Called a couple places and they were all booked except for this one. The plumber came very promptly and was able to solve the problem we had in the shower fairly easily.

The labor is pretty expensive but the plumber was nice enough to give us a discount so if you are in need of quick service and don't mind shelling out more cash this place is fine.

Note*: The problem was fairly simple, the insides of the knobs were broken so the water wouldn't actually turn off when we turned it to the ""off"" position.

After bad experience with other plumbers, I decided to contact Mark. He came on time, was really really polite and took care of business really quick. The price was competitive but its worth. I had other plumbers coming who were a little cheaper, but took forever, not to mention the mess they left behind. Mark was fast and the bathroom was spotless afterwards. If I could rate his services 1000% I would!

You know those premium ""flushable"" wipes(baby wipes for spoiled buns)? Well, in small print, they say not to flush. I found out the hard way.

Mark and Scott rushed over with a special tool and saved the day.

They're not the cheapest, but they are the best. Thanks guys.

I now have used Mark @ MD Plumbers twice. Both times he was upfront and honest about fees as well as the existing problems I was facing. The second time I was in a complete emergency and he was at my house within minutes, diagnosed the problem, and went out to east county to get a very specific part. I would recommend Mark and I will be using him again when and need be.

The guys that came were very helpful and identified the problem within minutes. They ran off to the store to get parts that were not common to carry and were back within minutes to perform the work. I mentioned Yelp and they were able to give me the discount. They were even able to come out on the weekend to perform the job, so I did not have to take time off of work and was able to fix the problem in one day, no problems. They had given me a 2 hour window of when they would arrive and they came mid-way through the window with a phone call letting me know they were on their way. The overall experience was great, I just wish fixing things that break wasn't so expensive!

Bottom line - prompt and professional service. While at first I thought the quoted price was a bit high for what I was asking, once the job was completed, Mark (the owner) told me that he was lowering the price by approximately 27% because it turned out to be less complex than he estimated. I really appreciated this - having priced several jobs in the past, you always want to build in a ""Murphy"" factor and (at least for me) I'm happier to bid conservatively and then pass along a savings to the customer if it turns out to be easier vice continuing to tack on more and more cost as I discover more complexity - it's not always this straight forward, I understand. I would gladly use MDPlumber.com again and certainly recommend them.

My friends Mom had a shower that had the whole glass panel shatter into the tub. Mark from MD Plumbers came over and suggested that he should extract the glass with a vacuum as apposed to snaking it out, like what the other plumbers wanted to do. Which was a great Idea! Worked like a charm. He also gave us free advice about the outside drain. I would highly recommend calling him before anyone else.
