We started our journey in June 2021, we aim to deliver outstanding and convenient customer service.

Our team is dedicated to the field of plumbing and serving our customers. We set out to enhance the plumbing profession. Our aim is to move the industry forward by utilizing modern solutions that improve a more efficient experience for our customers and team. Our services include digital invoicing, flexible scheduling via phone calls, text messages, and online bookings.

We are also excited about educating young plumbers and inspiring youth to explore plumbing careers.

Merit Plumbing stands firm in the belief that access to clean water is a fundamental right. As our business grows, we aim to contribute 5% of our earnings to organizations like the Navajo Water Project. We encourage you to participate in supporting the Navajo Water Project.

JJ arrived in Florida from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2004. He came to work with a Canadian company on a project for Sarasota County, focusing on relining municipal sewer systems. Soon after, the company set up a division in Florida. JJ was a key player in the Florida operations and continued in that role until 2012.

After becoming a parent, JJ understood that being away from home for extended periods due to work was not ideal. He left the lining company and began working for a residential service plumber in Sarasota. He quickly enrolled in a four-year plumbing apprenticeship and completed it. Upon finishing his apprenticeship, he began studying for and obtained his master plumber license.

In 2021, he established Merit Plumbing with the vision of ensuring top-notch and convenient service for customers.
