I have used MK Plumbing at both my home and business - they have always sent out the nicest plumbers and have always gone the extra mile to make sure my plumbing issues are remedied. I can't say enough about their product or employees. It is so nice to know I can always count on them to be there.

Plumber came on November 9th,
He had specific jobs to do. Fix under sink. @He disconnected water, after replacing angle stop, the dishwasher didn't work after he left, my husband fixed it.
Replace front and back hose .The one in the front caused a leak. When we complained Mike Kimble sent the same guy to fix the leak. Not only did he not fix it, he had a bad attitude about fixing the mistake. He made it worse. Now sprinkler bill is $300 and it's not resolved, we have to call another plumber to completely replace the pipe that he broke. Mike Kimble gave us an adjustment, but their plumber broke everything he was supposed to fix.
So , thanksgiving is next week and we still have a problem. So we have a bill from Mike Kimble and $300 to sprinkler repair. Mike Kimble caused the problem. We will never use him again.

My wife reached out to this business and scheduled an appointment for a few small items we needed assistance with. Nothing that is complex that an experienced plumber hasn't done thousands of times.
Plumber showed up after 9 and their business is 6 min away. He did a couple of items decently but then got to connecting a line to a dishwasher that was successfully installed a few weeks ago. He fumbled with it for 15 min and then said a new line is needed. Uhmmm, no it was just connected successfully 10 min ago. Then he realized he was putting it in backwards. I guess we were sent the smart one. My wife then finds him chatting with another worker in the house at 11:30 and comments that it seems you're done now. He said he was still needing to write up the bill but was in no hurry. Finally he goes out to the truck to write up the bill and comes back at 11:45 and his bill was 8:30 to past noon. What? you're adding time before and after, that's called padding the bill and is incredibly unethical. Owner was called to explain situation and his response is you have to pay travel time at $130/hr rate. Funny how no one else operates that way. Between the inconsiderate attitude, juicing the bill, and the incompetence I would highly recommend you go to someone else. It's amazing when I'm not home how these so-called professionals think they can take advantage of my wife.

if you have a Tankless Water these are the guys to call. We had a Rennai System Installed as part of a whole house remodel about a year ago. The Plumbing Sub was not on the Rennai List of designated Plumbers (our fault),and did a terrible job of installing it without a number of the necessary bells and whistles and we started having problems from the get go. From the plumbers we called we got more questions than answers and repair costs mounted as each had his own suggestions for repair. We have subsequently learned that Rennai has stopped recommending these units for beach side users like us at the Oxnard Shores, and weren't much help in giving our various past plumbers proper guidance to diagnose or repair these highly sophisticated and complicated systems. We suffered from months with what they call a cold water sandwich where the hot water all of a sudden turns cold for no apparent reason and stays cold until you turn off the water and wait 30 minutes before you get another 5 minutes of hot water. We spent almost $1,000 replacing many needless parts until we found Mike Kimble Plumbing. His guys came out diagnosed the problem immediately and replaced a $30 part that was defective that did not block the cold water from overtaking the hotwater flow. From now on we will only use these guys for the annual maintenance for our system or whenever we may need a repair.

The plumber spent time trying to snake a drain this way and that. Admitted he didn't have the proper tools (a snake with a camera). Was unable to clear to the block. Still charged us $400 and said next time we should ask the company to send out someone with the appropriate tool.

Once again Edgar from Mike Kimble Plumbing saves the day. Professionally replacing Leaking shower valves. Totally the Best

Beware of the ""RELIABLE SERVICE"" portion of their website or when they tell you ""WE GUARANTEE OUR WORK"" claim. One star is an overly generous rating, so please take the two minutes it requires to read this honest review.
When we remodeled our house 3 years ago, a different plumbing subcontractor failed to adequately secure the single handle kitchen sink faucet assembly which eventually worked loose from the counter top.
Instead of using the same guy again, we called Kimble to come secure it and address additional plumbing issues in a couple bathrooms, FOR WHICH THEY WERE WELL PAID.
After about a year and a half (which apparently voids any labor guarantee) it came loose again, so we called Kimble to come back and tighten it down, FOR WHICH THEY WERE PAID, AGAIN.
That lasted not even two weeks, before it came loose once again. We called Kimble and they came back to tighten it down yet again, FOR WHICH THEY EXPECTED TO BE PAID YET AGAIN. Needless to say, I did not pay the plumber onsite. Then I received a hilarious phone call demanding payment from the rude, unprofessional and combative Jennifer, who eventually hung up on me when basic logic caused a short circuit in her information processing (picture the Fembots demise at the hands of Austin Powers.)
Anyway, as the saying goes, you can't have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent, so the following FACTS were of little use...
1) Guaranteed means you are responsible for your work. Period.
2) The second plumber specifically admitted he simply could not get it tight enough because of the tight space and lack of a long enough wrench, but that time he spent was still included in the paid invoice.
3) The third plumber claimed to be here for 2 hours, for which they wanted to bill us, despite his actual time working on the fixture of 1.5 hours. In case you missed it, that 1.5 hours was re-doing the work of the second plumber.
4) The faucet never had any function issues, only installation issues. Nonetheless, because I asked Moen to send new parts in case the plumber wanted to use them, in Jennifer's mind that meant the entire thing was defective and therefore the issue, rather than her plumbers' repeated failures.
The funniest part is that we were going to use these guys to completely re-plumb an outlying studio we are remodeling into a permitted ""granny flat"", with full bath and kitchen, all to be tied into water and sewer, for which they would have made PLENTY OF MONEY. They chose instead, as my wife said, ""to die on their little hill"" of horrible customer service.
Any rebuttal to these truths will likely derive from their twisted interpretation of the facts detailed here. Remember, there is no such thing as ""alternative facts"". Moreover, perusing many of the reviews here on YELP, apparently our experience is not unique.
Cut your losses now and call Rhino Plumbing instead.

Pretty sad to have to write this however I had the displeasure of meeting Hector today... it started with them banging on the door to tell us our water would be off till 1pm which is fine in the case of an emergency situation for the neighbor! Then my neighbor across the way called me to inform me one representative was knocking down a wall and another was moving my property so my husband who was leaving with our daughter walks outside with me and tells the representatives that it was rude to move someone's property without informing the property owner and Hector begins shouting at my husband (whose still holding our one year old daughter) that he is rude for calling him rude and that he shouldn't be ""coming at him"" like that. His co worker begins to tell him to calm down and to drop it however Hector continued shouting at my husband and then tells him to ""go F*** himself!"" At which point my husband responds and simply walks away. This whole time I am trying to move our property out of the way for them to work without obstacles and I apologize and explain that my husband is simply upset because it is inconsiderate to move someone's things without asking and the Hector begins to shout at me! I am 5'5 and Hector must be at least 6 foot so to have this grown man shouting at me at 930 in the morning while I'm still in my pajamas just after my husband left was pretty scary I have to admit! Thankfully my husband came back because i did NOT feel comfortable at this point! My neighbor across the way even began trying to video tape just in case!!! I became very uncomfortable and walked to my neighbors house that was receiving the service and kindly asked them to have the representative leave. Hector stood by his work truck still shouting things at me and the other rep was telling Hector to not worry about it and that he's ""got his back"" all while I tried to discuss the situation with my neighbor. My husband thankfully called the company and spoke with Jason and asked him to have the reps leave our property as we did not feel safe with them there. My five year old son even asked why the man was being mean... I honestly can not believe this representative considers themselves a professional nor can I believe that a company has such a representative.
