We had McLay Services come to look at and work on a project that seemed to leave anybody that looked at it speechless. We had a root crushing the sewer line from the house to the city line. It wasn't a regular root intrusion issue, but the root was running alongside the sewer line. It was raining cats and dogs the day that I called, but they still came out to look at the situation that was in our backyard.

Chad gave me a quote that was significantly less than the plumbing contractor that came days before. They were also upfront about their schedule and that it would be about a week before they could put me on the schedule. After the initial visit, i was able to schedule everything and complete the appropriate paperwork with their front office.

On repair day, their techs came on time, were very professional, and began their work. Chad originally thought it might be a two day job, but they were able to complete the job in one day. They had to clear some misc lines to get to the problem, but they replaced what they cleared.

I didn't originally call McLay. The issue sprung up and I tried to contact a few plumbers via Yelp. A well-reviewed plumbing company responded to my initial asks for quotes from yelp and came out. As this first company began to assess the issue, they quoted me an amount that just seemed an exorbitant amount. At that point is when I decided to get a 2nd opinion and that's where McLay came in.

I am so very thankful for Chad and his team that came to repair my issue!

We had McLay services come to our home and complete a routine service on our Carrier heating system and replace the sink pop ups on three bathroom sinks. The service tech, Mike was on time and very friendly. He was extremely careful and respectful while in out home. That was very important to us. He had his shoe covers and mask on while performing service. Overall, Mike did a great job and we'd be happy to have him back.
We are thankful to have found a company that delivers what it promises and for a fair price. That's rare these days.

I called and spoke to Archie on a Saturday about changing out my parents wall furnace he was very friendly and helpful. He quoted me a price and I scheduled for them to do the work on Thursday his guys showed up with masks and booties which I appreciated. It took several hours to complete the job and used a couple of parts they needed to finish up. They did not charge me a penny over the quoted price. Thank you all so much! And Merry Christmas.

I scheduled a McLay Services technician visit for my very expensive Carrier Infinity system. My unit was throwing error codes, one of which was ""Clean or replace your air filter"" which I had done a few months earlier and the code would not clear. So, naturally I reached out to Carrier and they referred me to a few local Authorized Carrier experts. McLay was on the list.

After spending time checking my system and my thermostat, the technician told me, ""the next time you replace your filter replace it with a less efficient filter and replace it more frequently"". He also recommended I replace my thermostat. Today McLay replaced my stat and everything seems to be running much better

The tech was helpful and polite and walked me through the setup of my new, smart thermostat. As it turns out, most of the problems I was having were a result of a faulty old, not so smart thermostat.

Today's experience with McLay's was perfect. I called mid morning for help with a plumbing issue and was so happy and surprised to get a same-day appointment window from 1 to 3pm. Shortly after noon, Cesar called to say he was on the way. I was delighted that he was early, and appreciated that he followed their safety protocol. He explained everything confidently and clearly (he would make an excellent trainer). From start (my call to the office) to finish, this was a friendly, helpful, and professional experience - no surprise, as this has been the case, every time, with McLay's. Thank you!

Excellent Service! Our air conditioning unit broke in the triple digit heat. Nathan and Joshua replaced the capacitor and were very detailed explaining the issue and parts that were needed. Very polite, professional and friendly. Highly recommend McLay Services, Inc.
