McKee Construction has proudly served Bakersfield since 1982. We can create your ideal home or revitalize your home with a kitchen or bathroom renovation. We can expand your home with an addition or update your space with a fresh layer of paint.

I take pride in our family-owned legacy. We have always been a family-oriented company. Growing up, my siblings and I worked alongside our father. Our journey started with small jobs, leading to custom home construction in Bear Valley Springs in the 70s. We spent years working together in our family painting venture. I worked closely with my father on numerous projects until he passed away on 9-1-18. My youngest daughter now carries on our family tradition in the construction industry. Our hands-on approach spans from the initial idea to the final touches.

Having been born in California, I have lived in Bakersfield since 1977. My wife and I have been happily married for 40 years. We are proud parents of three children: two daughters and a son. My kids have been involved in our family business in various ways. I earned my Painting Contractor's license at 22 and led a crew of 25. We painted numerous subdivisions throughout Bakersfield. Eventually, I obtained my General Contractor's license and constructed numerous custom homes in Bakersfield. I love engaging with clients to explore their visions. I provide clients with detailed building plans for their ideal homes. Our goal is to help clients with any construction projects they envision.
