Monty's and their owner KC were awesome-- reasonably priced, honest, responsible and did a great job for us within the time period promised. We had various plumbing issues at our OB house. We obtained quotes from two other companies first. One company, 5 star on Angie's list, gave an outrageously priced quote (we consulted our House inspector). The other company's quote was a little better but also high and plus they tried to get us do a whole lot more than perhaps needed. Comparing the interactions with these companies, Monty's seemed a lot more honest and straightforward, even when interacting with someone looked easily fooled (I mean myself). I would recommend Monty's for your plumbing issues and perhaps some of the ""green"" (water conservation) plumbing projects they offer.

KC and his entire crew are awesome! They are so professional, courteous, quick to respond, and trustworthy. I have been working with KC now for a few years and the experience is consistent every time. I had an emergency very early this morning and a few months ago and I received an immediate call back and someone out to my house to fix the problems asap. They do very good work at really good prices, very fair! I highly recommend them! Today I worked with Greg and Dave as well as KC and all three were wonderful!

We developed a leak under our kitchen sink; we thought it was the garbage disposer, but weren't sure. I called Monty's, which I had found on Yelp; the phone was answered immediately by KC. He was booked for the day, but had a little time between two jobs, and with no reluctance, agreed to come and look at our job. He showed up (with a smile on his face) when he said he would, diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, and had Kevin install a new disposer that same afternoon. What a pleasant surprise to find a company owner so accommodating and personable and an employee so friendly and capable. We'll certainly use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

This is the 2nd time that we've had Monty's Plumbing come and fix various things, and KC is THE BEST! He is very personable, professional, thorough and will not fix things that don't need fixing! As the plumbing experts we are (NOT!), he went and bought parts based upon what we told him. Turned out we were wrong, and he went ahead and fixed the things that DID need to be fixed, altho' he could have easily performed the unnecessary repairs and we wouldn't have known better. And he didn't charge us for the parts purchased! He is honest and we felt comfortable leaving the house and going out for lunch while he & his associate worked. His prices are reasonable and the work gets done quickly and efficiently. Even our grumpy dog liked him! For any future plumbing needs we will continue to call him for sure! Check him out, you won't be disappointed!

Called Montys on a Yelp whim and they were awesome! Busted pipe under the house and they fixed it asap with no up selling. They did honest and thorough work in a decent amount of time. They were even considerate of my napping toddler!

I usually can fix basic plumbing problems but had a very stubborn tub spout that refused to be removed and replaced. I checked Yelp and called Monty's, expecting to get scheduled for next week. KC was here the next day, replaced the tub spout and even regrouted around the shower water ""handle"" fixture when he noted that it could cause serious problems in the future. BOOM! Work done, he cleaned up after himself, we chatted, I paid a fair price. He is definitely our San Diego plumber for life!!

These guys are really friendly.
Unfortunately, they failed at a basic bath tub clog. To avoid writing the long story, they told me that it would be useless to go through the roof vent to unclog the back to back tubs in my home. They said it was actually something much worse, which I did not understand why exactly, and it really scared me. they told me it would cost a lot of $, and gave me referrals to contractors.

So I get a second opinion, get another plumbing company to come, ask them to unclog the tub drain through the roof vent, and they did it. This was 5 months ago. Still in good shape.

I cannot believe Monty's Plumbing just didn't do this basic thing for me.
