Merit Plumbing was established in June 2021, our mission is to ensure excellent service for our customers.

We have a strong commitment to the field of plumbing and customer satisfaction. We set out to elevate plumbing standards. Our aim is to push the plumbing field ahead by adopting innovative technologies that improve a better experience for our customers and team. We are also excited about educating young plumbers and encouraging young individuals to consider careers in plumbing.

We hold the belief at Merit Plumbing that access to clean water is a fundamental right. As our business grows, we aim to give 5% of our profits to initiatives like the Navajo Water Project. We encourage you to participate in supporting the Navajo Water Project.

JJ moved to Florida from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2004. He was part of a Canadian company working on a project for relining municipal sewer systems in Sarasota County. Soon after, the company set up a division in Florida. He was instrumental in the Florida operations and remained in that position until 2012.

After becoming a parent, JJ understood that a job requiring frequent travel and long absences from home was no longer suitable. He transitioned from the lining company to a residential plumbing service in Sarasota. Shortly after starting, he enrolled in and completed a four-year plumbing apprenticeship. After completing his apprenticeship, he studied for and earned his master plumber license.

He launched Merit Plumbing in 2021 with the aim of ensuring top-notch and convenient service for customers.
