Monty's Plumbing came out and replaced seven thirty-year-old plumbing lines and valves to sinks and a toilet. I called, and they responded and did the job the same day. Reasonable pricing. Very professional. I'll call them again if I need plumbing work.

Monty seemed nice and I was excited to use him to install a toilet for me. After we worked out a time for him to come do the work, he declined the job because he was only interested in working in single family homes. Since I have a condo in a larger complex, he just didn't want to deal with the liabilities associated. I can understand that, just a bit frustrated that I'm back to the drawing board.

KC is the BEST, hands-down. He fixed problems in my WWII-era house that were unfixable to other plumbers. Plus, he managed to repair existing issues in place without costly demolition and other ""recommended"" repairs which I had been quoted. Look, it's plumbing, not a new Mercedes. He's also jolly and cheerful and brimming with integrity. 'Reading this review looking for a top plumber? Don't waste your precious time looking any further. You just found the guy you want.

We heard about KC/Monty's Plumbing from referrals from multiple friends who just had some work done by KC and they were both extremely happy with his work and professionalism. We had just found out we had a slab leak in the hot water pipe leading to the kitchen in a downstairs closet, and since it was a weekend we really wanted to find and at least get a temporary fix as quickly as possible. Unfortunately KC was out of town but he still answered his phone and gave recommendations to us for leak detection and ""cleanup"" companies of which were fantastic

When it came to getting the actually leak fixed and re-routed we initially were going to go with the company that we had do the leak detection for more that they were familiar with it and we wanted to get this fixed as soon as possible (still in freak out mode!) We decided to slow down and get another couple of bids. What really impressed us with KC was he gave his frank assessment of where we should do the re-route and why (which differed a bit from previous companies) but because we had some strange nook and crannies with our walls etc. he wanted to bring in another pair of ""eyes"" to assess what he was seeing and if it would be the most direct and best course course of action. He brought in Dave, and they conferred and came up with a plan that would end up being easy, direct and would save us a ton of repair work in the future.

Besides being very pleasant to talk to and professional his pricing was very competitive so we decided to go with Monty's Plumbing. Because of the fact it was still a re-route, he wanted to get his whole crew involved so they could get the job done as quickly as possible for us because it was during one of the scorcher of days we had here in San Diego County. Their ""attack"" plan worked without a hitch and were able to get it done within a half a day vs the whole day which was planned. The quoted price stayed the same, they cleaned up after themselves and we are very pleased to be able to run the dishwasher again. Thanks guys!

Had to get a kitchen faucet set replaced and it turned out that my top of my kitchen cabinets were too thick for the Kohler fixture I bought to go all the way through. Kevin pointed out the problem, and went ahead and sawed around the cabinet holes enough to get the new fixtures
in place (this was a tough job). Looks and works great now. He also fixed a problem that I hadn't expected to fix -- my Takagi tankless water heater wouldn't stay on with my new shower (flow rate too low). It took him all of 5 minutes to fix, and I've been working around that problem for 3 years by running hot water in my sink while I took my showers.

Super great. I called yesterday morning. Someone was here yesterday afternoon to see what I needed. The work was completed today. In 24 hours I was all set, the pricing was fair, they were kind and answered all of my questions. Love these guys.

Well, thank God for honest, smart, nice plumbers! I had a long list for Kevin to do and he made quick work of all of it. My favorite thing?.....by far the reverse osmosis system! It works great and the water tastes so clean. Thanks again guys for being there for this female family!

This review is long overdue. KC helped us replace our garbage disposal (about a month ago) and was able to come out and work with us the very next day we had called him for help.
