We're having a new heating and air system installed and Duanne was recommended by that company to run new gas lines. We don't have the propane tank connected yet, but the work sure looks good. He used the better ridged piping over the flexible that another plumber was going to use. He was on time, got right to work and I even had him install a pump on the hot water to provide us with instant hot water in the back of the house. Love it!!

I Duane Moore out last Monday and he did a good job, seemed driven to figure out the issue and acknowledged that it may very well be just a temporary fix but went over our next plan of attack after we discussed all of the issues we have had. So of course Friday the toilet floods again and being a long weekend I waited to contact him until Tuesday and he said he would get back to me but didnt. I waited until about 2:30 Wed and texted asking if he knew when he would be able to come out and he FaceTimed me. I realize he was probably trying to put a face to the messages and figure out whose job he was talking about but he got very aggressive with me, talked over me presenting HIS situation, what he can and can't do, that we will need to figure out a next step (we had already discussed all of this at his prior visit) and when I repeatedly tried to respond with what had previously been discussed he continued to cut me off loudly telling me he works 6am-9pm 6 days a week and has four kids at home and doesn't remember every conversation, etc and that he's ""doing me a solid"" by offering to come back out. I multiple times tried to respond reminding him of the plan we discussed and he simply wouldn't let me talk. I didn't interrupt, I was respectful, I didn't respond to his aggressive, forceful verbal attack and he just simply wasn't even interested in even HEARING what we had planned. I finally told him I didn't need his help and would figure something else out. Even then he very forcefully kept saying that he will come, it's not a big deal he's TRYING to help me, etc...
I was shaking when I was finally able to get off the phone with him. A week later and my heart still raced thinking about it and talking with others to make sure I'm not crazy to feel so attacked.

While I absolutely recognize that people have hard days, I will NEVER accept that being verbally assaulted this was is excusable or shall be dismissed. If he reflected and realized his behavior was erratic and called me back to talk through it and apologize I would have maybe even felt a tad bit better. I just can't possibly recommend this plumber to anyone with a clear conscience.

Duane did a great job with my plumbing needs . He was quick and courteous and the job took less time than anticipated. I was thoroughly impressed with him and his workmanship- give him a call! 619 _ 454 _ 1858. I have never been this impressed with a plumber - he is great ! And I will definitely be calling him again when another issue comes up. Seriously great work - he went above and beyond !

If there were 10 stars I would give this rating to Duane from Moore Plumbing. I have never had a plumber this great ever, and I have lived in 4 states over 50 years. Duane shows up on time, courteous, smart, great interpersonal skills, honest, reasonably priced, explains everything so you understand what the problem is and the fix. Duane is very skilled in his trade. Also a 3rd generation Plummer. His Grandfather taught his 5 uncles and they in turn taught him. I plan on telling all my friends to use Duane because this guy is the BEST PLUMMER in San Diego.

Duane was able to work me in and fixed both of my toilets in record time. He answered the phone himself and had me send photos so he came with everything he needed. Professional and kind. You can tell Duane has pride of ownership in his business. I'm glad I turned to Nextdoor for plumbing recommendations, and glad so many had already mentioned Moore plumbing.

Duane did a splendid job on my toilet that I've been having problems with for years. No one else could do it, or even knew what to do. I LOVE HIM!!!!

Around 8pm last night, we discovered a pinhole leak in the copper pipe leading out of our water heater which was spraying a fine mist onto nearby cabinets. Duane Moore took my call in the evening, suggested a temporary fix and came out at 7am the next morning to replace the elbow joint that was creating the problem even though he already had an 8am appointment booked nearby. Great guy, great work. Very satisfied!
