We chose Meticulous Plumbing due to mostly good reviews on this site. Installation of 2 faucets and $19.00 dispatch feel brought our total bill to $670.75.

In response to Leo: Before using this company, get prices on the phone and call around to other plumbers for a cost analysis of your job.

01/22/2016 We had to bring a second plumber out to fix the faucets Meticulous Plumbing had installed in our kitchen. We opted for Beaverton Plumbing, who we've used in the past and liked. Mike showed up on time (a little early - he called first to ensure it was ok) and tightened the faucets Meticulous had installed. His belief is that there is a metal washer missing from the installation which should have been with the faucets and wasn't used. He also fixed the issue we had in the upstairs bath, which Meticulous had told us would require a complete new fixture. The bathroom shower took 2 turns to tighten a loose fitting. The total cost for this work (Repair of kitchen faucet and upstairs shower) was $110 - their minimum. Given the type of kitchen faucet we had Meticulous install, Mike estimated Beaverton would have charged about $165 for installation. Beware of using Meticulous Plumbing. Not only do they overcharge, but they make excuses and give poor advice.

I needed to figure out the best way to get hot water up to my third floor from the basement and asked Leo to come out to advice me and give me an estimate. He looked everything over carefully and given our budget he suggested a way to solve the problem that we could do ourselves at a fraction of the cost of hiring him to do any work. Not only that, but he looked over our whole plumbing situation and future projects we are interested in doing and told me the best way to proceed and the approximate costs to do those things when we're ready to proceed. There just aren't many professionals out there who will give you the time of day unless they're on the clock, and Leo spent quite a bit of time doing that, even responding to numerous questions over e-mail after that. So in the end I'm able to tackle this immediate project myself without spending a penny on a plumber because of his free advice. This is the mark of a man and a company that's committed to building a solid long-term relationship with a customer. You can bet I'll be calling Leo when it's time to put in that new bathroom in our basement! Thanks so much for your generosity and commitment to service Leo.

I seriously don't know why it was so hard for me to find a plumber to come to my house, but before I was referred to Meticulous (by a great team that just had a busy schedule), I could not find anyone to help me! Got the details of Meticulous, sent an email, and was contacted right away! Prompt scheduling with clear follow through via email to confirm the appointment.

On the day of, Travis called before he came, arrived on time, explained my options (moved a sink drain/disposal from center to right side of sink - there are a few ways to do it), and got to work! Price was very reasonable -- in fact, just a bit under what I was already expecting.

Travis was also super understanding of the fact that my dogs are in training and respected that they basically have to be ignored right now. He also did not seem to mind that my old cat felt the need to ""inspect his work"" as he worked. Super attitude all around.

Thank you, Meticulous! I cannot say how happy I am to finally have a functional kitchen!

Found this place on Angie's list where they also have excellent reviews. I used them twice during the recent condo remodel. The first was to move a washer dryer hook up about a foot over and also move a kitchen sink vent about 3 ft over (sounds easy but not so much). The second was to resolve a leaky overflow value on the tub in my bathroom. Both times they showed up gave me a price and were able to do the work right then and there. I loved loved loved that. I also thought the prices were reasonable (meaning I probably could have found cheaper but not anyone who was this fast, efficient, and customer friendly).

But you don't get a 5 start review for just being good you need to be great and it was with the second job where they really shined. You see the worst part of the leak was that my downstairs neighbor informed me of it and was not so happy to have water dripping from her bathroom ceiling. She was so upset she was a little too much for me to handle so I asked the plumber if he could help. He was able to calm her down and explain to her that all was now resolved and that these thing just happen sometimes. His knowledge and expertise allowed her to trust him and trust that it was now fixed.

I recently had my sister who is opening a restaurant (mid-remodel) call them for some plumbing advise and she also had good things to say.

just had meticulous plumbing at my home to help with a clogged pipe that caused my washer to gush water all over the floor. my plumber, Travis, attempted to snake the drain but pulled out hair and some other weird stuff and instructed me to call a drain cleaning service. i was charged $60 for his time here, about 15 minutes, and on top of that another $19. I called meticulous instead of calling Lovett or another similar company, as I felt I would be more taken care of - but was totally wrong and now am $80 out and still have to find someone else to come and inspect my pipe and figure out the real problem. I gotta say, I feel ripped off, for sure. in the plus side, Travis arrived very early, and was nice, so there's that...

Just had some work done by Plumber, Roger, and had a very good experience that I thought I should share. Roger was very friendly, efficient, and thorough in getting the job done. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, the options, and to show us what he had done once completed. 'Meticulous' is not an easy moniker to live up to, but Roger embodied that exactly.

If you are on the hunt for a plumber who will get the job done right in a professional and courteous manner so you can get on with your life, I highly recommend calling Meticulous Plumbing! 5-Stars all around!

Meticulous is simply the best - and friendliest - plumbing service I have ever encountered. We found them on Angie's List, and HIGHLY recommend that you become an Angie's List member if you use them because they do not charge the usual ""dispatch fee"" for Angie's members - they are mostly Angie's referrals, and so this offsets their need to advertise.

But to their service, they are very creative in looking over your problem/issue, and suggesting a range of ways to solve it, including pointing out all the ways you can resolve it yourself, or with lower cost. In the three times they've been to our house since we moved in, two of those visits turned out to be simply ""advisory"" visits (first and last), while the one in between was an innovative approach to a typically expensive problem, and we believe we saved hundreds of dollars with that perfectly good approach.

The style is consultative, but quintessentially Portland ""folksy"" at the same time. They seem to do whatever's needed to help out, so if you can anticipate a need, and not be rushed into an emergency visit, that's definitely the way to go.

Finally....a plumber I can rely on. Leo and the gang are hard-working, excellent communicators, and, yes, meticulous. I've come across several flaky, unreliable plumbers in this town, but Meticulous is one of the first to come through, and they have been great on multiple occasions. I now refer them to my real estate clients, and so far they seem pleased, too.
