We have used Mark several times in the past at our old house. We recently bought a house that had homeowner type repairs. All the sinks were plumbed with flex hose instead of pipe and they weren't draining right as well as the garbage disposal was backwards. Mark came over and repaired all the drains quickly. Mark was at the house within hours, and offered a couple of alternatives to what will not be an easy fix. Small, family owned, and it shows (in a bad way). There is no communication between office and plumbers, no communication between office and customers, or customers and plumbers. We recently hired this company to do an entire re-pipe in our brand-new house.
I won't go into alllllllll the details of our job, but let me just say, it was not a good experience.
Bonnie, the owner, is awful. Maybe she didn't like us because we don't have kids, or that we're gay. But we were treated so poorly, I can't think of any other reasons. In the beginning she was very helpful and said what she needed to get the work. However, once we reached out with displeasure, her tune completely changed. She was defensive, condescending, and didn't believe everything we were telling her. First, the work that was described prior to job was totally inaccurate. She said holes would be ""surgical"", as small and precise as possible. This was not the cases. I understand they don't know what's behind the walls, so they need to cut holes to check things out, but this was worse than that. The holes were MASSIVE. They tripled our drywall work just to fix them. TRIPLED! Old pipes were left hanging out of walls, trash and debris was left behind, no clean up, barely any drop cloths, ruined baseboards in all 3 bathrooms, left a soaking wet paper towel in a bathroom cabinet OVERNIGHT, shut off our irrigation system and failed to turn back on (killed our plants and grass bc there was no water to them for 2 weeks), it took over a week for anyone to even respond to my emails/calls. Finally, now 3 weeks after the job, probably 40 emails, phone calls, and texts, we finally got a message that they ""will not change their minds"" about how to make this right. Not to mention, all the time my wife and I spent trying to contact them, writing the emails, texts, getting on calls. They were late for scheduled call, didn't respond for days, and only did certain things after we asked. They finally gave us HALF of what we were looking for to make it right today. Job was April 20th. They argued every point we made and basically called us stupid saying we, and our handyman, are ""not licensed plumbers"" and things were done ""based on expertise in the plumbing industry"".
Avoid them. It won't end well, trust me.
Had things been done satisfactory, this would have been a completely different review.
