I had Mercy Plumbing come out and help me with a gas leak at my gas meter. I am giving them two stars because they did finish the job they said they would (pressure test and capping of leaking pipe) but not without troubles. The short version is we were stood up twice (one of which was a no call/no show) by the technician, no return calls from management, and overcharged up front to lock us in from shopping around. Overall not a good experience. Do yourself a favor and keep searchinge.
A R.I feel like he tried to take advantage of me because I'm a woman who knows nothing about plumbing! He came out and used his camera to find the problem ($350) then he said our only way to fix it was to dig it up and replace the pipes($1400)! I paid him the $350, but got a 2nd opinion and the 2nd guy came out and fixed the problem for $180! He also mentioned one pipe needed to be replaced because it had shifted and it didn't need to be all completely dug upand replaced! He said he would do it for $420 for everything!!!! I feel like the 2nd plumber did a great job and it was not half ass or anything!
Don't chose Mercy Plumbing unless you just want to waste time and money!!

Looked to set up appointment but read some of the reviews and I am glad I did not. Actually I did but after got call from the owner to clear what was the problem it was obviously he is rude person and company itself is just looking how to take your money. They asked for $125 for just a finding the leak in case I decide to fix it by myself. Well, I said I know where leak is since I can see it and I don't want you charge $125 my card even before you come to my house. Since I was able to explain exactly what work needs to be done I was quoted $450 as a minimum charge. I did make a comment that price seems to be high (even it is how much all similar rip off companies charge for similar repair) but respond from the guy on the phone (owner) was absolutely unprofessional and I can say rude. He said something like ... there are stores that selling shovels so you can dig it by yourself. Well I did. Fixed simple problem spending less then 10% of money that I was quoted as a minimum charge. Decided to do it by myself even I found other real plumber that quoted me $120 for same work. This company, same as other similar "big" companies charge to much and I feel sorry for people like our senior citizens who are not able or not skilled enough for DIY repairs. This company and owner will not have mercy. If you can somehow avoid them and look for some decent handyman in your neighborhood that will be way to go.
Tara D.Called them out to look at my gas line in my kitchen that was poking out of the wall. It was making my stove poke out 6 inches from the wall and driving me crazy. The owner came out to my house and gave me two options on how he could fix it and then had the job done within 20 minutes and even cleaned up after his self. Jo P.Tommy took my payment with no problem. But sending a receipt is impossible to receive. I requested 4 *FOUR" Times and Still no receipt. I called and empty promise to email me a receipt. Just Terrible Customer Service After the Service. I am a Realtor and will not be recommending you to my clients.
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLUMBER. absolutely rude, unprofessional man.
how many times has mercy plumbing come out? 2 times!!! how much money paid? too much.
WHEN IT HAPPENED A THIRD TIME, we asked him to come clean the AC LINE (the recurring issue) for free since we just paid him a fortune. HE REFUSED. i said it was unacceptable.
DO NOT TRUST HIS REBUTTAL that will surely follow. HEED MY ADVICE AND CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLUMBER. have you read his other negative reviews from other people on him? UNPROFESSIONAL. I will also be filing a negative review with BBB since yelp only goes so far.
UPDATE: JUST GOT A TEXT FROM MERCY PLUMBING SAYING THEY ARE GOING TO CONTACT A LAWYER TO SUE ME FOR DEFAMATION. UNFORTUNATELY, TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENSE AGAINST DEFAMATION.
UPDATE 2: LENA, THE OFFICE WORKER JUST TEXTED ME THIS. ALL GRAMMATICAL ERRORS ARE ALL HERS: "you're not even the owner of the house you're the daughter and live with the mother and eyes I can see on your reviews you have nothing else to do but right bad reviews about businesses You must not have anything else going on in your life

THIS IS AFTER I TOLD HER REPEATEDLY NOT TO CONTACT ME OR I WOULD CONSIDER IT HARASSMENT. See how unprofessional this company is? I had to block her number! The owner should read this review and re-evaluate Lena's employment! Ridiculous!
Shawn B.Water pipe broke outside. Water everywhere running down the street. I shut the main water hose. I called Mercy for help. They we're here within two hours. Bryce did a great job. Highly recommend Mercy. Reasonably priced.
Kimberly D.Although their response time was great, the owner of the company needs some training in customer service skills. They came and installed a new water heater, but did not put it on a setting where the water was hot enough. I called and the owner called me back and insisted that I go up in the attic and turn the dial myself if I wanted to. He insisted that the plumbers cannot put it on a high heat setting. He reluctantly sent a tech out and the tech made the switch real quick, and never mentioned that he was not allowed to put the setting to high heat.
Second time dealing with this company a few days later for another plumbing issue and again the owner calls and has an attitude and does no let me explain what the issue is. He rudely interrupted me while I was talking and said, " are you going to be home or not?" No customer should have to deal with a rude technician, much less the owner of the company. I just told him I would rather have another company come out to my house.
Kenneth S.Called and scheduled 2 appointments with John and no one showed up. When I called the second time John said I was rude and too far away for them to service. Not true. If I was too far away why did you not say when I scheduled the appointment? Typical poorly educated TRASH. Stay away as they will blame everything on you and are not men of their word or reliable.
