Terrible experience with this company and the plumber. He was very rude and condescending to my wife and they overcharged us so much money. Then, when we tried to talk to somebody at the company about our issues, they would never call us back! I do not recommend this company. Plus the thing they were supposed to fix is not even fixed so they are incompetent as well.

Chuck showed up on time as promised, was very friendly and personable, and was in and out in no time, installing my Wi-Fi safety shutoff valve in under an hour. As far as the business is concerned -- of all I contacted, Monona was the most responsive, the most in depth, and fairly significantly the best value, and they asked about mask preferences ahead of time (which were adhered to!), which is not something I have experienced with other contractors. I would happily contact Rick again for an estimate or have Chuck do work for me. Well done.

They came out quickly to fix a long time kitchen sink problem that moved had become an emergency (to me, anyway). In the course of the repair, my toilet got scratched from the rotor, which is a rare occurrence. Their response exceeded my expectations and I was very impressed. I highly recommend Monona Plumbing and will absolutely use them again.

We had Monona Plumbing over to fix a toilet that was not working correctly. But I asked if he could answer some questions and he was happy to do it. I wanted to get an opinion on our tub hardware that we had replaced back 12 years ago. We were missing the stopper piece and all the hardware did not look good even though they were pretty new. So he wanted to look at the water softener since he did not think it was working. He took one look at it and said the water softener stopped working 10-15 years ago. A few days later he installed new hardware for the tub and today replaced the water softener. It went super quick! He told me what to use to clean the hard water stains /damage and how to get a free replacement piece for our Koehler faucet. Luke was a great person to work with and super knowledgeable. I was impressed he was wondering why we were having hard water damage. Highly recommend!

I didn't have hot water and two other plumbers couldn't figure out why. I'm pretty sure Evan took that as a challenge because he didn't stop trying things to fix it and it ended up being because of warped piping in the attic! He was incredibly nice the whole time he was working on it. Would definitely call again.

Our kitchen faucet started leaking and water was going under the sink. I called Monona Plumbing in a panic because my husband and I use this sink constantly. Not to worry - they sent someone out within two hours who fixed it in no time at all. We recommend them highly because of both their professionalism and their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Had what I thought was an emergency issue after hours. Matt walked me through a couple things by phone. Toilet issue still needed a home visit. Scheduled it right away. Luke did a great job. I had him return the next week to put in a couple gas lines, new water softener. Great work, friendly. Answered all my questions. Will definitely use them again.

We have used Monona several times - they are easy to schedule with (and are able to come early in the morning so as not to disrupt the workday) and efficient.

We've had them replace a leaky faucet and fix a slow floor drain. They take the time to explain what they're investigating so you as the customer can get up to speed on the tools you'd need for a DIY fix next time, or help better explain what the issue might be next time they are needed.

They could potentially be more transparent in pricing after the job is done - I don't know what the hourly rate is.
