We started our exploration in 1998 with the Wellness Filter, that offered remarkable water quality. From that moment, we have immersed ourselves in the study of water, filtration, conditioning, and the health implications of having clean, living water in our lives.

Back in 1973, a roommate named Rick introduced me to the significance of healthy nutrition, which made me aware of how crucial water is to our well-being. As someone who loves the outdoors, I have always embraced nature through surfing, skiing, hiking, and biking; nutrition and hydration are critical.

In 1998, I discovered The Wellness Filter; prior to that, I thought all filters were pretty much alike. The claims made by Wellness about their filter seemed almost unbelievable, and I wanted to understand how and why it worked so well. In the past 14 years, I have committed myself to exploring water, filtration, media, conditioning, hydration, chemistry, and the essential role water has on our planet and the life it nurtures. Water ranks just behind the air we breathe; you can go weeks without food, but only about a week without water.
