I called them to fix a gas pipeline leak. I got a quick response and quote was cheaper than others had quoted. Workers arrived on time on the said day and wrapped up the work pretty fast. They also did a good job in clean up the place.
PGE came and inspected and issue was resolved.

Best service you can ask for Jose is friendly and very caring. I called him in the morning and he came to my house the same day and gave me a quote right away. We called him to let him know we would like to have him do the job and he was there a couple days later right on time with his crew. They re-did all my plumbing in my house and they finished that same day had the tapers come and fix the hole in my wall that they needed to make to get the pipes in and by the third day Jose came himself and installed our toilet. Thank you Jose for the wonderful work and for taking your time and caring and giving us hot water. Will never look for another plumber again this is the place to go too.

I noticed the wall is wet all the time after water usage. I called Monarch and scheduled for a free estimate. They came out the same day. Ramon was great. He looked at the wall and said he didn't think there's a leak. To confirm, he even crain the crawl space to make sure nothing was leaking. Rather than finding a leak in the area we suspected a leak, he found a large puddle of water somewhere else under the house. He had us turn on the water inside the house to see if there's any leak, but there wasn't a leak. There was an irrigation problem the day before. He told us to monitor the area and see if the puddle stays there. Ramon was awesome. He did all of this free of charge and told us to call them back if there continues to be an issue. They will definitely be the first company to call in the future if we have any plumbing issues. Thanks Ramon.

Jose is great. I have used him for multiple projects for the past five years. He has never disappointed and his fees are reasonable. He just finished a sewer lateral on my house. Work was done quickly and got an inspection soon. I Would use him over and over again.

I have always had problems with plumbers doing half finished work and then over charging me for their service, but when I started using Monach plumbing they always fixed my plumbing issues the same or next day. They never had have to come back for the same problem twice and also they have very well mannered and polite laborers. This review is long over due. It crossed my mind now as my in-law just had the same problem in Hawaii.

Jose did the sewer replacement of one of our rental properties in Richmond about 6 years ago. At the time, the back unit was too far from the street main and the fall of the sewer pipe was not steep enough and so the back unit had sewer back flows all the time (good thing it went to the shower pan first).

I had asked two other plumbing contractors and neither of them could figure out a way to make it work without causing an arm and a leg. Jose was able to come up with a creative way to truly fix the problem at a reasonable price, and we haven't had any problem since!

Moreover, shortly after the job, an issue came up that traced the root cause to be a very unexpected situation, but to do a clean fix it would require him to break open the concrete and redo part of the work.

Most others would likely try all sort of excuses and perhaps come up with some quick fix. But Jose took the matter in his hand and came back to redo the work without any quibbling. I wasn't even a regular client of him and that kind of professionalism truly set them apart, in additional to doing an excellent job which looked very professional (rather than some patchy looking repair job) at the time. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them!

I am a contractor and I have used Jose as a subcontractor for about 6 years doing everything from new construction jobs, trenchless sewer line replacements to water heater replacements. He is responsive fair and does the jobs right the first time. I feel very comfortable recommending him to all my friends, clients and fellow yelpers... What a coincidence. I had appointment with a different company to come down but they never showed up. Called few other ones and ended up driving right behind Monarch plumbing truck (which says -- Free estimates). I called them, the guy showed up within 25 mins; and the job was done within 30 mins.

All the other ones quoted me about $150-$250 just to show up. Monarch plumbing rep charged me almost 60% less that the all other companies.

Very professional company. Will call them for any other plumbing jobs.
