Anne J.I've been using Kimble Plumbing for seven years for a variety of services in order to upgrade my plumbing. They have replaced my water heater, my toilets and installed sinks and fixtures. They are great! The service is wonderful and the plumbers are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend them.
Mark B.Once again Edgar from Mike Kimble Plumbing saves the day. Professionally replacing Leaking shower valves. Totally the Best
Beware of the ""RELIABLE SERVICE"" portion of their website or when they tell you ""WE GUARANTEE OUR WORK"" claim. One star is an overly generous rating, so please take the two minutes it requires to read this honest review.
When we remodeled our house 3 years ago, a different plumbing subcontractor failed to adequately secure the single handle kitchen sink faucet assembly which eventually worked loose from the counter top.
Instead of using the same guy again, we called Kimble to come secure it and address additional plumbing issues in a couple bathrooms, FOR WHICH THEY WERE WELL PAID.
After about a year and a half (which apparently voids any labor guarantee) it came loose again, so we called Kimble to come back and tighten it down, FOR WHICH THEY WERE PAID, AGAIN.
That lasted not even two weeks, before it came loose once again. We called Kimble and they came back to tighten it down yet again, FOR WHICH THEY EXPECTED TO BE PAID YET AGAIN. Needless to say, I did not pay the plumber onsite. Then I received a hilarious phone call demanding payment from the rude, unprofessional and combative Jennifer, who eventually hung up on me when basic logic caused a short circuit in her information processing (picture the Fembots demise at the hands of Austin Powers.)
Anyway, as the saying goes, you can't have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent, so the following FACTS were of little use...
1) Guaranteed means you are responsible for your work. Period.
2) The second plumber specifically admitted he simply could not get it tight enough because of the tight space and lack of a long enough wrench, but that time he spent was still included in the paid invoice.
3) The third plumber claimed to be here for 2 hours, for which they wanted to bill us, despite his actual time working on the fixture of 1.5 hours. In case you missed it, that 1.5 hours was re-doing the work of the second plumber.
4) The faucet never had any function issues, only installation issues. Nonetheless, because I asked Moen to send new parts in case the plumber wanted to use them, in Jennifer's mind that meant the entire thing was defective and therefore the issue, rather than her plumbers' repeated failures.
The funniest part is that we were going to use these guys to completely re-plumb an outlying studio we are remodeling into a permitted ""granny flat"", with full bath and kitchen, all to be tied into water and sewer, for which they would have made PLENTY OF MONEY. They chose instead, as my wife said, ""to die on their little hill"" of horrible customer service.
Any rebuttal to these truths will likely derive from their twisted interpretation of the facts detailed here. Remember, there is no such thing as ""alternative facts"". Moreover, perusing many of the reviews here on YELP, apparently our experience is not unique.
Cut your losses now and call Rhino Plumbing instead.
Noel C.Pretty sad to have to write this however I had the displeasure of meeting Hector today... it started with them banging on the door to tell us our water would be off till 1pm which is fine in the case of an emergency situation for the neighbor! Then my neighbor across the way called me to inform me one representative was knocking down a wall and another was moving my property so my husband who was leaving with our daughter walks outside with me and tells the representatives that it was rude to move someone's property without informing the property owner and Hector begins shouting at my husband (whose still holding our one year old daughter) that he is rude for calling him rude and that he shouldn't be ""coming at him"" like that. His co worker begins to tell him to calm down and to drop it however Hector continued shouting at my husband and then tells him to ""go F*** himself!"" At which point my husband responds and simply walks away. This whole time I am trying to move our property out of the way for them to work without obstacles and I apologize and explain that my husband is simply upset because it is inconsiderate to move someone's things without asking and the Hector begins to shout at me! I am 5'5 and Hector must be at least 6 foot so to have this grown man shouting at me at 930 in the morning while I'm still in my pajamas just after my husband left was pretty scary I have to admit! Thankfully my husband came back because i did NOT feel comfortable at this point! My neighbor across the way even began trying to video tape just in case!!! I became very uncomfortable and walked to my neighbors house that was receiving the service and kindly asked them to have the representative leave. Hector stood by his work truck still shouting things at me and the other rep was telling Hector to not worry about it and that he's ""got his back"" all while I tried to discuss the situation with my neighbor. My husband thankfully called the company and spoke with Jason and asked him to have the reps leave our property as we did not feel safe with them there. My five year old son even asked why the man was being mean... I honestly can not believe this representative considers themselves a professional nor can I believe that a company has such a representative.
David M.Relatively responsive, but what I liked most about these guys, or at least the one who visited me, was his integrity. Told me the truth, not a hype to inflate the bill, and not only do I appreciate that, I've already recommended them to other people. Best compliment, wouldn't you say?
Doug B.Mike Kimble Plumbing is the best! They have been my go-to plumber for my commercial kitchen for years. They most recently helped me in a pinch when my water heater tank blew out. Their technician was on site the same day and assessed the issue. They got me back up and running with a new unit and we didn't miss a beat. Thank you so much for your excellent service!
Ed D.Only three reasons to choose Mike Kimble Plumbing.
COURTESY
PROFESSIONALISM
FAIR PRICING
Tracy: dispatch, office manager and I'm sure jack of all trades promised the next available plumber as all were currently busy. Carlos showed up in a reasonable time. He was courteous, clean and professional. He changed kitchen faucets with sprayer in very good time, left the work area clean and tested everything to make sure it worked as it was supposed to. Things are tough right now with Covid but if you need a plumber for any reason call Tracy at Kimble Plumbing. Don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions. Ed Diaz
I normally do not put a lot of review out there, but I have to commend Mike Kimble Plumbing for their awesome job they did at our place on Friday 4/10. We had both our kitchen and bathroom sink completely backed up. We tried everything to try to get it undone to no avail. I called them Friday to be greeted with a cheerful and very helpful voice, told that they had some appointments before but would be out as soon as possible. Called up a little bit later and said she had a guy clear and heading out to us. They arrived and checked out what we had going on and went to work on our problem. Fixed it quick and got us set. Thank you for everything, and for having the best staff! It's hard sometimes and especially with what's going on right now to be efficient, courteous, and timely.
You will be my first call for anything we need along with any of my friends and family!
Thank you again!
Steve
Sabrina T.Had my water heater stop working over the weekend and wasn't sure what was wrong with it. With it being a newer water heater, I called a Mike Kimble's plumbers and they told me it was most likely the thermocouple that had gone and they could come service it first thing Sunday morning at 8 AM. I was shocked they were able to accommodate me so quickly. Edgar showed up right on time and came out and took a look and wasn't able to get the pilot to light. Upon his inspection, he saw a little water in the holding pan and told me the water heater was shot. Knowing we were renters and I wasn't authorized to replace the entire heater, he advised me to get in touch with the property owner and inform him of the situation. Feeling bad for us, he told me the least he could do is not charge us. It's this level of personalized service and humanity that will make Mike Kimble plumbers stand out in my mind and I will Be actively referring them to friends and family. Thanks for having Edgar on your team, he truly stood out in our time of need.
I called and arranged a plumber to be at my house at 3:30 ""or after"" today. I made this appointment on Tuesday. I even called earlier today (Thursday) from work to be sure that this time was set and was told it was. I left work early and was at home by 3:15. Apparently, they called my cell at 3:59pm to say they had a plumber available. However, I missed the call (getting ready for the plumber) and by the time I called back they said the plumber was no longer available and they couldn't send one out until tomorrow. My expectation, which I articulated on the phone to them earlier in the day, was that the plumber would arrive at 3:30 or after. So no plumber available - so no business from me. I cancelled. I guess the Yelp reviews are right on.
