Kitchen sink was clogged. Called Monarch Plumbing and Rooter. Technician, Roberto Vega, came right away. Got it fixed within 1 hour. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Have to say that I picked them based on the reviews here on Yelp. I made an appt the evening before for 8 am for a camera for our pipes. 8 am comes. Nothing. At 8:30 I start calling and have to call 6 times to get a live person. Finally at 9:50 the guy shows up. Our situation was a DIY gone bad. We had gotten the drain snake stuck. We had called and asked for a camera to look to see where and how it was stuck. The first thing the guy does is start to put water down the hole, which stirs up water and stuff making it impossible to use the camera at that moment. I was furious. He did exactly what we didn't want. And we don't want to fill the hole we had dug with water/mud. And he did EXACTLY THAT! Then the guy says he doesn't even have a camera with him . He has to leave to get it and it's just around the corner and he will be back in a few minutes. He leaves at 10:20 and comes back at 12:40. He hooks up the camera and it's like looking at a ultrasound machine, where the technician is the only one who can read it. There is no clear picture. Not because of the water in the pipe. Because of the crappy camera. He explains what he sees...I don't see it. Then he says THE ONLY way to get the snake out is to break the pipes and replace all of our pipes and that starts at $3k. But if I want to do the job the right way I should replace all of my pipes to the street and he will give me a discount of $6k. I ask if there is any other way. Try to retrieve it with another snake or something? Nope. So I send him on his way. I figure let's try to get it out ourselves. If we break the pipe we will then incur the $3k but at least we tried. My husband and I work at it for an hour more and bam. It comes out...FREE. So needless to say that we won't be calling them again

I made a yelp account just to write this review. That is how good monarch plumbing is!

Got an old shower cartridge that finally broke after more than a decade of use. I made appointments with 3 companies, all of which did not even show....and wasn't responsive by phone. I was able to get estimates with several yelp plumbing companies and some of the estimates were just ridiculous (ranging from $450 to $950). I did some online search for shower valve repair jobs and the average for the area is only around $200..... Some of them even suggested making a hole into the wall to swap out the valve when all they have to do is swap the cartridge out..... super shady

Made an appointment with Monarch plumbing on Sunday and Roberto got here ON TIME the next day. He is super friendly and honest. He knew exactly what he was doing and got the job done in 1 hr. And I spent only $135 for the whole thing....WOW....And they have a warranty for 4 months in case of future leaks.

I will definitely be using Monarch Plumbing from now on. If you are in the area, I would HIGHLY recommended Monarch and Roberto!

Jose and Team did a sewer line replacement(Trenchless). I would have to say they made this experience so easy for me. I received a quick response from Jose and Oswaldo. From start to finish Jose and team were professional, friendly and I received awesome customer service. I appreciate Jose's, Fernando's, Oswaldo's and other Team members communications about the project, work performed and the clean up after. Team arrived on time and completed the project the same day, including inspections. Great to know they are local and a family business. I definitely would refer them and they will be my go to Plumbing Experts.

Upfront, fast, clean and punctual.
I called them to fix a gas pipeline leak. I got a quick response and quote was cheaper than others had quoted. Workers arrived on time on the said day and wrapped up the work pretty fast. They also did a good job in clean up the place.
PGE came and inspected and issue was resolved.

Best service you can ask for Jose is friendly and very caring. I called him in the morning and he came to my house the same day and gave me a quote right away. We called him to let him know we would like to have him do the job and he was there a couple days later right on time with his crew. They re-did all my plumbing in my house and they finished that same day had the tapers come and fix the hole in my wall that they needed to make to get the pipes in and by the third day Jose came himself and installed our toilet. Thank you Jose for the wonderful work and for taking your time and caring and giving us hot water. Will never look for another plumber again this is the place to go too.
