Enrique went above and beyond to help with my tankless water heater issues. I had a surprise wasps nest inside of my unit and he took it upon himself to remove it for me in addition to repairing my unit. He easily could have told me to hire an exterminator and left but he was committed to doing what it took to get the job done. This man deserves a bonus!

Writing because this company is not worth the money. I tried to get helped however the person who was suppose to quote me never got back to me. I called and spoke with a manger ""Cindy"" however she should be fired with her attitude , the lack of caring for the sale of the company . DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! Luis Munoz came to service my tankless water heater. When he arrived and reviewed my account, he realized the company had in error scheduled an annual maintenance for today; however, the maintenance service had already been handled in January at the same time as another service. Instead of shuffling around the tank to fabricate a service inspection, he was honest and straightforward. I am so thankful for his honesty! Additionally, he did tell me about some upgrades I should make to provide a better distribution of the hot water. With this recommendation, he also clearly provided an understanding about this suggestion. These days, it is rare to find trustworthy service personnel, and I am grateful to have Luis cross my path!

Needed assistance with replacement of outdoor spigot, and technician Eddie Melgoza arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. Immediately analyzed situation, advised options, and then proceeded to replace spigot. We also asked about related plumbing issues that were more long-term, and Eddie was able to provide competitively priced estimate. Eddie spoke in non-technical terms, so both myself and my wife could understand the process for future project. Just a great plumber, who believes in excellent customer service. Will not hesitate to use Monkey Wrench Plumbing again!!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Monkey Wrench Plumbing to fix a leaking bathtub faucet and remove a stuck hose (installing a new hose bib) in my home, and I must say, I am extremely disappointed and appalled at his plumber's blatant overcharging for their services. The total for these two services was 811.00. 150 dollars for parts and 661.00 for labor. When I looked up the shower valves that were replaced they were approximately 20 dollars each and the hose bib is about 10 dollars coming to a grand total of about 50 dollars, retail. So, they up-charged 100 dollars on parts alone. Now let's get to the labor while he was technically here for approximately 2 hours, and he did fix the problem, that does include 2 separate trips to the store to go buy the parts. The first initial trip plus an additional trip because he got the wrong parts the first time. In total, he spent about 30-40 minutes actually working and fixing the problem. Regardless, 330 dollars an hour for labor is ridiculous. I cannot recommend them to anyone. It's evident that they are taking advantage of their customers' lack of plumbing knowledge to exploit them financially.

I cannot emphasize enough how crucial it is to avoid Monkey Wrench Plumbing at all costs. Their dishonest practices, overcharging, and lack of integrity have left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. There are plenty of other reputable plumbers out there who provide fair pricing and honest service. Spare yourself the disappointment by steering clear of this untrustworthy plumber.

Unfortunately, I wrote my prior review too soon. After I posted the good review, one of the tankless units that had been flushed for routine maintenance started having issues, making weird sounds and then dumping water. I called the dispatcher and was not able to get anyone out check it out until the end of the day. It was quickly diagnosed as a pressure regulator valve issue and I was told that we had an unusual 1 inch connection which would make it more expensive than the standard 3/4 inch pressure valve. Conveniently, the guy just happened to have 2 different kinds of 1 inch pressure regulators on hand from a previous job that he had not needed to utilize. He pulled out a tablet and showed me one which would cost over $1000 installed and the other pressure valve would cost $964! Concerned that we might damage our 1 year old tankless water heater, I opted for the slightly cheaper solution. The installation took a little less than half an hour. I looked up the Zurn Wilkins 70xl part that installed and found it on the manufacturer's website as available at Home Depot. The price for that pressure regulator valve is $178. Even without assuming that the company gets a contractor discount, that is one huge markup on parts and labor. Monkey Wrench profited hugely on my desperation not to damage my tankless. Buyer beware... the service guy is very personable, but the cost for that is not worth it. I will never use Monkey Wrench again... and hopefully others will read this follow up and think twice before hiring the company to do any work.

Eddie was fantastic! Fixed both our kitchen sink and guest bathroom. Replaced old valves and faucets. Was knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything he was doing! Will use Monkey Wrench and Eddie again. Highly recommend!!!

I have enjoyed working with this company. Rick, provides a lot of information and does quality work. We recently had our tankless water heater replaced and it has been a huge lifechanger and they also made sure to make it work for the space we wanted it to be stored in. It can get pricey, but the reliability and the skills of the technician will save you in the long haul. Very pleased with the quality and customer service.
