This plumber came out and snaked my main, unplugged bathroom sink and fixed toilet that was running constantly in other bathroom. Main is still plugged and toilet is still running. When I phoned Stern the NEXT day to advise him of this, his attitude was; I told you I don't guarantee anything. I told him that it was only the next day, my toilet he said he fixed was still running and the main was still backing up. He again informed me that ""I told you I put on you're bill; no guarantees"". I then asked, ""I just want to know if you are going to make this right or not."" He said; ""No I am not"". That was the end of that. I am a disabled senior and only receive social security and he wouldn't even offer a compromise solution. Do not use this guy, he has a nasty attitude and could care less if he has a satisfied customer or not. In other words, he really took me to the cleaners. Now I have to find a way to come up with more money to get what I paid him to fix, fixed again. My late husband was a painting contractor and he did 'what ever is took to make a customer happy' even if it came out of his pocket. But then, my husband was an HONEST and ETHICAL workman. These days that seems to be a rare thing with people.

They did some work about 10 years ago and we developed an issue. We found our receipt which reflected a warranty was still in effect so we contacted them. They came back at no charge and spent a day fixing the issue. Cannot beat a company that really stands behind their work like this.

I first hired Mike Stern Plumbing to work on my home in 1987. i've never used another plumber, in four homes, since then. They installed a new kitchen fauceet for me last week. (And Anna, who someone disparaged, has been with them since the beginning, always knows who I am and is always helpful.)

I called for a Main line sewer cleaning using a coupon. Half hour before appointment someone called and claimed coupon was only for residential clients even though there was no mention of that in the localist coupon page. Bait and switch. Dont be fooled by scammers like this, take your business somewhere else.

Johnathan was terrific. Showed up on time, wore a mask and could not have been nicer. My kitchen sink would fill up with water every time I used the garbage disposal. He fixed the problem and told me what caused the problem. The bill was so so reasonable! If I have any more problems I would not hesitate call them again.

I have used Stern Plumbing for a number of plumbing jobs over the years and recently I had Sergio come out to fix a very high end floor mount unit with a hand shower. Sergio continually showed up; taking it apart and diligently looking for a part. Also, Anna, receptionist/office followed up constantly. We are still working on this but I wanted to give them the 5 stars they deserve as the last plumber gave up and left saying he couldn't help me. Give them a try; they re very professional.

This outfit is highly suspect . They charged my friend $120.00 for a $22.00 Sharkbite coupler you can get at Lowe's on Topanga Canyon . Then they used a hammer to screw up the walls all over the place and found the leak where my friend told them where it was in the first place . After $850.00 plus .... They left my friend to pay over $600.00 to repair the sloppy disastrous holes all over the house. When all they had to do was make one clean cut where you could hear the hissing from the water coming through the wall in the bathroom . Do these guys even know what they're doing or are they just out for blood?

Mike Stern Plumbing is a fabulous Plumbing Company. I have used them for three separate issues I was having at my home. They really impressed me on my latest project of getting rid of a broken water heater and replace it with a new tankless water heater. They even broke down the concrete slab that the old heater was sitting on and hauled it away for me. Steve the owner was super cool and his staff have all been great and professional. Must use.

I needed to have my sewer line under the front of my house replaced and Mike Stern Plumbing was recommended by my neighbor. I called them in the morning and Greg from the company showed and gave me an estimate that afternoon. He spent over an hour at my house going over what needed to be done and didn't try to sell me anything extra. He showed up the next morning with his crew and went to work with the trenches bursting. They did an amazing job replacing the clay sewer pipes and were very clean and tidy. Their work was immaculate. Greg's communication was second to none and I couldn't have been more happy with my experience. I highly recommend Greg as well as Mike Stern Plumbing. They will be my go to guys from here on out.
