Today (5/21/17) I called Michigan Power Rodding for a clogged toilet. Britney that answered the phone told me that she could guarantee me an appointment between 3 and 6 PM. She also told me that she could probably fit me in before that. At 3 she called me and told me that I was definitely still on the schedule and they should be getting to me soon.
At 5:15 Britney called me to inform me that she would be going home soon and they would not be able to get to me today. I asked about their add and website that stated that they were a 24/7 emergency company and she didn't know what to say. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she would pass it along.
If you don't mind being lied to and strung along, then by all means give them a call. I have tried them twice for emergencies with the same results.
If you call them PLEASE have a back up plan.

Excellent work and customer service! I scheduled the appointment to clear a blockage on our main drain with a phone call in the morning, and Ryan arrived right on schedule, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had the blockage cleared and completely cleaned up. I would definitely recommend them, and will use them again if needed.

An excellent company with prompt, terrific service and excellent customer service. Ask for Norm, who is one of the nicest repair people you'll ever have in your house. We had a clogged sewer line that turned out to be a real challenge and Norm patiently spent nearly four hours unblocking it and then totally cleaning up the mess that resulted. Highly recommended.

Don't believe those good reviews because I am a victim of believing them. Make the story short, it was five days ago my main drain got clogged. After $340 (for snaking through the main drain ONLY!!!), I was told the clog persisted and was recommended to call Jack Spack to clean my septic tank which was the cause of clogging. I didn't bite the bait because the septic tank was serviced 8 months ago! (I follow religiously the experts' recommendation to clean my septic tank once every 3 years). After a stress test by using as much water as possible at the same time for an hour, I proved the service man's recommendation was a lie - a tactic to rip more cash off me. I just want to share my story to prevent more innocent people from getting ripped off by this dishonest company.

Ryan was fantastic... was patient with our questions and reassuring about keeping any mess to a minimum. Before beginning, he confirmed that he would fix the problem for the quoted price regardless of how long it took. Within a few hours of the initial phone call, our drain was cleared and the sink up and running again with a 30 day guarantee. Very happy with the service we received and will certainly call Michigan Power Rodding for any drain issues in the future!

I'll be the first to admit- I had no clue what Michigan power rodding did or what their name meant before I was referred to them by another plumber. Both Chris and Adam who helped us were amazing- Adam is my hero for going above and beyond to help us out. When nobody else was available, Adam really helped us out with our flooded basement. I still don't fully understand the name, but trust me- these are the guys you want to call if you have any drain and flooding issues.

Can't say enough good things. We had a minor flood in our laundry room and were afraid our sump pump had stopped working. Saturday night at 11 p.m., they were here within an hour. Diagnosed the problem quickly (sewer drain not sump pump) and took care of the problem quickly and carefully. They cleaned up the mess and everything was done with a smile. Fantastic experience!

Calling to make the appointment was super easy and I was given a window of time in which to expect the guys (btwn 12-3). Daniel and Steven arrived within the window, at 12:45. Both guys were courteous, dressed neatly, and put booties on their feet upon entering my home. Before starting the job, they inspected the existing plumbing to ensure it was suitable to run their tools down the line. After a quick trip to the crawl space, they determined that everything was good to go. Daniel provided the scope of work and gave me their ""upfront pricing"". Given I had contacted three other plumbers, I knew the price was reasonable and approved the amount. After the drain was clear the guys ran water for a few minutes and went to the crawl space to check for leaks...no leaks.The job took maybe 25 minutes total. I am sure clearing 15ft of pipe made a mess, but there was no evidence of that when they left. In fact, the tub appeared cleaner then it was when they got there. The tub is draining like a champ, with zero issues.

Overall, the guys were super nice, and they did an outstanding job for a reasonable price.

We needed help with plumbing urgently. We called them in the evening, left a voicemail, and got a call back in 2 minutes to schedule the appointment. They fixed the problem right away; the price was reasonable. I'd definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

Had my floor drain back up on Sunday. Michigan Power Rodding called me back promptly unlike many of the companies who didn't answer. Justin was on time on Monday pleasant, professional and dog friendly! Each time I have used them their technicians have been totally professional.
Because the problem was found to possibly be caused by roots in the main drain, the drain clean out was free of charge!
I have signed up for their root treatment service and am on a 2 year plan now for root treatment and I am very happy with their service and the fact that they stand behind their work, no questions asked!
