For over four decades, McKee Construction has been dedicated to the Bakersfield community. We specialize in crafting your dream residence or transform your existing space with a kitchen remodel. Whether you need an addition for extra room or update your space with a fresh layer of paint.

Our family-owned roots are a source of pride for me. From the beginning, we have been a family-run operation. As children, my siblings and I gained experience working with our father. Our journey started with small jobs, leading to custom home construction in Bear Valley Springs in the 70s. Our family also ran a painting business for many years. My father and I partnered on various construction projects until his passing on September 1, 2018. My youngest daughter now carries on our family tradition in the construction industry. We are involved in every step, from initial concept to design and final execution.

I was born in California and have called Bakersfield home since 1977. I have been married to my wife for four decades. We have three children: a son and two daughters. The family business has always included my children in some capacity. I earned my Painting Contractor's license at 22 and led a crew of 25. I oversaw painting projects in various subdivisions across Bakersfield. Eventually, I obtained my General Contractor's license and constructed numerous custom homes in Bakersfield. Meeting with clients to brainstorm ideas is something I truly enjoy. I draft complete building plans tailored to their dream homes. Our goal is to help clients with any construction projects they envision.
