It looks that they inflate the final cost by charging by the time they """"work"""" on the job. They don't provide an estimate upfront so you don't know how much you pay. I will think twice before I hire them again.

If McGill Plumbing was equipped with the manpower to sufficiently accommodate their customers, my 11 day leak would would have been taken care of the next day. the did respond to evaluate the problem but lacked sufficient manpower to fix it for 11 day period. Leaving me with no kitchen sink for the Christmas holiday. The skill level and craftsmanship by the repairman was outstanding but McGills seem to lack the manpower to provide prompt service. ability to accommodate is flat out unacceptable.

I am the owner of Body Flow Wellness in Clearwater. This company did a great job with a complex installation of 2 colon hydrotherapy machines. John installed my first one back in 2017. Joe & Steve installed my most recent machine. They all did a great job, was very professional & courteous! I highly recommend this plumbing business.

I asked for another drain clean in the shower, they did it 2 weeks ago and is slow drain again. They charged me 144.00 for the service and wanted to charge me again. I used them in the past but this time they went over board with the service.

Clogged sink on Good Friday afternoon. Ugh!!! Turned down by 2 other companies! Called McGill and they said they would be right out. Ryan got to our home within 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional. He found the problem very quickly (it wasn't just in the trap). He went over and above to make sure he got the whole clog out from way down in the pipe system. He put everything back together and made sure everything was working properly. He even cleaned up! I am very grateful to Ryan and to McGill Plumbing. I will call them first from now on!!!!

I was doing a project where I was tiling over an existing shower floor and needed a specific part and Lowes suggested I go to McGill Plumbing to see if they had it. When I went in to ask about a drain frame, the employee treated me as though I was an idiot. Instead of speaking to me to find out more about the issue and perhaps explaining an alternative or a reason why not to try to do it my way, he said, """"We don't carry those. We don't do it that way. We do it the right way."""" That was basically the gist of the conversation. Had he not acted annoyed and had been courteous and helpful, I very well might have asked McGill to come out and replace the pieces their """"correct"""" way. I instead went to Ferguson Plumbing and the gentleman explained the process and offered information and, in the mean time, gained a loyal future customer.

Can't say enough good things about McGill. We had a leak outside, near our home, in the main feeder line to our our. We had turned the water off, so we had no water in our home. Called McGill about 7:45 AM this morning, just before they opened. They returned our call by 8:10 AM. They said they could have someone here between 3:00-5:00 PM today. We received a call around 12:45 PM saying they were through early and were on their way to our home. 2:05 PM, job completed, feeder line fixed, and water in our home. THIS IS WHAT GREAT SERVICE IS!!!!!

The work seems to be fine so far, But I felt the plumber was milking the clock. At $115.00 an hour and the first 15 minutes is their travel time and you pay the full $115.00 for the first hour, OK. This person showed at 9:45 am and was in no hurry to do the job. Running out to the truck coming back smelling of cigarette smoke. I thought the job should be two hours at most. Cutting 2 copper pies and putting them back together and fix a drain pipe all in the same wall. The wall was open. $30.00 in parts 2 and half hour labor. $288.00 in labor. I feel the last half an hour was him milking my wallet because at 11:55 pm he was handing me a bill. So My math is half of $115 is $57.50 he charged me $58.00. The 50 cent will not make at break me. It tells me not to use these people again. And tell your friends

The man showed up without a mask and spit on my kid. He was there to fix a leaky faucet in my bathtub and kitchen sink, but instead he charged my wife $800 just to tell her that he cannot fix it and that we have to call a real professional. Go somewhere else.

I was expecting great service based on the reviews, unfortunately that is not what I received. We had a faucet replaced in our kitchen and they also replaced a pipe as it was rusted. The cost was $300 which seems high but they are a reputable company and warranty there services. Less than a week after they replaced the faucet we noticed that it had been leaking under the cabinet, this was on the weekend so we placed towesl and a bucket to soak up the water, but the cabinet was ruined from the water damage. They came on the Monday and tightened the valve and said that should fix it. The response I received from the manager Shane Wood was not very pleasant. He said the cabinet was in bad condition before they replaced the faucet so they are not responsible for the damage even though it had been leaking for a week. He was extremely rude and said they are not replacing anything. I did not ask him to replace the cabinet just the wood panel that was damaged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!!!
