I read such wonderful reviews about this place but was very disappointed with them. They were suppose to call 30 minutes before arriving. They didn't.
I needed a valve replaced in my shower Handel and the wanted $300 for that.
Wanted to replace the shower converter that take water from tub to shower head. They wanted $200 for that.
I needed to get my toilet to stop fill the back of tank with water. $300.
That was to ridiculously over priced for that stuff.

I used this company to get my drain lines cleared, after seeing their ad in our subdivision's newsletter. I could not have been more pleased. In fact, I followed up with a complimentary email to the owner -- something I'm very rarely inclined to do.

They were friendly, communicated (accurately!) their estimated arrival time, and I thought the pricing was very fair.

I was very impressed when the service tech (John) cleared my drain lines, then repeated the entire process when he wasn't 100% satisfied with the draining performance.

After dealing with several service providers who arrive late, don't communicate, and play games on pricing -- this was a very refreshing experience.

Highly recommended... they will absolutely be doing all of my plumbing work from now on.

We've been using Met Plumbing's services since last year to fix our tankless water heater and to install water softener and Byron is the technician that has come every time. The communication from the office has not been the best but we love Byron. He always is on time, very polite, very pleasant and careful about keeping things clean as he works (always putting shoe covers on when coming in to our house.....I appreciate that). Byron was also very knowledgeable, he diagnosed the problem and quickly worked to fix it with a smile on his face. It's never fun to have things breaks but Byron helps to make it tolerable for us.

Not at all satisfied. Sending in formal complaint of price gouging to the plumbing board. Had a leak under the kitchen sink. First they said it was the hoses and paid them 350 dollars for that. Then a week later, we still had the same leak. This time they said we would have to use one of the faucets they sell for 800 plus installation of another 200. By the time this is all said and done we are in the hole 12 to 1400 dollars for a simple faucet. He went to Lowe's, picked out a really nice faucet for 200 and had a local gentleman from our Church install for much less than they charge. Don't ever use these people! You will regret it I promise.

As I purchased a 1955 home, the home inspector had assessed that the original cast iron sewer pipes were leaking and needed replacement. I obtained 5 bids ranging from small to large companies and decided on MET Plumbing. Their quote was mid-range; however, the determining factors were the full 10-year warranty on parts and labor, office-field communication, and professionalism. I am very pleased with the quality of work and customer experience. Byron, the master plumber, was detailed in explaining the project to a layperson, communicating clearly with me on a daily basis, meticulous in the work, and going above and beyond what he was engaged to do. I had a concern over the weekend, and when I called the office, Byron personally returned my call even though he was on vacation. Eric, the apprentice, was equally earnest in his work. I highly recommend this team based on their professionalism, transparency, and commitment to excellence.

Do not use this company. They have yet to solve a leaking pipe issue that started early Dec 2020, but have sent 6 techs out. It went from clearing a clogged drain to purchasing a new toilet but the issue still isn't resolved. Now we were told the piping is angled incorrectly and all of it will have to be redone but the cause of the leak is still unclear. We've had the house since 2015 and haven't had major issues until we called MET. They're good at creating more issues to fix vs actually fixing the issue, and charging a lot of money along the way, and the owner isn't bothered by this unethical practice. You have to ask for a specific type of plumber otherwise they'll send a tech that isn't qualified to do the work, charge you, and then have to schedule the right tech and get charged again.
They don't honor their warranty on work done either.
You'll save a lot of time and money going elsewhere!

I have been a client for almost 3 years now. But I will no longer be giving this company my business.

Recently, I requested their services. A technician showed up and gave me a diagnostic without removing the panel from the tub - he simply was able to tell me what the problem was based on his, as he stated, "23-years of experience". The quote he gave was $450 and on top of that charged a $49 fee for coming to the site and sharing his "expertise".

I obviously called another company to get a second opinion. The technician removed the panel and quickly determined that the builder forgot to turn on the valve underneath the tub before sealing the panel. This tech only charged $120 for the time spent removing and replacing the panel.

Needless to say, 23-years of experience wasn't going to fix the problem. After calling MET Plumbing to inform of my situation, they simply gave me an "I'm sorry." So bye, bye MET Plumbing. Spare yourselves and use another service.

the negative reviews on this company are accurate. I simply needed a clog to be cleared near my washing machine which was spilling water all over my walls and floor. they showed up and said they could not fully clear the clog and I needed to invest in a 700 dollar service they offer to fully clear it. I opted to see how long until it clogs again, and it was clogged again by the next morning. they did not appear to fix anything, charged me over $300, and stated I would need to invest more for it to be fixed. I cannot even trust that they even knew what the actual issue was.

Another measure of a contractor's worth is their follow-up and willingness to work through problems with a customer. On that score, I can give high marks to MET Plumbing. In that follow-up, we both conceded points and reached agreement on the cost and level of service. They treated the situation fairly and I'm happy to call them for future work.
