used it a few days later, it backed up, and they said it would be another $200 to come out again even though obviously they had not unclogged it. They said my kitchen line that connects to the laundry line needs replacing by tunneling g under the slab 30 feet for $16,000. That was all they could do.
I had another plumber come out, and he actually unclogged it. He snaked a camera 24 feet through the kitchen line and said that the pipes do not need replacing. He also said that if tunneling 30 ft under the slab were needed at this time, it would be $11,000. He further said that tunneling should always be the last option, not the first as it apparently is with Mr. Rooter.
Definitely get a second or even third recommendation before falling for their fear tactics. I'm glad I did.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. Im disgusted with this company, not only lied to me about having a leakage but also try to take $5500 from us. They ended up stealing only $1100 for doing absolutely nothing except shutting off the water.

Your employees CHAD and MIKE from your temple Tx office are very professional and knowledgeable. My son had them at his home for a problem and they detected the area of concern.
The problem began with the sub contractor hired to dig a tunnel under my sons home. The day they started the were to show up at 0800 they did not show up until 1100 and only had 2 people to work because the said they are coming from Dallas and that all they sent. Now coordinations were set up with this contractor to began the job and told my son the price that would be charged. A 2 day job too 3 days. Now it come for this contractor to fill in the tunnel, first additional money was added to the bill due to rocks they found during the dig. Strange I guess we were not to have rocks especially in Texas. Now 5 days after city inspectors gave ok to fill in the tunnel. They were to come and finish on Saturday so my son cleared his schedule to be home on Friday and Saturday and the contractor did not show to complete there job. My question is who determines who time is more important the home owners or the contractor. The contractor charge the home owners can the home owners charge Mr rooter and their contractor for their time waiting for the job to be completed???????? 254-368-8424. The supervisor named SHARLENE needs to remember the customer is always right not her unprofessional rude attitude!!!!!

I was thoroughly happy with the service I was given. They retrieved a ring for me with complete care. I am completely delighted with their services and I will recommend Rooters to anyone and everyone. From the beginning to the end I was taken care of.

I called Mr. Rooter because the toilet in my house was backed and the second toilet was removed due to a remodel. They showed up fast, were very nice and professional and told me they needed to dig up the cement around both of the toilets in my house to access the pipes to unclog the tree roots growing in them. They gave me an estimate of $5000 which was a whole lot of money but that was a desperate situation so I agreed to it. They did unclog the toilets by pulling out the tree roots and they installed new flanges on both toilet and repaired the one that was being used. They did not dig up cement, access pipes or pour new cement. However they sure charged me $5000. Not ethical treatment. I
