In addition, we are home builders. For over 20 years, we have partnered with Barden Homes and Avis America Homes. Building additions and renovations is a passion of ours, and our clients say we do an excellent job.

We are proud dealers of Bryant and Carrier. We also offer System 2000 by Energy Kinetics. These products are known for their high quality and efficiency.

Mertec was founded many years ago after I worked alongside my father in various mechanical tasks in the Buffalo area. I was his assistant on in-ground swimming pools starting at age eight. I graduated from McKinley Vocational High School in 1964 with a plumbing major. Following my Army service from 1965 to 1968, I became a member of the Plumbers Union. I focused on new commercial and residential service until I achieved my Master Plumber license. Honestly, the creation of Mertec stemmed from a need to support myself and provide prompt service to friends, family, and an expanding client base.

I made the Finger Lakes my home in the early 1980s and have remained in business ever since, striving to meet the needs of the wonderful community.
