As a first time home buyer imagine my horror when I woke up to a shower that wasn't draining and a toilet that was flooding from the base three months after we moved in. Called our home warranty company and they send out a guy who claims that what we need to do cannot be done within our coverage (and if you yelp this company you will see terrible reviews for this fact). I turn to Yelp, call a few plumbers and immediately got the feeling that KC knew what he was talking about and could be trusted. I also really appreciated that when you call Monty's you talk to KC who can talk about your problem over the phone, with a lot of these larger companies you are left to talk to a receptionist and not an actual plumber which means you can't really get a good estimate for a larger issue.

KC was able to show up the next morning and he was able to unclog our main drain from the clean out the other plumber said wasn't going to be a good option and he was really good at meeting his approximate estimate. My husband really liked him too. Unfortunately for us, this is probably the first of many plumbing issues we will have while we own this home and I am so glad that we found a plumber that I wouldn't hesitate to call at the first sign of another issue.

Casey is great. We had a problem with our new water heater and he made the time to come over a couple hours after I called him. WOW, same day service. He is very professional and extremely nice. I would highly recomment him!!

Monty's Plumbing is awesome! KC is the owner and main plumber, along with his excellent able crew. He is a ""real"" person, who takes pride in his work and does a first class job. Each job is approached like it was his house that he was working on - whew - that is refreshing. We've used KC for 4 different jobs and were pleased and satisfied each time. There are no surprises. If an unintended issue surfaces, it is discussed immediately, with pros and cons, and dollar impact. Bottom line, there are a lot of plumbers out there, but Monty's Plumbing is the real thing - you will be happy.

I used Monty's Plumbing today based on great reviews on Yelp. They were really helpful. KC came to my house within a half hour of me calling and had the problem fixed within 15 minutes. He was accommodating to my schedule and was really friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber based on my experience today and will use Monty's Plumbing again.

KC is awesome! He has come to our rescue with clogged sinks, and majorly backed up Bathtubs a few times. He was friendly, nice and always makes sure I am in the know of what he was doing. We have a back unit where he has helped us out from time to and is always easy to get in contact with. We have a dog, and he always remembers her name and always takes time to give her some attention.
Well, if you want good, honest service, look no further!

I first met KC of Monty's Plumbing back in January 2008. I was having a birthday dinner party and my kitchen sink was clogged so I called a plumber to clear the line that evening. No luck, the plumber was unable to clear the line and I was charged anyway for the site visit! A friend that had come over that evening recommended KC of Monty's plumbing so I called. The next day KC came over and cleared the line out in 5 minutes. I was so happy with KC's work, pricing and business etiquette I had him come over the following week to perform some upgrade work in my kitchen.

To this day I still use and recommend KC of Monty's Plumbing.

Also, I recommend KC to anyone in San Diego searching for ""Sustainable Solutions"", see Monty's website. I have practiced Landscape Architecture in San Diego for about 12 years and KC has been installing rain water harvesting systems and grey water reuse systems years before most Designers and Architects were even thinking about these concepts here in San Diego!

You just can't get any better service than Monty's Plumbing. Honest, fast, reliable service is what you get along with a smile. I recently had a gas line rerouted in the rental house we have and it was done quickly and expertly. We will next be having them add a new heater to the house. They have a lot of skills between them. You can't go wrong with this company.
