Mr Drain is very good and dedicated to helping you. Ed helped me and was very friendly.

We were referred to Mr Drain by a neighbor who had a great experience with them. We developed a leak from our upstairs bathroom that was dripping to the floor below. They gave me a 2 hour window that fit into my schedule and showed up on time. Ed is clean, friendly and professional. He took care of the problem quickly and at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for plumbing and drain work.

After a minor miscommunication, I got a call from the manager. Their eagerness to make it right and communication with me was really going the extra mile and I applaud them for that. While my leak is not repairable. They will get me a quote/bid and offer financing for those who need it.

Asked for a free consultation and they exaggerated issues with our home and fear-mongered away from the use of Home Depot and electric water heater options. I'm no longer interested in their services. For example, they ""tested"" my water pressure and said I had it at 90 PSI and how alarming that is (which sure, if true). I bought a water pressure tester for about $10 at Home Depot and tested the water pressure myself which showed a healthier 70 PSI. I also called the Carmichael Water District & they came out to test the water pressure at guess what, 70 PSI.
Mr. Drain also quoted extremely high compared to other companies for services they wanted to charge us. In the end, I am going to use the SMUD rebate to get a new water heater. That will be about $2k off and this rebate is not income based FYI people. There were many other recommendations I had from neighbors after this incident. I just wanted (originally) to go with plumbers close to me that looked good on the internet.
I just don't think they should attempt to scam young people because they have no clue what jobs we have, analytical skills, that kind of thing... family, neighbors, and of course internet can help you make an informed decision despite not being a plumber. Even our neighbor next door thought their quotes were outrageous & I also felt uncomfortable with all the income-based questions they asked me. It just felt like they were fishing for money and not actually here to help. They should have focused on the issue at hand and explained what they really saw.
I'm shopping around like a good homeowner should. With all the good reviews here, I can only assume they are paid or they chose me as one of the customers to scam... young, female, POC, they were short on funds that day... who knows why. I'm not happy with them though. That's not a kind business.

UPDATE: Please don't call my husband again and don't make your wife speak for you. You know what you did and I will report to the appropriate channels. Thank you.

Excellent Service today! Ed came out on an emergency call since we had water coming through our ceiling due to a washing machine issue. We were not sure if we had a washing machine problem or a clogged drain problem. Ed arrived, slipped on shoe protectors and quickly assessed the situation. He tested the drain and determined that indeed it is a washing machine problem, not a plumbing issue. NO CHARGE for the service call. What a wonderful surprise. Honesty and great service is a hard combination to beat. So glad we called Mr. Drain. :-)

Mr. Drain was great! Arrived quickly to fix our garbage disposal. Definitely recommend!

Very responsive company. Ben came quickly, reviewed the problem and gave and quoted a price. Trever and Jonathan arrived the next morning to clear the landscape drains on our property. The two of them had their work cut out for them because much of it required digging in river rock. Ben's estimate was 2 days work. Trever and Jonathan completed it in 1.5 days. Everything was cleaned up and put back where it belonged.
This was a big job that I could not do myself. I considered the price to be fair.
The quality of work was excellent. I had a minor quibble over the final bill, but that was resolved quickly with a phone call.

I found myself in emergency situation..Greg co-owner came to the rescue on Sunday!
My house needed repiping..
Mr.Drain company did awesome job!
Everyone is very helpful and professional!
Special thanks to Collin, who went out of his way to help!
I highly recommend Mr.Drain!

Put out a project on yelp and they were first. Massive waste of time. For first appointment they give me 2 hour window. Guy bothers to call me 15 mins after I've been sitting around for 2 hours, to say he'll be around in another 45 minutes. That won't work so we reschedule first thing Friday. Guess what, according to pattern, I've been sitting around waiting an hour they call me to tell me they can't make it on time this day either. If you've had much work done on your house you know this type. Stay away from them you don't want them near your house or your wallet.

Deceptive pricing! Mr Drain gave me an estimate for $5,200 for approximately 48 man hours of work. The estimator said ""I can guarantee that section of pipe is totally collapsed and needs to be replaced"". The section was intact with no exterior damage.
The final repair is okay. There is still an obstruction but the water does flow to drain. The final cost for an okay repair that was estimated to take 48 man hours took 14 man hours. I was still billed $5,200. That is more than $350 dollars per hour.
Bumping this up from one star to two stars. The estimator was wrong on his estimate but the drain does work now.
