I'm so disappointed. Mr. Fix It advertises all over its website and on Yelp that it charges $69.99 for ANY CLOGGED drain. My shower drain is clogged. I would definitely put that in the ""any drain"" category. Brian came out this afternoon and told me that he would only charge the $69.99 for a clean out drain. For my shower clog, he would charge more than twice that. I won't work with a business that does false advertising to get in the door. That's dishonest.

2/21/19 I'm responding to your response Bryan. I don't believe I was rude, especially given the circumstances. I was angry and told you to leave because I wouldn't pay the higher amount. I actually didn't think the cost you quoted was necessarily too high snd if your advertisement didn't promise $69.99 for ANY CLOGGED DRAIN, I would have gladly paid it. It was the false advertising that I wouldn't tolerate. I see now that you have updated your ad to say ""with proper access."" That's good.

We called Brian in for what we thought was a basic drain clog. After thorough assessment using snakes and cameras he found we had issues in 2 different underground pipes. He got one fixed on the spot, and for the other we scheduled for following date as he needed to get the backyard dug up under better weather conditions. He was prompt, responsive and got the job done swiftly. I definitely recommend!

I've hired Bryant from Mr. Fixit a number of times over the years and always had a positive experience. His fixes have lasted and his rates are reasonable for a plumber in the Bay Area. Yesterday (a rainy Sunday), a tenant had a backing-up toilet and another company (Mr. Rooter) wanted to charge me $750 to snake it and $350 to replace the wax seal if necessary. I'm so glad I waited till Mr. Fix-It, Bryant, could come on Monday. He charged $250 to snake the toilet so I saved $500! (and he said if he had had to replace the wax seal he would have charged $175 for that - half the price of the other guys.) In addition, he showed up when he said he would, and is a nice guy. Thanks so much, Bryant!

Mr. Fix it Plumbing were great and friendly. They are always on time and very honest with cost and fixing the problem. Always available and they work after hours which is great for individuals that work late. I will definitely keep them as my go to when I have any plumbing issues.

As a property manager, sometimes it's hard to find a reliable and reasonably priced plumber especially in Oakland. Mr. Fix It Right was punctual and professional- he and his team cleared several main lines and cleaned up all the sewage that came with it. I would recommend his services above all- good job!

I've used Bryan twice in the past to snake out my main line at $70. Negative experience this visit as he stated that this time it costs $150 for the same job, as he was practically leaving when I asked him about the drastic increase. He says his website special is for access points at the curb, but it actually says it's for lines with ""proper access"", which mine is, and I even had the cement cover off and the top unscrewed. Also, it was ""proper access"" the two previous visits, but not now suddenly. Ok, so you raised your rates, i get it, and i even agree with it, but he was very rude and unprofessional in first saying that the access has to be on the sidewalk, then trying to grill me on how much I make and if I make the same money as I did 10 years ago. He made a point to say that his low price was to build a clientel. Yup, understandable, but over a 200% increase over the last time less than 2 years ago. It took 10 minutes start to finish and he was very rude and unprofessional. I enjoy paying a good wage for a job well done, but not being disrespected for asking questions. Definitely would not trust him in the future. Prefer to pay more to someone who won't charge based on a loosely based sliding scale.

Requested a quote online and received one quickly. Bryant P. responded with $275.00 to replace a toilet and angle stop valve. I would provide the toilet, wax ring, angle stop, and connecting hose. I called to set up the appointment and whoever answered stated it was Mr. Fix It Right Plumbing, and not with whom I was speaking. I told that he quoted me $275 for the job and repeated it to him he gave his availability for that day and increased his quote by $150 over the phone for the same job.
