6/6/19 we contacted Miracle Rooter due to a blockage. We were told over the telephone when we set up the service call we had to pay a $69 after hours service charge, but all other charges would be the same as during regular business hours. Daniel snaked the main line. He indicated he thought the problem may have arisen due to roots from the tree on our tree belt, but his camera did not work, so he was unable to confirm. He indicated the fee was $170 for the snaking because it was after hours plus an additional after hours service fee of $69. We told him this was inconsistent with the information we received initially and that the website said the fee was $76 for the snaking. He then indicated he would honor that price. 10 days later our whole system backed up again. We contacted Miracle Rooter. The rep indicated we would again have to pay for the snaking service. We told her that we were unwilling to pay for it since we just paid it and if the job was done adequately it should not have occurred so soon. The manager then said we did not need to pay for the snaking, but we needed to pay for the after hours service call. We refused to do that because again, this issue should not have arisen so soon. The manager agreed to send out a technician, but stated another rep would need to come out 6/17 to determine the cause of the repeated problems. Anthony came out and once again snaked the system. On 6/17, Peter, a supervisor, arrived. He used a device, which determined that the system was blocked within a few feet of the trunk of an enormous tree on our tree belt. We agreed to have them replace the pipe from the sidewalk to the curb. We agreed upon a price of $4000. Peter then mentioned that there was an additional cost for the permit. After Miracle Rooter exposed the pipe, it became evident that the pipe needed to be replaced from the curb onto the street as well. We renegotiated the contract with Peter to the cost of approx. $14000, including the original $4000 price. We were told by Miracle Rooter reps various deadlines as the project progressed, which were not met. The installers had not attended initially to the fact that the rim on the city's line protruded in a way that would not configure to the installers' pipe. They finally were able to hook the new pipe up as of 6/21, but the hole in the street could not be closed up until the inspection. The inspection occurred 6/24 and the first layer of the hole was filled. Although we were told it only took 24 hours for this layer to dry, the final layer of asphalt was not laid until 48 hours later. At that time, the steel panel that had been covering the hole was left askew along our curb. On 6/24 after the initial layer was placed over the hole, Anthony knocked on our door. We promptly paid him the balance of the amount due (approx. $13,600). He told us that a receipt would be emailed to us. We discussed with him clean up of the job. He assured us that the place would look ""like they were never there."" He indicated he would return 6/25 to clean up. He showed us pebbles that he had intended to use to replace those that were covering the area in the tree belt that had been dug up. They were not a match. We told him the company where the pebbles had been purchased and he indicated that they would be purchased and placed in the area on 6/25. We reviewed with him the grassy area on the lawn that had a large divot in it. He assured us that he would bring soil and smooth out the area the next day. As of 2 PM 6/25 no one from Miracle Rooter had arrived at the house. Since that time, we have made several attempts to get Miracle Rooter out to finish the clean up (there are still orange cones left on our property, the divot was not filled in, the rock area needs additional rocks and to be smoothed). Additionally, they have not sent us a final receipt or a video of the job, both of which we need to get over $5000 in rebates back from our city! They did not respond to the initial contact by the licensing board (we filed a complaint). We left a message for the owner. He left us a message at 9:30 PM. His voicemail is full, so we cannot leave him a response message.

I cannot recommend this plumber more. By far the best contractor I've ever worked with. I had a slab leak in a new house, which is basically the worst possible scenario. Add in a 2 yr old and a 9 month pregnant wife. Basically i was staring at a complete disaster. Two other plumbing companies indicated it would take roughly 3 weeks to pull out the old concrete, dirt and pipes and to replace with ABS. As soon as I met the guys from Miracle Rooter,m and saw their advanced equipment, i felt much better. Eric, Whitney and Geraldo worked TIRELESSLY for 6 days and replaced the entire plumbing downstairs. Clean, professional, and couldn't have been faster. Even more importantly, we COMPLETELY trusted all the employees in our house while we were gone or at work. Super honest guys, diligent, hardworking and fixed everything perfectly. They even documented everything completely for my insurance claim. This company turned a nightmare in my life into no problem, in less than a third of the time and at nearly half the cost of the prior estimates. I would very highly recommend this company to anyone. They are a pleasure to work with and an absolute keeper of a plumbing company.

I have never had an experience this good with any company, let alone any plumber. Anthony came within an hour of my call to help get a bottle out of the pipes that was accidentally flushed down the toilet. We were informed that large objects stuck in the toilet often require replacement of the toilet. He said he could give it a try with the auger and see if he could push the bottle through without breaking anything. Within 5 minutes the pipe was clear, and Anthony told us NO CHARGE!

I can't believe someone would drive all the way to my place and solve a problem for me for nothing. This guy Anthony is an ace and Miracle Rooter is lucky to have him. I know exactly who I'm calling next time I run into any issue.

Completely dishonest. Scam artists from the start. Showed pictures on their phone of clogged lines that were not even our lines. Indicated we needed 42' of new lines. Said good bye. This am our regular plumber snaked the line clean in 10 minutes. THEN, ran a camera and showed me clean and clear lines all the way to the street. Stay far away from these folks.

