We also take pride in our home building services. For over 20 years, we have partnered with Barden Homes and Avis America Homes. We enjoy crafting additions and renovations, and our clients say we do an excellent job.

We represent Bryant and Carrier as authorized dealers. Additionally, we provide System 2000 from Energy Kinetics. These are top-tier, energy-efficient HVAC solutions.

Mertec started many years ago after collaborating with my father on numerous mechanical projects in Buffalo. I began helping him with in-ground swimming pools when I was just eight. I finished high school in 1964, earning a plumbing major from McKinley Vocational. After my time in the Army from 1965 to 1968, I joined the Plumbers Union. I worked on new commercial and residential service projects until I became a licensed Master Plumber. To be honest, Mertec was born out of a desire to earn a living and meet the needs of friends, family, and a growing clientele for reliable service and repairs.

I relocated to the Finger Lakes region in the early 1980s and have remained in business ever since, striving to meet the needs of the wonderful community.
