Michael wasn't available right away, but he stayed in contact with me on a weekend day, knowing he was my backup, in case the first plumber I had arriving, was unable to complete the task. I would easily call Michael again.

As homeowners we have used their services for nearly 20 years. Always reliable, always on time and great at communicating when to expect your workmen the day of scheduled service. Yesterday Jerry came out for a garbage disposal replacement. He was very personable and listened to our concerns with another plumbing situation and even though he didn't come out for it, made an additional repair for us. The quality of employees is a true reflection of the owner who we've met. He has come to our house a few times himself to make sure we're pleased with the work done. As long as we're in Reno and as long as Michael's is in business we'll be using their services.

Checked YELP for plumbers and chose Michael's. They were polite and responsive when I called for service. We made an appointment. They called the next day to ensure we were on for Wednesday's appointment. The morning they were to come out, they called again to say ""Jerry"" was on the way.

I showed Jerry what was needed to be fixed. He was pleasant and we talked while he fixed my leaking pipe connections on the water heater. Very professional in his work. I was very pleased with the entire process, from start to finish. The bill was lower than I expected when done and they included a senior discount as well. Thank you for be concerned and for great service quality.

I called Micael's on on a Saturday due to a very low water pressure. Dispatch sent out George and he arrived within 20 minutes of calling. George and I suspected that the low water pressure was due to pressure regulator getting clogged and broken. He went into the crawl space to take a look and before changing it out, he suggested on troubleshooting the main water shutoff. We both went to take a look and found that the city had installed new water meters and left the meter 3/4 turned off. (Left meter is neighbors, right is after George turned it on).

I really appreciate that they not only sent out someone on a timely manner but George's honesty about the actually problem. He could have easily turned on the main water and charged for installing a new pressure regulator.

I had an emergency over Thanksgiving and no one could help or answer. My sink was so clogged and the pipes bursted leaking water all over the floor: I called up Michael's and it was fast, quick,professional, and way better than the competitors.
Plus, they told me that last person who worked on our sink put the incorrect size and that's why we had constant leaks.

Our downstairs furnace went out last week. Called Michaels because they have done other work in our house and we trust them to be accurate and fair. We had to wait several days because they are really busy but was willing to do so as I did not want to risk using another service. The technician showed up today and had it up and running in less than a half hour. While he was in there he cleaned a few things in addition to fixing the faulty part to save us having to have them out again later. Socially distanced and covid conscious and the guy clearly knew what he was doing. My neighbors have used them as well in the past and had nothing but great things to say. Highly recommend

Great service began with the initial call. The office gal was on it! After a brief hold she had me scheduled with the right person to assess my somewhat odd request. The next day they arrived within the designated time window and set me up for repairs the next day. The technician arrived as scheduled and was very friendly and professional and charges were reasonable. I have used Michael's twice now in four years. First was a plugged drain now this repair. Very happy with the entire operation. Will utilize them every time!

We contacted several plumbers in the Reno Sparks area to replace our existing water heater with a tankless water heater, and Michael's was on of the 3 that actually responded. They answered several questions that we had regarding their company, and their processes.
The day before and the prior to the actual estimate appointment time we received calls from the office for confirmation.
Michael came out himself to perform the estimate. I told him that I wanted to install a Noritz tankless water heater, and even though he had not installed the model we wanted, he assured me that they could install it without issues. He walked me through the process of the removal and installation of the tankless. With parts, labor and permit. When asked ""how soon could this be done"" Michael informed me of their schedule, and indicated that it would be a 2.5-3 weeks from the time the proposal was excepted. I appreciated the honesty here, we were not in an emergency situation, and had no problem waiting a couple weeks.
The day before and the morning of the install, we received calls from their office for confirmation, so they could dispatch their crew.
Their crew was set to arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning, and arrived close to 8. We showed them to the work area and let them do their thing. Several hours later, we had a new tankless water heater installed in our garage. David, the supervisor, went over the ""remote"" and how to raise/lower the water temp as needed. He also allowed us to video him, when he explained how to perform the required service of the unit.
There were two ""hic-ups"" to the install. 1) two of the pipes caulking were not completed and 2) the pressure overflow valve in the drive way was not to code. In both instances Michael himself came out and resolved the issue in a few short minutes. Even though the install wasn't perfect I give Michael's 5 stars, because of the excellent service and coming out and addressing the two issue so quickly and professionally.
We will be recommending Michael's to our friends and others that are looking for plumber recommendations.

Very disappointed in Michael's Plumbing. Waited for 11 days to get an appointment. We were very thorough telling them what work we needed, and we also had all the supplies we needed to complete the work. The technician came, and worked for two hours in our kitchen, then announced that we would need to make another appointment ourselves for the remaining work in the bathroom. No shower help provided at all. He left. This was the 8th of the month. We were told that they could come back on the 24th. We were shocked. No shower until then? Two hours is all we were given? $300+ bill. When we complained to the scheduler, they called us back saying the owner Leslie said they could fit us back in NEXT FRIDAY. (another week?) Not satisfied. Not recommending Michael's Plumbing. DID NOT FINISH THE JOB....

Needed flat roof drains snaked out to improve drainage. The two workers were on time, competent, worked hard and did a good job. I'd use them again. Getting a quote and paying the bill was very confusing. First I was told it was a time/material quote of $110/hour. When other companies I'd contacted with lower quotes called me and said their quotes would be double because they were sending two men, I called Michaels to confirm their quote. I was told by the office personnel that the job would be at the $110/hr rate, but there would be a diagnostic charge of $25. I knew I didn't need any diagnosis, so I signed up with Michaels since they didn't double the cost. When it came to pay, they did want to double the bill for two men. I said no, and they only charged the $110/hr rate. Good for them, but their office is all screwed up with pricing information.
