Starting with a pickup truck, a tool shed, and an idea, Luther Morris established the company. His philosophy was simple: always put the customer first.

Dewey Jenkins took over the business in 1990. After 32 years, the original ""Morris Heating & Cooling Co."" had grown to 12 employees, known for integrity and quality, yet lacked a service division.

He has maintained Luther's dedication to integrity and added a new focus: making it easy for customers.

When Dewey took over in 1990, Morris-Jenkins, similar to other heating and air firms in Charlotte, was available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with restricted emergency service beyond those hours.

To better serve customers, Morris-Jenkins became the first heating and air company to provide evening and weekend service at no extra cost.

Dewey Jenkins serves as the president of Morris-Jenkins and is dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
