This father-son duo was quick to mobilize and found the problem. Professional, kind, and even spent some time explaining to me the mechanics of my kitchen plumbing so I know what to look out for in the future. Honest family business. Thank you, gentlemen!

I had a broken pipe that was leaking a lot of water and this company came here on time and fixed it super fast super efficient and the owner was extremely professional and helpful. He not only fixed the broken pipe I called for he fixed 2 others and didn't charge me extra. Definitely going with them again for any future plumbing needs.

I'm a relatively new homeowner, so I didn't know how to shut the water off to the house easily (it was a lever or a crank right outside the house that doesn't require too much force). So, when the water valve under my sink broke (it was cheap and wore out, apparently), hot water was spewing under my sink for a good 10 minutes. My wife threw all our mats in the cupboard under the sink to suck up the water, while I tried to find how to turn it off. It was crazy. Finally, I turned off the water at the main meter, which was ridiculously difficult. I had to use a hammer. Anyway, called Mercy Plumbing after. John from Mercy Plumbing who's a friendly guy came over pretty quick and identified the leak as a worn out valve that needed replacement and replaced it immediately. The best thing with John from Mercy Plumbing and I bet probably from other plumbers working with him, is that he's upfront with what it would cost (fair pricing) and keeps his word. If you're anxious and you start to think, maybe I should just change every valve in the house, he's honest in saying that's not necessary. John also educated me how to turn the water off quickly next time round and advised me to check for possible mold that might form. I would definitely call Mercy Plumbing again for my plumbing needs.

He can do the easy stuff, and it will cost $250, regardless. I had him over to try and diagnose a moisture issue and he could not figure it out. Another plumber did quite quickly and it was a simple fixture leak. He "shoots from the hip". Not a good listener, and somewhat rude. Would not recommend.

I had Mercy Plumbing come out to my mom's house today (5/21/2022) and based on the level of service she was provided, she was like "PLEASE leave a glowing review for me!". She says you guys were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and so very kind. Thank you so much for providing my mom with the best customer service!

Looked to set up appointment but read some of the reviews and I am glad I did not. Actually I did but after got call from the owner to clear what was the problem it was obviously he is rude person and company itself is just looking how to take your money. They asked for $125 for just a finding the leak in case I decide to fix it by myself. Well, I said I know where leak is since I can see it and I don't want you charge $125 my card even before you come to my house. Since I was able to explain exactly what work needs to be done I was quoted $450 as a minimum charge. I did make a comment that price seems to be high (even it is how much all similar rip off companies charge for similar repair) but respond from the guy on the phone (owner) was absolutely unprofessional and I can say rude. He said something like ... there are stores that selling shovels so you can dig it by yourself. Well I did. Fixed simple problem spending less then 10% of money that I was quoted as a minimum charge. Decided to do it by myself even I found other real plumber that quoted me $120 for same work. This company, same as other similar "big" companies charge to much and I feel sorry for people like our senior citizens who are not able or not skilled enough for DIY repairs. This company and owner will not have mercy. If you can somehow avoid them and look for some decent handyman in your neighborhood that will be way to go.

Lied to me about the price. Quoted one price, was given another when they came through. Then couldn't fix the issue with the pipes because of roots growing in it. Wanted to charge me $$$ for that, and if I didn't want to get that done I still had to pay $300. Owner is rude and and asshole but his employees are nice people. Feel bad for them.

Although their response time was great, the owner of the company needs some training in customer service skills. They came and installed a new water heater, but did not put it on a setting where the water was hot enough. I called and the owner called me back and insisted that I go up in the attic and turn the dial myself if I wanted to. He insisted that the plumbers cannot put it on a high heat setting. He reluctantly sent a tech out and the tech made the switch real quick, and never mentioned that he was not allowed to put the setting to high heat.

Second time dealing with this company a few days later for another plumbing issue and again the owner calls and has an attitude and does no let me explain what the issue is. He rudely interrupted me while I was talking and said, " are you going to be home or not?" No customer should have to deal with a rude technician, much less the owner of the company. I just told him I would rather have another company come out to my house.

Called this morning due to my sink backing up, regardless of Liquid Plumber and snaking it. Service was within 5 hours, the plumber was over for about 90 minutes, tested twice after resolving issue to ensure it was fixed, cleaned up, was very polite. We are very pleased with the service we received.

If you need a plumber who is smart enough to diagnose your plumbing problem accurately and honest enough to not rip you off during the most vulnerable time, John Mercy is the guy you call. John and his nephew came out to my house after the previous plumbing company told me I had a leak and would take at least $3000 to fix (and somehow I had a gut feeling not to trust them), he diagnosed no leak but fixed an unstable toilet for me which was MUCH cheaper. Later I had a plumbing emergency in my dental office and he came out during the time when he should be having family dinner and diagnosed our plumbing problem. He saved us from having to shut down the office the next day. He's a rare gem in his profession and it shows as he's getting all the five star reviews on Yelp!
