Monarch Plumbing is the best. Jose is great, you call him and he sets the appointment right away. Our water pressure was really bad, another plumbing company quoted us 8k for for the job. Thank goodness Jose was recommended to us, after his inspection, he quoted us less than 50% what the other company quoted. His staff is very professional and courteous. Today we had Ramon come in to change our kitchen sink. We had some problems with the fitting, but Ramon was so patient and hardworking that he made it work. He was on time actually he was 30 minutes early which was awesome and he did a wonderful job. Thanks Ramon! Their price is very reasonable and they do very good work. I highly recommend them!

ATTENTION: After talking to 10+ plumbers and contractors - I just want to inform the lay person what I've learned to save some of you some $$$ and headaches.

Don't guess where you think the problem is - have your chosen plumber clear out the ENTIRE sewer line - inside and outside of your home and that they warranty the work. They only warranty what section was cleared so get them to clear it both ways! Make sure you run the water after the drain has been ""theoretically"" cleared to check and make sure water is flowing quickly not slowly trickling.

Some plumbers charge by the hour. Others charge by equipment. Call & ask for an appt if they give free estimate. Make sure it's a no charge if they are not able to unclog the drain. Each company gives different warranties, ask before you schedule an appointment. Ask for a WRITTEN copy of invoice, what work was done, cost and warranty before the plumber or any repairman leaves. Honest plumbers will start with the lowest costing solution and move up the ladder and clean up afterwards.

The Industry Standard Hourly Rate ranges from $110 - $125.

DRAIN SNAKE/AUGER - lowest quote $70, highest quote $150, avg quote $125 (Make sure they use the 4"" blade, if they use a smaller blade chances are you will need another drain clearing in 3 months since the only opened up a small hole.) Minimum Warranty: 30 day

HYDRO JET - lowest quote $175, highest quote $350, avg quote $250, Warranty: 90 day

VIDEO INSPECTION - $150, ask for a copy of the video inspection for second opinions and alternate bids/quotes

SPOT REPAIR - $1050 - $1200

SEWER LATERAL REPLACEMENT - $2200 - $4200

My experience with Jose: Great Value, Knows his Craft, No Documentation

Jose and his crew were close by, offered $70 over the phone to snake the drain because I have an outdoor access point called a CLEAN OUT, but when he arrived, he looked at the clean out and said we have to use the Hydro jet to clear it out for $175 + put a camera into the sewer main. Shook hands on $175. He cleaned out the drain, dropped camera in, PARTIALLY diagnosed that a portion of pipe in the yard had cracked and needed replacement. Jose did not catch the soft blockage in the other direction which, I had to call out another plumber because Jose was a no show for 2 appointments (minus 2 stars).

Jose, the owner was working on our Condo's and being a owner refused to answer any question on why they are cleaning the main pipe and I also asked him do you clean the pipes for going into the kitchen area.

Very disappointed and would not refer this company.

I doubt that I will ever use any other plumbing company other that Monarch. Jose the owner and his crew are always on time, are always courteous, his crew is very knowledgeable in their work and they get the job done within the timeline that they say they will have it done. Jose is very prompt when I call for service. He explains in detail what is going to be done, if there could be any issues, his recommedations and the warranty that comes with the work. And above all....his pricing is more than reasonable and very competitive. I am more than satisfied with their services and would recommend them without hesitation.
