Recommended Customer Reviews

Called MSP for an emergency over the weekend for a flood in my property and they did not only come rapidly and solve my issue, they followed up and had great customer service. I highly recommend Armando (also known as Jose) as your plumber. Very efficient!!!! Thanks!!!!

0. these cheats did unnecessary repairs at prices inflated way beyond their quotes and i hope they get more of their equipment stolen, so they do not wreak havoc on other customers!

Kenny Kotalik is an unethical business man, he doesn't care about his customers or doing a good job, this company is also not BBB accredited. I encountered the following issues: * Kenny did not want to pay out for people to do the job properly. He sent one employee for the final install who was not able to pick up the water heater himself, my boyfriend had to do it for him. * This employee did not know anything about sink drains, and incorrectly told me the Moen set I provided would not work. Kenny Kotalik got involved without even being there, supporting his employee, insisting I had bought the wrong product. I was yelled at and told I needed to purchase a certain type of drain, and put under pressure with their time costs, had me driving all over Fort Lauderdale, wasting my time. My boyfriend ended up installing 3 bathroom sink drains himself after looking at the manual, (which all passed final inspections). At the end of the day Kenny Kotalik's 'plumbing specialist' told my boyfriend who had never fitted a drain, or plumbing experience, """"you taught me something new today"""". * The garbage disposal fitted made a jack hammer noise which Kenny Kotalik refused to address, not caring about further cost to me - manufacturer technician was called out, confirming the same plumber did not install correctly, and had not removed the seal. * The most upsetting discovery now is going back to Kenny Kotalik telling him that one toilet is not fitted properly, we discovered that the toilet bowl was not bolted down, so there is leaking, providing a sewer like odor in the bathroom and sent photos of this clear plumbing error/neglect. He told us today he is not sending anyone, """"find another plumber"""", after saying he would yesterday and then blocked our numbers. This is definitely a business you should not consider using, not professional at all, a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I am not alone, take a look at the other reviews.

Miami Shores Plumbing is by far, the best plumbing company I've ever dealt with. Hot water heater went out at home and I called around. They made an appointment with me and were on time. Old equipment was removed and new was installed. No mess to clean up. The technician was a pleasant guy. Of course, I hope I never need another plumber but I'll call them again if I do. You don't get this kind of service anymore in South Florida.

I would not recommend this company at all. We had a problem with our shower that was not only fixed by the plumber they sent but also left undone and with more problems then before. The plumber was dirty, and didn't care about being careful how to place his heavy metal tools around our bathroom vanities and floor. He said he needed a piece, instead of calling to the shop making sure they would have what he needed (suggested by us but refused by him to do so), he just left in the middle of the work for about 40 min and came back with nothing, because the shop did not have the piece. He left our house without fixing or really doing anything. Today Miami Shores Plumbing charged us (without any communication) $187.50 for NOTHING! We will NEVER use them again!!!

I've used MSP for seven years, ever since I purchased my home in the shores. Won't be using them again. The guys who came out are friendly and efficient. But unfortunately what they quote you and charge you changes depending on what they want to get out of you. I was told $150/HR plus materials. So the labor wasn't the 3 hours plus materials they had quoted at $625. They arrived at 11:30 and were done by 1:05 pm. My bill should have been around $350 to $400 according to the managers explanation of the breakdown. But no, I still got charged $625 because they sent two people out instead of one. Which was never mentioned at any point until I asked why my bill wasn't adjusted. Will definitely listen to the nextdoor website reviews and other neighbors recommendations and use anyone but them next time.

Absolutely horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Charged me more than discussed. Never use them!

As soon as i called MSP they had Good and fair prices. It was Monday night and I needed a plumber right away to come to my residence with an hour they were at my house. They provided me with a quote before starting the job was even started it was a great experience with them. The work was fast and will done and my issue was resolved & complete I would DEFINITELY recommend!! for all Plumber needs.

I've been ripped off for the last time by MSP. Been using them for years over the past 10 years for my 2 businesses and my personal home. 2 months to fix my shower and a $2000 bill? I let it go and moved on. $15000 bill for a bill to my business for excavating the wrong direction even though plans were hand delivered to you. Also forgiven. Now a bill for $900 to fix a dishwasher and to fix an electric hand sink? It finally made me boil over and see the light. Everyone needs to stay away from this company unless you are in need to fill their money pit. Thank me later.

Review is not for plumbing work, never got to that point. This is supposed to be a professional business, not some one man show. So I expected a professional response. I'm remodeling my house in Miami Shores. I called them on 6/27 (Mon) and talked with Junior. Told him I need my house completely replumbed, a toilet and shower relocated, a new shower pan, a new on-demand water heater, and a new service supply line from the meter to the house. Not a small job by any means. I send him the project plans as he requested. The following day he emails saying he's working on a quote for me. Three (3) days later (Fri 6/30) I receive an email from Jose saying he needs to visit the work site to inspect sewer lines before he can accurately quote the job. I replied by email and said I could meet him anytime. I followed up with a phone call. He agrees to meet me between 1-3pm that afternoon. 3pm comes and goes, not a word from them. He never showed and never called. I emailed both Jose and Junior early this morning (Wed 7/5) and asked if they wanted to try again. As of 1pm, no response. I get that sometimes jobs run longer or people get tied up in traffic and run late. But there's no excuse to not call if you're not going to make an appt. Geez, even Comcast has a better response rate. I'll take my $$$ plumbing job to someone who actually wants the business.
