I was in a bind when we woke to no heat. With a blizzard on the way and a 17 month old we were nervous. I called a few places but no one called back or couldn't come out until after the storm except Michael and Sons. Our electrician Todd Krems was on time, helpful and nice. He wore gloves and booties while in my house to assure he didn't stand anything in. Bonus points in my book. He fixed our issue immediately and gave us advice. We will absolutely use Michael and Sons again.

If I could give 0 stars I would... We had michael and sons come to check an issue with our blinking lights. The man said it would be at most 400 dollars if he had to change a bunch of things. He worked for about 1.5 hours and found no issue and said he tightened some connections. He went to charge me and it was 402 dollars, I argued saying how is that possible seeing as he worked for 1.5hrs and didn't really do anything. He said well ll it turns into a level 2 job since he crawled in the attic? WHAT? you have got to be kidding me. I then asked for an itemized receipt to prove what he was charging me for. He would not give me that and played on his computer thing for 20 more minutes just to tell me some dumb explanation. Sooo incredibly dissapoint ed and annoyed with this company,never again will I call them for service! Oh and btw, lights are blinking still so he didn't even fix a thing.

Overpriced and deceptive!
We were told when making the appointment they would not quote an hourly rate (red flag), the plumber would give us a price when he looked at it, and if we chose not to have him do the work there would be no charge. His estimate was $1,050 which we declined, knowing how high that was. He then said there would be $89 service call. When we protested, he just said ok. Hmmm... we contacted First Choice Plumbing who did the work, plus additional work that Michael's did not quote on, for less than $500.

I am a real estate agent managing the repairs for a client. I called Michael & Son for estimates on the substantial work needed throughout the home. (electrical, plumbing and HVAC) The technicians were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and took care that they were completing the job properly. I haven't had any issues with timeliness or customer service. They have truly done an excellent job, and I know my client has also been very impressed by them.

I had read mixed reviews about Michael & Son but I had a coupon so I tried them anyway. I called on Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday morning. There is a $29 dispatch fee whether you get work done or not. I was given a time frame of 8-12. The plumber called around 8 to tell me he would be there in 45 minutes. When he arrived, not only did he wear boot covers, he brought his own Michael & Son doormat to place outside of the door to stand on while he put the boot covers on. I love this!

The plumber was very knowledgeable and he offered additional home maintenance suggestions without being pushy or overbearing. He fixed my leaky pipe very quickly and the price wasn't too painful ($219 total for parts, labor and dispatch fee). Someone from the company called shortly after the plumber left to make sure that I was satisfied. I would use them again.

We have used Michael and Sons now for a few years. They are reliable, come on time, explain in detail everything they do. They answer all my questions and are careful to make sure I understand the information they give me.
I have never had a bad experience with this company.
I would highly recommend them.

Scheduled an appointment on a Wednesday for Friday. Was given a window of 2-6 pm, and was told that the technician would call ahead of arrival. At 5:50, with no call and no technician, I called them back. I was shuffled on hold for a few minutes and told that the sales representative wasn't answering their phone. They offered to send someone else, that should arrive in about thirty minutes. After already waiting four hours, I had no interest in waiting longer. I was a bit surprised that they made no offers to try and keep my business.

Amazing company! I have never been disappointed by their service. Ted came to my house yesterday to replace a garbage disposal and water tank, he was very clean, knowledgeable, professional and he loved my dog! I will continue to use Michael and Sons for any of my home repair needs! All I can say is you get what you pay for!