About a month ago I got a referral to this company through Home Advisor to repair a gas line on my rental property. We set up a 2 hour appointment window for which I had to set aside time for, and half way through the window period, I received a call that they were canceling my appointment because of scheduling conflicts. After delaying the job for a few weeks, and getting a couple of other estimates, I tried Miracle rooter again just to see if I can get 1 final estimate. The exact same thing happened AGAIN, with the woman on the phone giving me the same canned soulless explanation of how ""unfortunately...blah blah...."" they weren't going to make it out because of scheduling conflicts. Draw your own conclusions about these people

I am not 100% sure I should be writing this review since I haven't been a customer of Miracle Rooter in a few years, but they did replace my main line back in late 2011 and I never gave them a review so here I am. I agreed to let Miracle Rooter replace my main sewer line which had been plagued with root issues for what I consider to be a very reasonable price based upon the other bids I had received. The man who did the work was named Adolpho and I remember that he was there till about 8PM on Christmas Eve 2011 getting the work done even though I had suggested he go home and come back the day after Christmas, but he didn't want to leave the work unfinished and a customer unsatisfied. The courtesy and dedication he showed during that job was something I should have remembered, but unfortunately in May of 2018 I let another ""plumbing"" company (Wise Choice out of Glendora which is just a bunch of conmen with some plumbing skills) partially turn me against Miracle.

I invited WC to come out and unplug a toilet at my rental in Monrovia based upon the almost 5 star reviews I saw here on Yelp (most of those reviews are fake so please don't use that company). The criminal charlatan workers at WC quickly upped the price to $255 to remove the toilet, then $900 to replace a section of pipe in the yard, and then $2,000 to replace more pipe (which they didn't end up doing). During this scam phase which I must say I fell for as I wasn't there and was relying upon the integrity of the WC plumbers to relay accurate information to me, I was told by WC that my main line was done poorly and that they could redo it for me for the bargain price of $8500. Since I really didn't have any reason to disbelieve them at the time, I took them for their word. They got me to believe that Miracle had done a poor job so I called Miracle to have them take a look. They came out and inspected the line free of charge and didn't see a problem.

I don't live in the Monrovia area, so it wasn't easy for me to get out there to meet anyone during the middle of the day, but Miracle Rooter came out in force when I was able to be out there. They brought three guys who patiently explained to me the lies that WC was telling me, and they helped me avoid being possibly scammed for yet another $5,500 that WC wanted for a claim that I had a bunch of raw sewage under my house due to a broken pipe which was a complete fabrication.

I am sorry if this is a review bashing WC more than praising Miracle Rooter, but I am still very angry at my naiveté and WC's lack of humanity. The guys at Miracle were happy to go under the house, do a free inspection, and wouldn't take any money from me. I did see them get rather heated though when the WC ""plumbers"" impugned the work of Miracle and they were also very upset that WC was tarnishing the reputation of all plumbers by their business practices. I still guilty that I believed WC rather than sticking with the good guys at Miracle, but like Darth Vader I eventually found the light side again after being manipulated by the dark side of ""plumbers"".

I can't recommend Miracle Rooter enough because they struck me as more than good plumbers, they are also good people too with impeccable ethics in a business that most of us are ignorant about which can lead to scammers looking to screw people over. I am exceptionally fortunate in that I own a couple of homes, and I am even more blessed that those homes are within the geographic areas that Miracle Rooter services. I will only call them in the future, and I hope you do too as I think you will be happy with their service and that they back up their work. If you choose to go somewhere else please consider that you aren't just buying the work of the person. You also want a good warranty for the work they do and a company that will be around in ten years to back that work up.

I came through to write this review and thank the Miracle Rooter Plumbing company ... when I was having a major leak in my house and I called 3 other companies which were advertising that they work 24/7 and they turned me down by telling me they don't have technicians around at this time but Mr. Kevin fulfilled my request by sending in he's technician in less then 30 minutes and took care of my leak problem . The technician was very professional experienced I highly recommend to give your business to Miracle Rooter Plumbing company and I'm sure you won't regret BTW I want to mention this since it was emergency service call I thought I will get charged a fortune but I was surprised by the price I paid I wasn't expecting that very reasonable price once again thank you Mr. Kevin

Wow this guys were amazing!!! Two weeks ago I had a backed up toilet and I called them around 9:00pm they showed up around 9:45 amazing got it done ... They were super nice and super fast if you want good work with a decent price call the Miracle Rooter Plumbing!!!

Where do I begin ? This company is so giving and honest with their bids it's not even funny !! They beat any other plumbers bid in the Valley !

They are on time, they do the work as they say they will and they complete the job on time and even AHEAD of time !!

They go over and above what the bid says when they find other plumbing issues and do not over charge for the extra things that they do ! How incredible and uncommon is that ?

Adolfo, Peter, Ramon, Octavio, Pablo, these men work their butts off and all with a smile !! They even explain what they are doing and why they are doing what they do, to teach and give knowledge to a female so that maybe in the future I won't be taken advantage of !

Not that I will ever call another plumbing company ever again !!
