We moved up to Big Bear City this past June (full timers) Our heater (furnace) went out the other day. We were looking for a trustworthy & professional technician to service our furnace. We were referred to M & M Mechanical by a friend. The two technicians that came out, Tim and Andrew were professional and polite. They took their time fixing the furnace, replacing the thermostat, and filter. We are very pleased and thankful for their service, we highly recommend them. From Roxanne & Joe

I am so happy these guys were available to help us out! One day before we had our very first renters coming (two days before Thanksgiving), I noticed the heat was not working--and it was COLD out with a big snow storm expected. I was kinda freaking out! It was nighttime so places weren't open; I put in an inquiry through Yelp. These guys contacted me right away and set it up to come out early the next morning. Phew--help was on the way.
When they arrived the next morning--at the time they'd said they would--they could see what the problem was right away. They went to work. I was still sweating bullets, hoping they could get it working, knowing renters would be here at 4pm.
Dean and the guy with him (forgot his name), fixed it and got it working! Dean even made some adjustments to our Nest mechanism (to help it better communicate with our heater system.) They made some adjustments to the heater box and stayed to make sure everything was working properly.
They really saved us! Heater system has been working since, keeping our guests warm.
It was a close call for us, and I'm so grateful these guys were available and got it fixed quickly. We would/will definitely use again!

Mike, Dean and Tim provided excellent service in a very timely manner. They were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Came home to our heater not working, Mike came out within the hour to fix it. A couple days later the same issued was happening and Dean was at our doorstep first thing in the morning. After troubleshooting they determined the control panel that was replaced was faulty and immediately ordered a replacement. As soon as the replacement arrived Dean came to install the new one at 4:00pm when they close at 4:30pm because they wanted to resolve the issue for us as soon as they could and now it works great! We will definitely be calling Big Bear Sheet Metal & Heating for any future needs! Thank you again Mike, Dean and Tim for your expertise!

Called M&M at 9:30 for furnace not working properly. Left a message and Tim called back 20 minutes later. Showed up at 11:30. $165 and an hour later we had heat! Very knowledgeable and honest. Family owned business, Mike is his father. Highly recommend!

I purchased a home here in Lucerne Valley that was not equipped with air conditioning. I called Mike at M & M and got a quote. His estimate was better than anyone else I called. He also was very knowledgeable and & able to advise me on what equipment I would need to handle the hot summer days we have here. After all was said and done I was very happy with how quick he had gotten the job done and all within the original estimate. Very very satisfied. :)

We just bought a house in big Bear Lake that did not have air conditioning. We had Mike from M and M mechanical install an AC unit and he did a fantastic job was in and out very quickly and very cleanly and the AC works great.

Dean is extremely knowledgeable in his field. My heater was not running properly which was evident in my escalating electricity bills. It being a gas heater, the problem was likely that the fan was kicking on way too often. Dean ran some checks and was able to identify the causes for the fan to be operating more than it should be. He made the necessary adjustments and put in the correct filter. Although only time will tell, I'm confident he fixed my problem because of how well he explained everything to me. Dean is now in my contacts for all my future service and maintenance needs.

Had my boyfriend use them for his wall heater that stopped working. Dean came right over. Took one look knew right away the only issue was it needed a good cleaning. Fixed the issue fast and explained what the issue was. The gas pilot was dirty got cleaned. Never tries to tell you bs to make more money just a nice honest guy with great prices

We arrived to our cabin to find the heater was not working! At 3am! I sent out multiple requests and Dean our technician came to the rescue ASAP 6:30am. Fast, great and honest service! He tried multiple options, explained in detail how the heater works and what all the parts do. Tested checked every single part and found a solution. Bottomline our heater is working and saved our holiday weekend considering it was a Saturday! Thanks for your assistance and sending a awesome technician that really knows his stuff.

Called for heater problem during the middle of winter. The house was staying a crisp 40 F. Within 15 minutes of leaving a message I received a call and Tim was at the house 30 minutes later. Called me with a quote and options on equipment before doing the work. Was able to do the job and get the heater up and running right away. Was even willing to mail me a bill- did not ask to be paid immediately.
