So my water 6 yo water heater decided to fail on a random Wednesday morning. After processing what this means to my finances this month I started calling plumbers. Not a fun task as a single woman- pink tax . The first was super responsive and sent someone out within an hour. I have a power vent water heater which is pricy. I know. I've already bought one (my third water heater in 17 years here). The quote mind boggling $6970.... I won't name the outfit but that is OUTRAGEOUS. Then he started negotiating the price with me. Yep that's when he lost me. You come back $1400 lighter ???you tried to bilk me out of an obvious upcharge beyond your normal upcharge. NOPE not this girl. Called another and the phone quote was $3000-$3500. Sign me up. Mike Kimble plumbing is a stand up honest business. They completed my job closer to the lower end of the estimate and Rene was so professional. He helped me know what to do to extend the life of the unit and didn't treat me like an opportunity to pad the bottom line. Plus the hot shower I had today was the best!!

I had a huge pipe burst/leak last night and I decided to give Mike Kimble Plumbing a call at about 8:30 AM today. They had someone out to me in the next 15 minutes. A huge home saver, I really appreciate the customer service from the amazing receptionist and Justin who came over to work on my burst/leak. They were quick, polite, and very reasonable on the cost, thank you!

So my water heater was leaking & I was due to work out of town. I called my Realtor brother , as I do for any homeowner needs on recommendations for someone.
He said "" Kimble will get it done!""
The woman I spoke to was so nice. I called Wed night. She said ""
We are booked tomorrow , but I'll try""...
I let her know I'd be out of town, but that I could leave a key to garage ( where water heater is) in a lockbox.
Well They came Thursday ... I just got home on Saturday. It's all completed, all cleaned up spotless & my water is hot!!!

If you're looking for the best plumber available, look no further. I guarantee you the dudes at Mike Kimble Plumbing will get it done quickly and effectively. My wife and I had a slab leak problem at our apartment, and the management company called out the guys from Mike Kimble. The first plumber who came out, Edgar, was super knowledgeable and was able to identify the problem almost immediately. Then, Mike and Tyler came out to do the repairs. These dudes worked super hard, and it was at the end of their work day, and had to work after hours to get the problem solved. It was difficult to locate exactly where the leak was, but these guys got it done, and they put up with me being nosey and curious, so extra kudos there. But the one thing that makes these guys stand out is that they will do the job the right way, regardless of how long it takes. The reason there was a leak in the first place was because the last plumber used an uponor plastic fitting(thanks for the info, Edgar), and the guy attached it to the copper pipe under the concrete slab. That's the easy way out, and when Mike and Tyler got here and discovered the issue, they told me, and I quote, ""we would never do the job this way no matter what. If someone demanded it, we would just turn the job down right there."" That speaks to the quality of this company, they won't do anything for a quick buck, they take pride in their work and believe in the right way of doing things or not doing it at all. That's who you're hiring. And that's who I'm going to hire for any of my plumbing needs from now on.

Thank God for Mike Kimble Plumbing! Every time we've had a plumbing problem they're able to get to us immediately or within a very short time! Mike's employees are Always personable, kind, friendly and Always professional!
Their work is always correct and upgraded to today's standards since our home is older.
I've had to call them when we were out of town and our tenants had problems and the took car of everything perfectly!
We'll never call anyone else!
