Please let me leave ZERO stars, Called, was told that plumber would show up before 1pm, they showed up at 330pm, then they told me that they could not run the snake because I did not have a clean out and they don't pull the toilets, Tried to sell me a clean out for $2800.00 I just wanted to have them clear the clog. The guys were nice enough but clearly they didn't want to work on a friday afternoon.

Rather than doing unnecessary, costly work, Panfilo told me to call someone else more suited to the job. My neighbor above me on the hill and I share the same sewer line and he called Mike Diamond this morning about a backup. I had already been looking at other plumbers on Yelp so I looked them up and was worried about all the 1 star reviews. Thankfully, when Panfilo came out for the service call this morning, well within the window they gave me, he was completely straightforward and honest. He explained that though this job did not qualify for the $99 deal, the camera my neighbor had asked for was not needed and hydro-jetting the line would be overkill. He advised me to save the money and call a rooter company instead.

don't bother calling Mike Diamond Plumbing if you have stairs, ""they don't do stairs!"" who doesn't have stairs in their house?

Our master bathroom shower was backing up every couple months and the drain clearing products didn't seem to ever totally eliminate the problem. We were going to leave it until we remodeled the bathroom but then our kitchen sink backed up.

Remembering the Mike Diamond ""smell good plumbers"" ads on the radio we called Mike Diamond because we needed this taken care of ASAP because the kitchen is the heart of the home and we have a 3 year old. Mike diamond was able to get someone out there same afternoon.

The technician was polite and also put on booties on request. He seemed pretty knowledgeable, inspected our main line (saw it was clear) and power snaked both drains resolving the clogs however he did not bring up any sludge/hair/food ie the root of the problem.

Everything works 24-hours later and technician didn't leave a mess however Mike Diamond doesn't give any guarantee on their work whatsoever unless you purchase a 90-day warranty at extra cost which kind of irks me. Cost was $198 for two drains - no warranty - and technician didn't try to sell me on anything else.

If a clog reappeared within next few days I'd call them and see if they'd extend goodwill or go elsewhere. I'm a bit ambivalent...and also just read the horror stories below.

Despite having an on line scheduling function, they didn't have anyone available and said it would be another day. They need to learn to use technology. If they don't have time on the schedule, then don't offer it.

I called smell good plumbers because of their commercial $99 and we had used them to clear a sink drain in the past with no problem.

I called on a Friday and they said they would arrive Monday between 9am -1pm (before I had to leave for work). They did not arrive until 1:30 causing my wife to deal with the estimates while keeping our 2 kids occupied.

After snaking the drain and determining there was no obstruction, my wife was told that they would have to remove the toilet, clear out the pipe from the hole in the floor and it would be $465 (outrageous) so my wife called me and I spoke with the guy. I was busy at work and was reluctant to approve the work but he said that if they don't find anything wrong with the toilet then the $465 would go toward replacing the toilet with a new one so I agreed.

Once the toilet was out they showed my wife some ""gross gunk"" and the hole on the floor and said they were going to charge us $1200 to replace the flange that they had to use a mini jackhammer to get the old one up (it's on a slab). She couldn't believe the cost and confirmed with him that it was $465 to remove the toilet but $1200 to fix that little part??? He said yes.

After the 2.5 hrs of work (which includes the 1/2 hr it took them to go get the flange) they charged us a total of $1398. This included the cleaning out of the calcium in the toilet (they didn't even replace the toilet), replacing the flange and the $99 to snake the drain. That's a labor rate of $560/hr!!

The plumber gave my wife an invoice but it wasn't itemized and only included a description of the work.

I looked up flange kits on amazon and they are $20. Even if these guys charged $100 for the flange (the only part replaced) that still comes out to a rate of $519/hr!!! I got home and was disappointed that I couldn't trust a ""reputable"" company to not take advantage of my wife while I was at work.

I called to complain and was told that's what it costs to stay profitable (I guess those commercials are expensive) and that the work is quality work (which I'm not disputing) and they stand behind their work. The best I could get was $250 off the bill (down to a rate of $419/hr). I was just going to let it go and write it off a lesson learned but after a week I thought I should let others know for the chance that it may help the next person to be informed. I will be notifying the Better Business Bureau.

Well, at first I was very thrilled with the price and job that Mike Diamond's plumbers did to clear a clogged kitchen drain BUT THEN...disaster struck. Luckily, I bought the warranty which really is just an upsale to horrible work. Less than 30 days later, not only did the kitchen drain back up again, without us putting anything ridiculous down the drain, the washer backs up and floods the kitchen and the wash room. We get the plumber to come out again and long story short, he has no clue how to fix it. HOWEVER, this time he was kind enough to drill a hole in one of the pipes, without telling us, and puts a simple piece of tape on the hole, which explodes as soon as we use the sink. The kitchen floods, as we had no idea where the water was coming from, until we found the hole this inane plumber had drilled. NEVER USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Called another plumber from another company with much better ratings and problem was solved. SAVE YOURSELF some frustration and time, don't use these knuckleheads. AND they falsely advertise they are available 24/7....NOT TRUE!!!

Horrible! Someone was supposed to come out on Tuesday between 1-5 to fix my AC. Manager said the person got stuck on another job and would have him come the next day between 4-6. Called the next day to confirm before I left work early and they assured someone will be coming. Called at 5:15 to get an ETA and they said the manger would call me back. They never showed up and I never got a call from the manager. This place is fucking joke! Don't waste your time with this idiots and go somewhere else. Horrible service.

Called for a A/C service call on Monday, they scheduled me for Tuesday between 9 and 1, I was told I would receive a call with the techs name. I called them 10 after 1 asking if I missed the call or what was going on, Greg told me his techs were taking longer on calls before mine, it would be sometime before 4 that they would be out. I then called at 20 after 5 asking for an update, again Greg told me that they would be out the next day at 10. It is now 12 after 10, I had to call them to get an update. Greg explained to me his techs were turning in paperwork. Im so very tired of the CYA that they are pulling. It sounds like the techs get to do what they want when they want.
I explained to Greg that they have now missed the bar three times on this service call, thank you for wasting my time and that we will never be calling them again for any services. The service provided by them in the past was great, but something in the last few years has changed. Very sad.

Had a plumbing problem in my bathroom. Mike diamond plumber came out and before he even looked at anything said I would probably have to replace my pipes in my shower. I said I want you to try the snake first. He said he would but it probably wouldn't work and probably the pipe needs to be replaced. When I question how he would know that without going under the house and looking at the pipe to see if the pipe had previously been replaced he sort of backed up. When I told him I would talk to my husband about it if he couldn't get it to work with the snake he would go on his merry way and presto the snake worked. I do not trust this company. Would not use this company ever again!!!
