McGill Plumbing...awful! Not like it used to be! New staff doesn't know how to treat long-standing customers. Does not stand behind the Kohler products they sell! Will not contact Kohler or provide any assistance in dealing with a defect. After you purchase...you are on your own!! Stay away! Fortunately, I called Kohler myself and they were terrific...replacement no problem. But McGill wants nothing to do customer service!

Excellent service!! They are not out to take advantage of you. Nice disposition and willing to explain job.

Ok, had Mc Gill to the house a couple of day's ago. There was a major snafu from the previous owner having a deep sink & a washing machine drain line installed without traps. There was very little exposed piping or room to work. Cody studied the problem then went to work bringing everything up to code. It was a tough job he excelled at. While here he also added a shutoff valve & a new line for the refrigerator ice maker. Great worker, fair pricing. McGill Plumbing are the only ones I'd ever call. I'm a happy camper

Clogged sink on Good Friday afternoon. Ugh!!! Turned down by 2 other companies! Called McGill and they said they would be right out. Ryan got to our home within 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional. He found the problem very quickly (it wasn't just in the trap). He went over and above to make sure he got the whole clog out from way down in the pipe system. He put everything back together and made sure everything was working properly. He even cleaned up! I am very grateful to Ryan and to McGill Plumbing. I will call them first from now on!!!!

Our main sewer line backed up for the third time in three months. The first two times I rented a router from Home Depot and snaked it out, we sent a full 50 feet through from the roof vent and then back from the clean out by the street and the second time I got the electric version and sent 75 feet several times with each of the tips from the clean out (I couldn't get the big one up on the roof). Since all this lasted only a month at a time I felt it was time to get a professional out there to snake it with a longer and better snake and send a camera in to see what was up. I told them all this when I called and they sent Josh out. He sent the snake in 30 feet with the straight head felt a blockage at 15 feet horizontal, got through it and the water started running. At that point, 25 minutes in on a $165/hour minimum service call, he was ready to be done and said it was roots. I asked to put the cutter fitting on since I knew from my past experiences that this small hole was not going to stay open long. I also told him that when I snaked I felt other blockages farther up. He couldn't find the connector to attach the cutter head so put a grasper type thing on and fed that in. It stopped at the same 15 feet over and he couldn't get it past. Since I had gotten bigger fittings through last month this doesn't seem right but the cutter head was not available so I'm stuck with a small opening that will be clogged again shortly. At this point he thought it was not roots but maybe a lip in the pipe and suggested a camera for $250/hour. I'd asked about a camera earlier but apparently these services cannot be combined. All in all I was better off renting a router and doing a thorough job myself.

I've gone up to 3 stars on this review because of the professionalism shown by the rest of McGill. After reaching out to the office, VP Scott came out to speak with me in person and was very professional in handling my concerns with my plumbing experience. The storefront manager was very helpful, everyone else I spoke to on the phone was courteous and professional, and I believe my plumbing experience does not reflect the rest of the company and I believe it was handled appropriately on their end. Thank you.

We've used McGill a number of times. They have a sales area also for counter sales. They've been in business since when the toilet was invented. Service prices are reasonable. Ask for John M. He has been the best plumber so far. The experienced plumbers they use always seem to have a trainee with them. Keep an eye on the trainee - sometimes they do things incorrectly and the master plumber has to correct them. That's why we like John M. so much. He keeps a close eye on his trainees and, by observation, he does a great job showing trainees how to do things right. Oh, and did I say that their prices are reasonable?

I was expecting great service based on the reviews, unfortunately that is not what I received. We had a faucet replaced in our kitchen and they also replaced a pipe as it was rusted. The cost was $300 which seems high but they are a reputable company and warranty there services. Less than a week after they replaced the faucet we noticed that it had been leaking under the cabinet, this was on the weekend so we placed towesl and a bucket to soak up the water, but the cabinet was ruined from the water damage. They came on the Monday and tightened the valve and said that should fix it. The response I received from the manager Shane Wood was not very pleasant. He said the cabinet was in bad condition before they replaced the faucet so they are not responsible for the damage even though it had been leaking for a week. He was extremely rude and said they are not replacing anything. I did not ask him to replace the cabinet just the wood panel that was damaged. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!!!

We have been utilizing McGill Plumbing ever since 2006 and we are always pleased with their service. We called McGill on 10-3 in regards to our toilet not flushing properly. Their service tech Ryan arrived at our house the next day at approx 3:30. He was very friendly and explained what needed to be replaced. Ryan was upfront with only what needed to be done and only suggested another repair at a later date. About 45 minutes later Ryan was done and our toilet operates like new. McGill has always treated us fair and today was no different.

Had a kitchen sink leak last week. They came to the house and removed the under sink racks and tracks to evaluate the problem. When the new faucet arrived and a different technician came over to install it, he refused to put the racks and tracks back in place, in spite of having being asked to do so. He just said that because he didn't take them out he didn't have to put them back and he just left. We had to do their job and put them back ourselves!! After many years of using McGill we're done with them!!
