Our journey began in 1998 with a focus on the Wellness Filter, which provided outstanding water quality. From that moment, we have immersed ourselves in the study of water, filtration, conditioning, and the health benefits associated with pure, living water in our everyday routines.

In 1973, my roommate Rick opened my eyes to the importance of healthy nutrition, which included recognizing the vital role of water in our lives. As an outdoor enthusiast, I have always felt a connection to nature through activities like surfing, skiing, hiking, and biking; nutrition and hydration are paramount.

In 1998, I came across The Wellness Filter; before that, I believed all filters were essentially the same. The descriptions provided by Wellness regarding their filter sounded too good to be true, and I wanted to understand how and why it worked so well. Over the past 14 years, I have dedicated myself to studying water, filtration, media, conditioning, hydration, chemistry, and the critical role water plays on our planet and the life it supports. Water is second only to the air we breathe; you can last for weeks without food, but barely a week without water.
