The first Mike D. plumber broke my dishwasher connection when he installed my leaking disposal for $480., the second plumber wanted $550 to replace the broken air gap, My handyman fixed it for $80. Never again even if you smell good.

I guess the commercial was too good to be true!!! No they weren't on time and they even called me an hour after they were supposed to get here to let me know they have been busy with ""bigger"" jobs for the past few days and weren't going to be able to make it. I guess that's what happens when you get too big. No communication with service reps and dispatch. Dispatch should have known that and let me know right away. Not after I lost a whole day and now need to find another plumbing ASAP! Never calling them again.

All I have to say is I've never had someone try to rob me the way this company did. I called for $99 clog removal they came and tried and couldn't do they said they needed to check with camera come back tomorrow but didn't, so we called,so they came back and checked, by this time there were 4 guys know and they said my drain was broken in two places all the way to the street and it would cost me $19,000 to fix and they charged me $1500 for the two days service call. I called another plumber and he came and looked with the camera and found no breaks,just a section of pipes under the house that needed to be replaced and raised, also fixed a leak from my shower under the house.it took them 1 day and no digging up my yard, and he gave me a life time warranty on the work he did. I won't say how much it cost but it was below $4,000. After I called the the better business to report and then called Mike Diamond back and told them what I did and was going to call the contractors license board they agreed to return me some of my money. NEVER AGAIN

I did use them for a plumbing sewage main line clean out and it was as advertised the $99 Dollar special. I had no issues with the plumbers. We noticed they also electrical work so we called them again for an estimate on a electrical job and and an estimate to replace our outdated electrical box for our home. The electricain arrived quoted me a $1300 quote to troubleshoot my electrical issues and a $10,000.00 estimate to replace my electrical box. Long story short i ended up getting the box replaced for $2000. Be careful with these guys.

Believe the reviews. 12/18 Had $99 clean out. 12/20 backed up again and called MD back. 12/20 - $399 just to run a camera and cable. Next came the closer...His boss came our and said $1350 to have the roots cleaned out and that he wouldn't let ""his guy"" ruin his camera any further as it almost got stuck. (4-hours later) MD plumber get's frustrated waiting 4 hours for the high presser jet root removal folks. Turns out they are subcontractors.
After waiting 4 hours, he told me, ""he was quitting"" because his boss called and said the sub wouldn't have a guy out until AFTER Christmas. He also told me where the issue was . He suggested I call ANY other service OTHER than MD and he left--No Charge. I called ARS/Rescue rooter and the issue got solved the next morning for less than 400 bucks. So at least I didn't get taken for 1350 bucks and was only out 100 bucks to MD. The rep was defensive to me and rude to my neighbors, when asked to move his truck so they could get out of their driveway. (he straddled both properties with his truck while waiting) I want my 100 bucks back I would never want to interact with anyone from that company ever again...even for a refund. I consider this a $100 dollar life lesson. Buyer Beware. This is a classic scam.

ZERO STARS should be an option! Wished we had been to Yelp before we called these thieves!

We have a tiny ""California basement"" where the furnace and a 50 gallon water heater resided. The water heater began to leak and while my husband is capable of replacing it, we decided we would call in professionals and just get it done quickly and professionally. We called Mike Diamond because their ads claim to be ""professional"" and they claim that their repair trucks carry all the parts needed so they won't need to make multiple Home Depot runs ""like the other guys do"". We assumed they would be a BIT more expensive but we wanted it done right and fast. We can't live without hot water!

The plumber was on time and while he wore too much cologne, he seemed like a nice enough guy. The quote was high because allegedly our 13 year old water heater was not fully up to current code. So that was a shocker, but we agreed to the work and opted to pay the extra fee to relocate the water heater to the exterior to avoid indoor leaks in the future.

Long story short, you're paying for premium professional services and you're basically getting a handyman with inferior tools who cannot complete the work alone nor on time and then has the audacity to reuse several of our old plumbing parts and repeatedly nickel and dime us when he does have to provide any new parts, which by the way, my husband had to go to Home Depot for as the truck did not have the parts! A job that probably should've been $1500 cost over $4000! Outrageous. We were without hot water for 3 days.

After the bills were paid.... turns out They overcharged us on City building permits and when we discovered this to demand a refund, they only issued a partial refund because apparently they charge $70+ just to stand in line to obtain said permit. BS!

Bait & switch! Overpriced! Never ever call these guys!

They were schedule around 2:0 pm today. Waited until 3:30 no call, no show! Cancelled them. At 4:00 a Mike Diamond plumber shows up. Says he's there for a different purpose and customer...we told him we cancelled him at 3:30, that is when he got the call to come. He called in, confusion from office and left! We are still without hot water/heater!!! I don't know if he smelled good, but was clean and neat...no apology or anything...just left!

This company should be called extortion plumbing. Called them to have someone replace a simple flapper and pipe in our toilet in which the parts cost about $50 TOTAL. Guy came in an quoted $500 to do the job! When i told them no thanks, they charged me $76 just to come in and try to rip me off. Stay far away from these guys.

Could not make an appointment for 36 hours not at all like the ad then after 24 hours they call and cancel my appointment stating that they do not work on GE water heaters weird that they did not know that when they made my appointment to come fix my hot water problem
