Set an appointment with them 3 months ago and they never showed. Now they say that they can provide that service for another 6 weeks. Don't waste your time with this company.

American home shield sent May's Heating and Air to service my AC unit back in Sept. 2022. I was told that I had a new air condenser that was installed. My unit was blowing hot air recently. I made a service call in May heating and air was sent to my house again on May 13, 2023. The unit was not cooling and needed Freon. I was charged $900 at that time I recently on June 19 put in a service call for the same problem. I was told because after 30 days I will have to pay an extra service fee to American home shield due to Mays, heating and air poor performance. I ask American home shield to send somebody else they seem to be incompetent.

I have been without my ac since mid-March. I had to jump through hoops with American Home Shield. Finally got stuff approved beginning of April that they force me to use this company. Parts finally came in towards the end of April. They keep rescheduling me for service. Today, I took off of work, stayed home. At 5 pm I call, they tell me that yeah, they can't come today, maybe next week. I'm out the pay for taking off of work, and I still don't have a working ac unit. The only reason this company is still in business has to be their contract with American Home Shield. I had to deal with them last year, and they were just as awful then, even charged me double for a visit on the same day and no matter how hard I pushed, couldn't get a refund.

Do not use these people rude and not polite will ask you for three best times to show up and won't pick any of them if you miss there call even if you call back in 5 minutes they have already moved on to the next person I mean even a doctors office gives you 15 minutes. Then will lie to AHS and say they tried calling several times AHS should drop them

Was very pleased with the tech who came out, Deondrae--polite, well spoken and efficient. He explained everything he was doing so that I understood. He found the problem but couldn't fix it without a part. Called their dispatcher, Kim, who found the info, ordered the part and scheduled the fix. Hopefully, it will be done and done.

LESS THAN ONE STAR. A NEGATIVE! DOOO NOTT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. American home shield forced them on me and after 6 WEEKS WITH NO HEATING OR AC i fought for them to pay for another company. If you are in the Valdosta/lakeland area GO WITH DAVIS AIR!!!! They are amazing and kind guys. Meanwhile Akeem from this company LIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO ME about coming out and putting a thermostat in. Lo and behold i needed a new compressor that was FRIED which the guy from Davis spotted immediately and is confused how Akeem did not see this. May NEVER SUBMITTED THE WORK ORDER TO AHS!!!! After sending Akeem out a second time because the thermostat didn't fix the issue he said it was the compressor. So i waited like an idiot with no air thinking they'd call with an update and NEVER DID. I even contacted Akeem the technician cause he seemed cool at first but no no no he only cares about making that 125$ every time he visits from the warranty company. This was the worst experience and my kids had to sleep in the heat for 3 days before i got a unit for my window because Akeem told me it would only take a week and a half to get the part and fix. MEANWHILE 6 WEEEEKS WENT BY!!! And the weather has fluctuated. He left me a thermostat that would be capable of turning my emergency heat on. He advised using it since it was below 50 out. On his second visit when he said i had a compressor issue he told me my electric bill would be high. IT WAS 140$ MORE! So on top of the SH*TTY experience i was left with this light bill too. I thankfully called Davis who got my whole entire issue resolved in 4 working days!!!!! DO NOT LET AMERICAN HOME SHEILD SEND YOU THESE SCAMMERS!! Fight them to pay u a cash out for having another company come fix it. ALSO LET ME ADD, When Davis came out they found that the thermostat that was put in was FAULTY!!! It didn't do anything but turn a fan on. So now I'm wondering if me trying to use emergency heat fried my compressor some how. Idk but PIECE OF SHIT COMPANY NO clue how they are in business

I have AHS, and they sent May Heating and Air to look at my issues with my HVAC unit. On Sept. 30, 2022, I filed a claim on AHS for a service. On Oct. 3rd, the technician JT OConnor came to my house and said the air handler would need to be replaced. He also said that, within 24 hours, I would get a notification about setting a date and time for installation. This did not happen. On Oct. 13th, I called for an update, but there was none. I called again on Oct. 24th, and no update again. I called on Oct. 26th, and no update again. On Nov. 4th, I called, and they replied that the air handler was not on order yet. She then fixed the issue and placed it on order. on Nov. 14th, I called for an update, and they said they were waiting on AHS to fund and supply the equipment. On Nov. 21st, I called AHS to see if they could tell me the status of the air handler and if there was anything I needed to do. They said the air handler was ready for pick up on Nov. 5th. On Nov. 23rd, I called May Heating and Air again; ONeil, the employee I talked to, said that she would call AHS directly and figure out the issue, and then she would call me back. I did NOT receive a callback. On December 9th, I called them again, and ONeil was the employee I talked to again. She then said that she would have to call AHS back, but in the middle of our conversation, she hung up on me. This company is extremely unprofessional with how they handle business. I do not recommend their service to anyone. If AHS could remove them from the businesses they work with, that would be great.

If I could give this company a -5 stars I would. HORRIBLE company!!! The technician broke my attic door and said he probably did and to put some glorilla glue on it. I call the company and now Karlos is saying he didn't do it. I dont go in my attic and before he came it was not broke. Now he does not want to admit it. Sad shame you can hire people that lie on customers. That's horrible business. How can I even recommend them. The service technician came to my residence. He inspected and took out the filter upstairs and took a photo of it. He then pulled the attic door by the string and walked up the stairs to the attic. He left the attic door open and went downstairs and removed the filter. He took a picture of that too. The problem for which he came out was because there was perspiration on my daughters wall in her bedroom. He said it was PROBABLY the filters that needed changing. He then went to the outside of the house where the two units were and checked them. He said one of them needed 3 lbs of air whatever you call it He then said he was getting ready to go. I said aren't you going to close the attic door, he said oh yes. He told me to go into my kitchen and sign his paperwork. So I said I'll go upstairs with you. So I followed him upstairs. When he pushed the attic door back up, I noticed it was cracked and had a space opening on the side. I said hey what happened there, he said oh. I said you broke it because it wasn't broken before you opened it and went up the ladder. He said I probably did break it. He then told me, a 72 yr old woman that I could get some gorilla glue and glue it back together. I said will that work, he said yes. You can glue anything with gorilla glue. Me not knowing, when my son came home. He asked me what happened to the attic door. I told him. My son said gorilla glue won't fix that. He then called and talked to someone supposedly a manager. The manager said he would take care of it. Days went by and I never heard anything. So I requested to speak with a manager. The receptionist said leave a message on The managers phone which is Tara. Which I did. Still to this day, never received a reply from her. Tara I emailed you today. My fiancé Jeffrey was handling it for me because i was not happy with it. We told the other company not to come because you all needs to fix the attic. They finally came way after your tech broke it. We have left messages for Tara and she has not returned our calls. If it was like that I would not lie and put this review on here. I have no reason to lie. I've been on my job well over 20 yrs and I didn't get this far lying. I see there are lots of other reviews of people that are not happy with your service and I see BBB has you at a grade of F. I feel you should fix the problem your tech caused and he told us to put gorilla glue on it. Now why would he say that if he didn't do it. You have dishonest people working for you. It's a sad shame you all do not take accountability for your actions. You tear up people things and not make your techs accountable. What kind of company is this??? What do I gain from lying on your company? If anything I'd rave good reviews if your company did an awesome job and my issues were fixed. This is bad business and I've never worked with such a company that didn't own up to what their tech did. He knows he did it!!!! I definitely let AHS about the company they referred and let them know Mays Heating and Air is a dishonest company. I will NEVER use them again. They employ dishonest unethical people that lie. I told AHS to NEVER EVER send them to my house.
