We've used McGill a number of times. They have a sales area also for counter sales. They've been in business since when the toilet was invented. Service prices are reasonable. Ask for John M. He has been the best plumber so far. The experienced plumbers they use always seem to have a trainee with them. Keep an eye on the trainee - sometimes they do things incorrectly and the master plumber has to correct them. That's why we like John M. so much. He keeps a close eye on his trainees and, by observation, he does a great job showing trainees how to do things right. Oh, and did I say that their prices are reasonable?

I was expecting great service based on the reviews, unfortunately that is not what I received. We had a faucet replaced in our kitchen and they also replaced a pipe as it was rusted. The cost was $300 which seems high but they are a reputable company and warranty there services. Less than a week after they replaced the faucet we noticed that it had been leaking under the cabinet, this was on the weekend so we placed towesl and a bucket to soak up the water, but the cabinet was ruined from the water damage. They came on the Monday and tightened the valve and said that should fix it. The response I received from the manager Shane Wood was not very pleasant. He said the cabinet was in bad condition before they replaced the faucet so they are not responsible for the damage even though it had been leaking for a week. He was extremely rude and said they are not replacing anything. I did not ask him to replace the cabinet just the wood panel that was damaged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!!!

We have been utilizing McGill Plumbing ever since 2006 and we are always pleased with their service. We called McGill on 10-3 in regards to our toilet not flushing properly. Their service tech Ryan arrived at our house the next day at approx 3:30. He was very friendly and explained what needed to be replaced. Ryan was upfront with only what needed to be done and only suggested another repair at a later date. About 45 minutes later Ryan was done and our toilet operates like new. McGill has always treated us fair and today was no different.

Had a kitchen sink leak last week. They came to the house and removed the under sink racks and tracks to evaluate the problem. When the new faucet arrived and a different technician came over to install it, he refused to put the racks and tracks back in place, in spite of having being asked to do so. He just said that because he didn't take them out he didn't have to put them back and he just left. We had to do their job and put them back ourselves!! After many years of using McGill we're done with them!!

I called them bc my regular plumber sold his business. What a delight - McGill answered the phone and scheduled a 3 hour time-window on the spot. They called on time and Joe showed up early with a smile. He fixed the leak, adjusted some other items and installed a new outside spigot. Very reasonable, ultra professional (offered to take his shoes off in the house) and highly skilled. He arrived, diagnosed, fixed, installed, cleaned up and was gone in less than an hour.

Can't say enough good things about McGill. We had a leak outside, near our home, in the main feeder line to our our. We had turned the water off, so we had no water in our home. Called McGill about 7:45 AM this morning, just before they opened. They returned our call by 8:10 AM. They said they could have someone here between 3:00-5:00 PM today. We received a call around 12:45 PM saying they were through early and were on their way to our home. 2:05 PM, job completed, feeder line fixed, and water in our home. THIS IS WHAT GREAT SERVICE IS!!!!!

If McGill Plumbing was equipped with the manpower to sufficiently accommodate their customers, my 11 day leak would would have been taken care of the next day. the did respond to evaluate the problem but lacked sufficient manpower to fix it for 11 day period. Leaving me with no kitchen sink for the Christmas holiday. The skill level and craftsmanship by the repairman was outstanding but McGills seem to lack the manpower to provide prompt service. ability to accommodate is flat out unacceptable.

Had a list of things for plumber to do. Told them upfront exactly what they were. Plumber shows up with a helper and a big van. Uh-oh. Wanted a faucet exchanged on the outside, kitchen drain snaked and a new faucet put in bathroom. Guy brings in assistant tells him to work in bathroom while he goes outside. 45 minutes later he tells me he can't shut off water and will have to cap the outside faucet (rendering it useless) and tells me I have to call the county to fix the shut off from the street. (They came later and said it just had to be worked but there is no problem with it.) He then goes in bathroom and realizes his assistant has messed up and flooded my vanity and hasn't turned off the water (the house shut off valve) spends time dragging in a vacuum and block me from seeing the damage. Then goes outside to tell the assistant how to snake the drain...never """"gets it"""" and eventually has to do it himself. The bathroom does get done but said the new faucet was too wide for the old hole and has to saw away the piece of tile to fit it in. This takes """"forever?"""" And then says he will take a half hour off his fee and charges me $400. Not a pleasant experience. Will never use again. Assistant was obviously useless and time waster, not to mention needing to let my vanity dry out and still needing to deal with the outside faucet.

A great experience with McGill Plumbing. I called yesterday for a clogged drain. They had someone out this morning, and Ryan the tech had it done in a few minutes. He was funny and very nice and polite. I would recommend McGill Plumbing to everyone. Thank You McGill and Ryan!

Extremely expensive!!! I was charge $547.95 to install a faucet and garbage disposal. The cost of the faucet and disposal installed was more than the retail value of the items had I gone to Home Depot and done it myself. And after numerous requests, I received a copy of the invoice for $460, but was told it was really $547.
