Worst experience with a service provider of any kind ever. Awful. Fred arrived, and said he could fix my residential boiler. He played with it, said there was a problem, and needed a part. That was on a Thursday. I called every day after that for a week. No Fred. No response. A week later Fred says he cannot fix it. They could not have been more disrespectful and unprofessional. Seek help elsewhere, any where else but from Morrow & Holman. Simply awful.

February 2020 Review of Morrow & Holman Plumbing service: POOR.

Called and scheduled an appointment with Joan to have what looked like a minor slab leak detected/ repair quoted for our single family home in South Pasadena, CA. Their plumber never showed up and never called to communicate they couldn't make it out either.

I called their office back later that day, and they confirmed my contact information and that my appointment was, in fact, on the books. But, they said that they got super busy and couldn't make it out. So, they re-scheduled the appointment again for the next day morning, but again the next day morning, no one showed up. And, again no one called me back either. Our house is probably 3-5 minutes from their home office. So, it's not like we are far away either.

I'm not sure why or how their service has degraded like this. In the past, whenever I've called Morrow & Holman, they've always been responsive and seemed to care about providing good customer service. But, clearly- not so much anymore. I'm not confident that I can rely on Morrow and Holman if they won't even come out to make their appointments.

In any event, I asked around at work, and my co-worker recommended his plumber, Rooter Hero. So, I gave them a call and they (a) came out to the appointment on time, (b) did a good diagnosis/ detection/ quote of the leak, (c) did the repair work after I authorized it, and (d) cleaned up the affected area. They were a bit expensive, but at least they showed up and were honest and willing to help.

Dependable and competent. Customer service is excellent, response time is reasonable, and their prices are far better than their competitors. I had two toilets running and my heater wasn't working. Fred came out, quickly took care of the toilets and resolved my heating issue. I highly recommend Morrow & Holman and if you should use them, rate them because 3.5 stars is not accurate. They have a good reputation and I've learned that they've been in business for decades. It's such a relief to have people who take their work professionally and are reliable. The cost for the repairs were practically free. I trust them.

I've used M&H at least a dozen times. They don't show up about half the time. When I call back, often they don't even know that there was a call, or that they didn't show up. Mostly fine when they do show, but the quality of the individual plumbers can vary considerably.

When we had an emergency where our toilet broke, I called several local places, and fortunately, discovered Morrow & Holman. They immediately answered their phones, thoroughly explained their process, and we had a new toilet all within a few hours. Their service was prompt, their customer service was through and diligent, and a stressful situation quickly turned into a resolution. I highly recommend!

I was hoping to work with a local plumber but they do not know what they are doing. They sent a man who came in and eyeballed the problem, touched the area and said there is a moisture on the wall. He was not sure where it came from and said he could open the wall to find out. He had no tool to detect leaks. It took 2 min to walk into the house and say I don't know what to do and walk out. They did not give me a solution or alternatives to check where the leak is coming from and yet they charged $110. I will never call them again and I do not recommend them at all.

We have counted on Morrow and Holman for several years now for all of our plumbing and HVAC fixes and re-dos in our triplex- so a-lot!

I have gotten to know nearly everyone in the office and on the site- and all of them have always been kind and decent people who take their jobs seriously.

As an owner and liaison for the past few years- Morrow and Holman have been great to work with on jobs that can be sometimes urgent, sometimes complicated, and sometimes big and dreaded.
-They put the time in - and I really appreciate it!

I called for repair on 2 faucets. Kitchen was fixed quickly, the bathroom faucet was taken apart, plumber took the part to his truck then returned saying he could not fix it. He left me with a mess. I turned for alternative plumbing service and it was repaired quickly and with ease. What kind of plumbing service leaves you without fixing what their profession calls for?
